Repair of Pharyngocutaneous Fistula (PCF) Using Montgomery Salivary bypass Tube after Salvage Total Laryngectomy following Failed Primary Radiotherapy: A Case Report
The occurrence of pharyngocutaneous fistula (PCF) after total salvage laryngectomy following radiotherapy as primary treatment is quite common. In most cases, pharyngocutaneous fistula can heal spontaneously with conservative measures. Here, we are reporting a 69-year-old male with a residual carcinoma of the larynx following failed radiotherapy as primary treatment whose later underwent a salvage total laryngectomy. Post-operatively, it was complicated by the formation of pharyngocutaneous fistula which was failed to heal with conservative measures and few attempts of surgical repair. The fistula later healed with the application of Montgomery Salivarybypass tube after 3 weeks. The application of the salivary bypass tube should be considered and used to promote healing in persistent pharyngocutaneous fistula especially in a post radiotherapy patient
Health Examination of Cultured Red Hybrid Tilapia from Setiu Marine Pond Farm Terengganu
A total of 26 tilapia fishes from Setiu Marine Pond, Terengganu were examined for parasites and bacteria
(Streptococcus agalactiae) infection. Along with fish host sampling, physiochemical parameters of the fish pond were
also being recorded. The fish were examine for ecto- and endo-parasites, followed by bacterial examination from
obvious lesions and selected organs such as liver, heart and spleen. The main parasites that were recorded were
protozoan parasites from the external part of the fishes. Only one helminth was found from the intestine of the
fish. All fish were negative for S. agalactiae infection. The correlation between the prevalence in relation to size
class and gender of fish were weak to moderate but not statistically significant. Overall, the fish cultured in the
marine pond shows an excellent health condition, this might be related to the optimum physiochemical
parameters recorded in the pond during the sampling period
The Psychometric Properties of the Malay Version of Psychosocial Effects of Abnormal Pap Smear Questionnaire (PEAPS-Q): A Confirmatory Factor Analysis
Introduction: The PEAPS-Q was used to assess the psychosocial effect of women with abnormal Pap smear results. The aim
of this study was to measure the validity and reliability of PEAPS-Q in Malay language.
Methods: A total of 218 respondents had participated in this cross-sectional study. Confirmatory construct validity and internal
consistency assessments were analysed using SPSS Amos version 21.0 after the process of translation, content validity, face
validity and exploratory factor analysis.
Results: The first model directly confirmed the original four constructs. It demonstrated an acceptable factor loading (0.47-
0.96), domain to domain correlation (0.19-0.78) and best fit [Chi-squared/degree of freedom = 2.200, Goodness of Fit Index
(GFI) = 0.901, Tucker-Lewis Index (TLI) = 0.936, Comparative Fit Index (CFI) = 0.950, Root Mean square Residual (RMR) =
0.073 and Root Mean Square Error of Approximation (RMSEA) = 0.074]. The Cronbach's α and composite reliability of the
domains were excellent which ranged from 0.75 to 0.85 and 0.76 to 0.85, respectively.
Conclusion: The Malay version PEAPS-Q was a valid and reliable instrument to be applied among women in Malaysia setting

Magnetic Data Acquisition System (MAGDAS) is a magnetometer initiated by the International Center for
Space Weather Science and Education in Kyushu University, Japan, to study space weather. The latest of real-time
Magnetic Data Acquisition System/Circum-pan Pacific Magnetometer Network was successfully installed at the East Coast
Environmental Research Institute in Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin, Terengganu, Malaysia, by Kyushu University. This is
the fifth magnetometer under the MAGDAS network (geographic latitude and longitude: 5.23, 103.04 and geomagnetic
latitude and longitude: - 4.21, 175.91). In this study, the results of data plot obtained at Terengganu (TRE) station were
shown to have reliable patterns of geomagnetic elements. The amplitude variations for each component were also proximate
with other stations and a standard model. This study compared MAGDAS-II data for the H component with solar
wind data (input energy, IMF, dynamic pressure and speed)
