The sanctity of human right to freedom of speech in Islam
Freedom refers to the authority to act and make a decision without
external coercion. Mankind is allowed to act and speak without
external pressure and the influence of foreign powers (al-Siba’i
1998). Nevertheless, freedom of speech is defined by `Uthman
(1984) as an individual and social necessity, compatible with
human instinct and the philosophy of his existence as well as an
indispensable right in the realization of his real interest in the
world and the Hereafter. The human right to freedom of speech is
considered by Islamic law as a human right. Islamic law also
respects the right to freedom of speech for non-Muslims in the
Islamic State, which aims to achieve human dignity defined by the
objectives of Shari’a
Physical fitness parameters in the identification of high-potential sepak takraw players
This chapter evaluates the significance of different physical fitness parameters towards identifying the fitness level of
potential sepak takraw players. The discrimination between high and low-fit players was carried out through
hierarchical agglomerative cluster analysis (HACA). In addition, a k-nearest neighbour (k-NN) classifier was developed
and evaluated towards its efficacy in classifying the fitness nature of the players. It was demonstrated from the study
that the proposed methodology could ascertain the fitness level of the players accurately. © The Author(s), under

Mini review on dermatomycosis
Dermatomycosis is a fungal infection of the skin, hair, and nail caused by Trichophyton,
Microsporum, and Epidermophyton. These organisms are found in the environment, humans, and
animals in forms of yeast or mold. There are many factors that contribute to the growth of fungal
infections in human body. But still majority of virulent factors and mechanisms of the diseases of
fungi are not clear. This review paper describes types of fungal infections, their classification,
epidemiology and new insights into pathogenesis with the focus on molecular mechanisms of the
diseases. Furthermore, traditional and novel molecular diagnostic methods and the variety of drug
treatment and the development of resistance against these drugs are discussed
ضوابط الإرهاب في الإسلام ومُحاربتهِ للعُنف (Terrorism restrictions in Islam and fighting violence)
There has been a hideous misunderstanding and a mismatch between the Islamic concept
and the Western concept of terrorism. This was not the direct result of the
intercivilizational conflict and the scientific and intellectual vacuum in the contemporary
Islamic nation, but there are some forces hostile to Islam, its culture, its civilization, the
glories of its nation and its bright history of cultural contribution and creative cultural
achievement. The description of Islam as the religion of terrorism and extremism is
inaccurate. The current research addresses this point. The aim of the research is to clarify
the issue of terrorism in Islam, and that it has controls and conditions to be observed;
otherwise, any action is deemed as violent and rejected by Islam which condemns and
punishes the doer who solely bears the accountability of his own actions. The researcher
reached several conclusions, including but not limited to: To strike fear in the hearts of
the enemy without shedding blood is the Islamic concept derived from the word irhaab.
However, to resort to violence, to spread crimes, and to cause chaos and corruption at the
individual or collective level is not accepted by Islam
أثر القراءات الشاذة في علوم اللغة العربية عند الإمام الرازي في تفسيره "مفاتيح الغيب"
The book (Keys of the Unseen) for Imam EL Razi included a valuable scientific material in
irregular Readings (qiraat shazah). The book is one of the largest books in the interpretation
(Tafsier) of opinion. Opinion Interpretation Specialized scientific encyclopaedia in Islamic studies
at general and in interpretation as specific. The book contained regular and irregular readings ,
the imam did not mention the Irregular readings in a separate section but during the interpretation.
In this sense, the researcher prepared the research with the aim of standing on Scientific status of
Imam Razi, Highlight the effort of Imam Razi in the display of irregular readings. The researcher
used the inductive method and analytical approach. The thesis has shown several results: Imam
Razi follow several ways in the presentation and statement of irregular readings, it also highlights
that the keys to the unseen book of the most important irregular readings and Imam Razi was not
one of the people to Hadith
Islamic Spiritual Guidelines (An Alternative Model to Improve Treatment Compliance with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Patients)
Medication adherence has an important role in therapeutic management in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patients. Patient's non-compliance with
medication is often linked due to psychological factors, such as depression, anxiety, and eating disorders. One effort to improve medication
adherence is the awareness of patients about health problems and this can be done by giving Islamic Spiritual Guidance, which is a treatment or
healing of psychological disorders that are carried out systematically based on the concepts of the Qur'an and As-Sunnah. Islamic Spiritual
Guidance is proven to be effective in influencing the handling of psychological disorders in patients and is believed to also be able to enforce
medication adherence in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Spiritual therapy is very influential to build a sense of self-acceptance so that
patients will be obedient in following the advice of health workers, one of which is being obedient in undergoing medication
Zinc supplementation for respiratory illness and acute gastroenteritis as complement treatment for covid-19
An outbreak of atypical pneumonia by the novel
coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), has been reported in
Wuhan, China since December, 2019. It is a severe
respiratory illness with many other symptoms such as
gastroenteritis. Clinical trials has proved that Zn is a
promising supplement that can ease of cough, fever and
vomiting, dysentery, respiratory illness, diarrhea duration
and recovery, duration of hospitalization and morbidity.
This article suggests a potential role, which should be
considered in the clinical management, and safeness
for Zn supplementation for respiratory illness and acute
gastroenteritis as compliment treatment for covid-19
Physical, mechanical and structural properties of yttrium oxide doped zinc borate glasses
In this project, the nominal glass composition with the form of (55-x) H3BO3-45ZnOxY2O3 (x = 0.0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 and 2.5 mol%) are synthesized by melt quenching techniques. The
effect of Y2O3 on physical, mechanical and structural properties of glasses have been investigated
using different characterization techniques. The parameters like density, molar volume and oxygen
packing density have been calculated. Based on the micro hardness study, it has showed the
decreasing trend from 518.80 N.mm-2 to 453.13 N.mm-2 with an increasing of Y2O3 content from
0.0 mol% to 2.5 mol%. The structural features of the yttrium oxide doped zinc borate glass were
studied via X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) to confirm the amorphous nature of glass and Fourier
Transforms Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) has been done to obtain the band positions and functional
groups. FTIR spectral studies were recorded in the 400-4000 cm-1 wavenumber range at room
temperature
Expert review and pretesting of behavioral supervision in higher education
Purpose: The rationale for the postgraduate supervision measures for higher education by the call for universities to
adopt a systematic practice in postgraduate supervision through new supervisors' exposure to creative ways of
monitoring. This paper aims at understanding, improving and validating the content of behavioral supervision
measures using the expert review and pretesting analysis. Design/methodology/approach: The authors developed,
modified and operationalized the items based on the developmental supervision theoretical concept by Glickman
() to measure the behavioral supervision of postgraduate in higher education. The authors obtain comments and
verification from experts for content validity and criterion validity. Later, the authors do pretesting of face validity.
Findings: The result of the expert review and pretesting, analysis, provides measures (items) for the following seven
stages (components) of postgraduate behavioral supervision: listening/clarifying; encouraging;
presenting/demonstrating; negotiating/problem-solving; directing; standardizing and reinforcing. Practical
implications: The findings contribute to the rational development of supervision measures and functional
transformation in the postgraduate supervision process in higher education at national and international contexts.
Social implications: These supervision measures, if practiced by the supervisors and postgraduates' students, will
accelerate and achieve the aspiration initiative of the Ministry of Higher Education. In general, based on the needs
identified, the positive impact of this study can improve national and international postgraduate program educational
outcomes. Originality/value: There is limited number of empirical research which resulted in postgraduate behavioral
supervision measures in the context of higher education
