Tarekat Tasawuf Benteng Akidah Ahli Sunnah Wal Jamaah
Aquatic Insect Larvae As An Indicator Of Ecological Integrity Of Panasen Upstream, Tondano Watershed, North Sulawesi
The upstream ecological integrity facing anthropogenic pressures has been assessed linked to the community of aquatic insect larvae inhabiting. This paper evaluate the ecological integrity of the Panasen Stream by determining the distribution and environmental parameters affecting the community of aquatic insect’s larvae in the Tondano Watershed. Physical and chemical parameters such as temperature, velocity, pH, Dissolved Oxygen, Conductivity, Turbidity, Hardness, Total Suspended Solids, Ammonia and Total Phosphate Water were collected. PCA analysis showed that current velocity, depth and width of the stream greatly affected the distribution and abundance of aquatic insect larvae, precipitation and substrate. Land use and active volcanic results in unsustainable anthropogenic activities have contributed to lowering the water quality, low species richness and weak ecological integrity of the Panasen Stream
Impact Sedimentation To Community Structure Macrozoobenthos In Segara Anakan Lagoon
Change of structure community of Macrozoobenthos due to sedimentation has apparently
contributed to a reduction of the quality of the aquatic environment, particularly in Segara
Anakan Lagoon. This study aims to determine the extent to which the effects of sedimentation
and nutrients in the Segara Anakan Lagoon on macrozoobenthos community structure. The
method used in this study surveys. Primary data collected are nutrients, macrozoobenthos,
sedimentation rate and secondary data. The results showed that the rate of sedimentation in
the dry and rainy season was 0.067 to 2 m/s and 1.61 to 2.00 m/s respectively. Balanus sp, Melanoides sp, Corbicula sp, Polychaeta sp., Thiara sp. were dominance in the
dry season, while Corbicula sp, Melanoides sp, Thiara sp, Tarebra sp, Balanus sp, Polychaeta
sp. and Barbatia sp. were dominance in the rainy season

Combating fake news in Malaysia – An analysis of anti-fake news act 2018 (AFNA)
The phenomenon development of the Internet and various types of social networking
services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Twitter, Facebook and many others has greatly
facilitated the communication of news and information in this era. Unfortunately, these web based communication platforms have been manipulated by certain people to disseminate
fake news in the society. The mass circulation of such news in the cyber world has not only
confused the people, but also threatened the safety, economy and well-being of the
Malaysian citizens and the country itself. In combating this startling issue, the Malaysian
Parliament has on 2 April 2018 passed the Anti-Fake News Act 2018 (AFNA), which came into
force on 11 April 2018. Nonetheless, a critical issue arose as to whether AFNA would have the
effect of depriving the people’s fundamental right to freedom of speech and expression which
is explicitly guaranteed by Article 10 of the Federal Constitution. As such, this paper aims to
scrutinise the provisions of AFNA in details and its impacts on the people in the country.
Comparative analysis will also be made with other countries that have introduced anti-fake
news law in order to examine the suitability and efficacy of AFNA
Rohingya atrocity and concern for regional security
The Rohingya people of Myanmar are an ethnic group existing in a state of limbo. Due to
their different ethnic and religious identity, their ancestors in Arakan (present Rakhine State)
were victimized. It is commonly alleged that the Rohingya are involved with separatist
movements that threaten to destabilize Myanmar. From the end of 1950’s ethnic minorities
such as the Kachin, Karen, Shan even Rakhine armed groups often clashed with the
Myanmar army. The Myanmar government has launched a major military operation against
Rohingya civilians using the pretext of hunting down militants who attacked government
buildings, including police stations on Aug. 25, 2017. Since the operation, more than half a
million Rohingya have fled the country because of well- founded fears of persecution.
Various sources have witnessed that five thousand people have been killed including
children, women and old men. The international community has warned that if the situation
of Rohingya Muslims is not addressed quickly, with an emphasis on justice and rights, then
these displaced persons will become a serious concern for this whole region. Geo-politically
the Rohingya residential area is very sensitive for Bangladesh, Myanmar and India. Various
Bangladesh security and intelligence agents have ascertained that some separatists from
Myanmar and North-East India are living in no-men’s land between these three countries.
Exclusion, poverty and discrimination are thought to be some of the conditions that create an
environment that is conducive to the breeding of terrorism and militancy. It is not unlikely
that people will take up arms to protect themselves from a tyrannical rule if they as a
community have been tortured for decades. All these conditions are prevalent in the
Rohingya communities. The same issue was raised by the Malaysian Prime Minister in
ASEAN-Australia special summit on March 2018. He also mentioned that “suffering of the
Rohingya people and their displacement could no longer be considered a domestic issue. The
problem should not be looked through the humanitarian prism alone as it could potentially
develop into a serious security threat to the region.”
This paper is based predominantly on documentary analysis. The nature of this research
demanded theoretical discussion on various forms of security. In the first phase, security and
its global phenomenon related relevant literature will be reviewed to understand the
theoretical framework of this paper. In the second phase, the paper will explore how the
Rohingya became a security concern for South and Southeast Asian countries
