Propensity towards entrepreneurial education among students of higher learning institutions
No full textThis study attempts to examine the level of entrepreneurial propensity among students of
Higher Learning Institution in the Northern region of Peninsular Malaysia. The objective of this
paper is to examine the relationship between the entrepreneurship education and propensity
towards entrepreneurship practices. A total of 300 students are taken from two campuses which
are UiTM Seri Iskandar Campus and UiTM Tapah Campus. The questionnaires are personally
distributed to these respondents. There are four factors that had been tested on the
entrepreneurial propensity with the use of appropriate measure using the 5-point Likert scaling.
All the constructs and variables are systematically developed and hypotheses. An empirical test
carried out on the data gathered from questionnaires demonstrates that four entrepreneurship
education variables which are University’s role,university’s curriculum, role model as well as
internship programme are found to have statically significant relationship on the propensity
towards entrepreneurship. Finally, based on the findings, the discussion of the study has been
forwarded

Melayu, pembestarian merupakan istilah yang hampir kepada makna tersebut, Justeru, kertas ini bermula
dengan huraian makna semantik pembestarian dalam kerangka al-Quran al-Karim. Singkapan suasana
pembestarian wanita Islam pada era awal kegemilangannya dimulakan dengan sorotan terhadap latar
pendidikan wanita Arab pra Islam. Ini bagi menunjukkan kesan penurunan al-Quran terhadap perubahan nilai
dan kedudukan wanita sebagai salah seorang ahli masyarakat. Beberapa senario pembestarian yang
mengambarkan kegigihan Rasulullah SAW dan para sahabatnya dalam menyemai, menyubur dan
menghargai keintelektualan dan keperibadian wanita diulas. Ini diikuti oleh singkapan ke atas beberapa tokoh
intelek wanita di zaman kegemilangan Islam yang meneruskan gagasan pembestarian ummah. Di akhirnya,
kertas ini mengemukakan beberapa harapan kepada ilmuwan wanita Islam dalam memperkasakan
pembestarian ummah di Malaysia. Singkapan yang dilakukan sewajarnya menjadi momentum yang memberi
sinar harapan kepada wanita-wanita Islam untuk terus maju dan berdaya-saing bagi mencapai keredhaan
Allah s.w.t. dalam mencipta tamadun dan peradaban yang luhur

No full textKekentalan sesebuah sanad amat diperlukan terutama di institusi pengajian Islam
di peringkat Pondok. Hai ini demikian kerana sanad adalah elemen penting dalam
menentukan kesahihan dan keberkatan ilmu yang akan dipelajari. Kajian ini bermatlamat
meneroka sanad pengajian kitab Tashil Nayl al-Amani di Pondok Pasir Tumbuh, Kelantan.
Selain itu, ia juga bertujuan menghasilkan sebuah carta sanad pengajian kitab ini di pondok
berkenaan. Kajian ini dilakukan mengikut prinsip kajian kualitatif. Data utama kajian
adalah transkrip temu bual yang dijalankan ke atas tiga orang guru yang terlibat mengajar
kitab Tashil di Pondok Pasir Tumbuh. Data utama ini disokong oleh temu bual sokongan
yang dilakukan ke atas pentadbir pondok selain data analisis dokumen. Kajian mendapati
bahawa sekurang-kurangnya tiga sanad pengajian kitab Tashil dikesan. Ketiga-tiga sanad
berkenaan berakhir kepada tiga orang anak murid kesayangan Syeikh Ahmad, iaitu
pengarang kitab Tashil. Implikasi daripada kajian ini menyumbang kepada pengesahan
sanad pengajian kitab Tashil di Pondok Pasir Tumbuh adalah kuat dan jelas

lubricity purposes, various types of lubricants are used on board. Since
the marine machineries are working in aquatic environment, the
lubricating fluid working in each machine is prone to water
contamination. In this work, effects temperature, shear rate and
contaminant level on rheological behaviors of water contaminated
hydraulic fluid were examined. Power law model and Cross-Careau
models were applied to the experimental data. The findings show that

No full textPolarization imaging for face spoofing detection: identification of black ethnical group
No full textRecently, several studies have shown the ability of polarized light as one of the face spoofing countermeasures. In this
paper, polarized light is used to identify genuine human user from black ethnical skin color. Printed photos are used
as spoofing attacks. Then, the Stokes parameters are applied to generate I image for each genuine face and
printed photo. Visually, the I of genuine black users seem brighter than the other skin colors. The mean intensity
has erroneously classified all the I images of black skins as photo faces. Coarsely comparing I histograms of
black skin and printed photos shows that data distributions between the black skin and printed photo are relatively
similar. The bimodality coefficient (BC) algorithm is then applied to study the distributions modality. Surprisingly, the
BC has been able to identify these genuine black skin group well, but fails to other ethnical groups. A newly proposed
fusion formula which is named as the Mean-BC (MBC) has achieved higher detection accuracy rate and can be a
robust face spoofing detection measure for polarized database consists of various ethnical groups

which included financing and mortgage takaful model for loss an effort to work. By
using the concept of profit which is the financing amount is half of the principle loan
and consequence to that, a new formula of Islamic home financing can be derive. The
new model of mortgage takaful will include loss an effort to work‟s coverage. Hence,

No full textA Software Defined Network (SDN) is a relatively advanced way to implement communication networks. The decision making SDN separates the control layer, which determines where the packets are sent, from the basic infrastructure (also known as the infrastructure layer or data plan) which restores the packets to the specified destination. The newly emerging standard for enactment is the OpenFlow protocol, which contains a standard protocol for communications between the control layer and the infrastructure layer. This study analyzes the impact of OpenFlow single and multi-controllers on the performance of the OpenFlow protocol network. The research was conducted using the discrete event network simulation, omnet++, and involved analyzing the main network metrics including End to End Delay and Throughput. The results indicate that the type of controller used has a clear impact on the performance of the network
