Thematic review of sukuk ijarah issued in Nigeria: an opportunity for economic development
Ijarah Sukuk is becoming one of the most improved products in Islamic finance. It has
become an alternative source of financing and liquidity for both private and public sectors.
Also, it plays important role in development of the economy of Muslim and no-Muslim
countries. The objective of this paper is to clarify the concept of Sukuk Ijarah and discuss its
opportunity for economic development of the country. Also, the issues and challenges related
to the implementation of Islamic finance particularly Sukuk by the Federal government of
Nigeria (FGN) and also as an alternative to conventional bond. The paper adopts content
analysis of relevant previous studies. Findings reveal the potential of Sukuk ijarah as an
alternative for rapid economic growth and its functional role in attracting government and
client to invest in it. Furthermore, the authors observe that misunderstanding among religious
leaders is a major challenge to the growth of Islamic banks and implementation of Sukuk in
Nigeria. It is recommended that workshops, seminars and conferences are to be organized by
Islamic centres, financial institutions and academicians in Universities to spread knowledge
and create awareness among Nigerians Muslims and non-Muslims about benefit and
advantage of Islamic finance products and Sukuk in particular
Oscillatory waveform and spectral power analysis of quantitative EEG (qEEG) signals during listening to the Fatihah Chapter
Brain oscillations are the prevalent features that may reflect the underlying
physiological processes. Quranic sound stimulus which gained high attention in neuroimaging
studies shows that the brain oscillations changed during perceiving the stimulus. Its rhythmic
structure was assumed to interact with brainwaves rhythms producing neural entrainment. Hence
this study was performed to investigate the oscillatory waveforms and spectral power changes to
uncover the underlying neuronal mechanisms.Brain electrical data were measured by using the
Electroencephalography followed by waveform analysis and Discriminant Analysis. Results
showed that the waveforms amplitude were reduced, and a rhythmic and symmetrical pattern
were found during listening to the Fatihah Chapter acoustic stimulus.Spectral power analysis
showed that listening to this stimulus activate greater neural population associated with
behavioral and cognition enhancement

The study aimed to reveal the reality of the use of social media networks, and to identify and arrange the
most important ones in use, and its most important characteristics affecting Arabic distance education from
the viewpoint of students of Prince Songkla University, Fatani Branch, Thailand, and used the descriptive
analytical approach, and the questionnaire as a tool to collect data and information, and reached Results,
the most important of which are: The reality of the sample's use of communication networks is medium
and acceptable, the most important of which is Facebook, the paragraph got from the questionnaire
phrases; Which is: (ease of communication with colleagues and friends of study) on the first rank, and this
indicates that the degree of impact is very large; This result confirms the importance of the sample
members ’attention to academic relations and friendships, and the use of communication networks for their
development and strengthening, and recommended strengthening the characteristics of these networks in
teaching and investing in Arabic in a way that serves the distance education process, and the necessity of
joining efforts of those in the teaching of Arabic to speakers of others globally to direct capabilities towards
benefiting from The advantages and characteristics of these networks
Study on the shielding materials for low-energy gamma sources
Photon dosimetry is indispensable in designing an irradiation facilities shielding. Monte Carlo simulation was utilized
to investigate the efficiency of relatively new developed clay and Gadolinum (Gd)-doped polymer as a radiation
shielding material for low energy gamma sources (Am- and Co-). The calculated linear attenuation coefficient ()
of Am- and Co- for clay is higher within . % and . % compared to ordinary concrete, respectively. The value
for Gd-doped polymer is higher by a factor of and compared to clay for Am- and Co-, respectively. A thickness
of cm and cm from both clay and concrete were adequate to attenuate almost % incident photons from Am-
and Co-, respectively. The same thickness of cm by Gd-doped polymer could attenuate almost % of Co-
photons. cm thickness of clay and concrete could shield the gamma source dose rate of Am- ( MBq) down to
. Sv/hr, while almost cm needed for Co- source. Gd-doped polymer with thickness of cm could shield
almost % the dose rate from Co- source. For higher energy gamma sources, clay and ordinary concrete need to
be doped with a higher Z element to ensure safety of the radiation
Computer modelling of a new simple chaotic generator
In this paper, a new circuit of a generator that realizes chaotic behavior is presented. This oscillator-circuit contains
four resistors, two capacitors, one inductor, one diode, one operational amplifier and one voltage source. The
proposed circuit was modeled by utilizing NI's MultiSim software environment. The system's behavior was investigated
through numerical simulations, by using well-known tools of nonlinear theory, such as phase portrait, chaotic
attractor and time distributions of two chaotic system-variables. This proposed circuit of chaotic generator can be used
as a main part of modern systems transmitting and receiving information for masking and decryption of an
information carrier
Miniaturized and high gain RFID reader antenna at 13.56MHz
Technology for radio frequency identification (RFID) is commonly used worldwide. RFID is a developing wireless
technology which make new vital challenge. The ability to precisely read a set of RFID tags become major concern in
RFID networks coverage Detailed analysis of the design based on the 13.56 MHz radio frequency was suggested to
design a kind of RFID reader antenna. Previously, researchers did facing problem with the size of the antenna which
was to maintain the compact size at low frequency is challenging. The proposed antenna will be designed in the shape
of rectangular spiral which contribute into miniaturize of the antenna size. The antenna will be fabricated after the
optimum length and width had been achieved. The goal of this project is to design a small size antenna with 55mm 55
mm at frequency resonance of 13.56 MHz. to reduce the antenna gain on the future. We are going to design and add
the metamaterial to the RFID reader antenna and combine them together and that will help to reduce the antenna
gain
