An efficient gateway routing scheme for disaster recovery scenario
Natural disaster can strike at any time and can ruin large regions damaging houses, buildings, as well as physical
communication infrastructure. Therefore, a network backup is essential in the disaster recovery areas as victims can
contact their loved one in order to update the current situation as soon as possible. A mobile ad hoc network (MANET)
is a collection of mobile devices that dynamically communicate with each other without any physical infrastructure.
This feature offers a solution for communication problems in disaster recovery and keeping the communication going
in disaster areas. In this paper we propose an efficient routing selection scheme (GWRS) to overcome traffic
congestion problems due to huge calls in disaster areas network. This new scheme provides a flexible and feasible
approach in determining the best route. The routing scheme will simplify the selection of routes and prevent nodes
from broadcasting packets to the entire network. In addition, this scheme eradicates any redundant nodes in each
level of the routing table. Ad-Hoc On-Demand Distance Vector (AODV) and Destination Sequenced Distance Vector
(DSDV) routing schemes was chose because the schemes show the best performance for reactive and proactive
categories respectively in emergency scenarios. These schemes simulated in the same realistic environment of disaster
recovery area. Then, the performance of the proposed scheme is compared to these two schemes
Northeast Monsoon Effect on Ultra High Frequency (UHF) Signal Attenuation at Kusza Observatory
Northeast (NE) monsoon season in Malaysia was developed due to conjunction with cold air outbreaks from Siberia
produce heavy rains, strong wind, and high humidity. This weather condition can affect the radio signal transmission
which is crucial to spectrum user. This work investigates the effect of the wet season due to Northeast season on radio
signal power within Ultra High Frequency (UHF) band at KUSZA Observatory (KO). Three of weather parameters (wind
speed, humidity and rain rate) was considered with the radio signal variation. Measurement of these weather
parameters and radio signal power level (dBm) were collected using weather station and spectrum analyzer
respectively. From the result obtained, we found that wind speed played a role in radio signal attenuation indirectly.
The combination of wind speed (km/h) along with high humidity (%) and rain rate(mm/s) during NE monsoon season
have given a significant impact to a radio signal. These findings is useful to radio astronomer to determine the best
period for radio astronomical observation with minimum interference considering weather condition. This study will
also beneficial to spectrum user such as mobile telecommunication, wireless internet and radio broadcasting in
managing and improving their services
Performance comparison of some addition chain methods based on integer family
A generalized version of an addition chain problem, in which one must find a chain that simultaneously satisfies a
sequence on integer in ascending order, is NP-complete. There is no known algorithm which can calculate an optimal
addition chain for a given number with any guarantees of reasonable timing or small memory usage. Several methods
were introduced to calculate relatively short chain and they are most used to support scalar multiplication operation
tailored to limited computational resources in elliptic curve cryptography. In reality, one method is no better than the
other except on certain occasions and only for specific integers. In this studies, we evaluate some existing addition
chain methods against each other for their competitive performance by categorizing integers into various groups as
the input. This result can be used as a benchmark for which method is suitable in which condition anticipated
E-Marketing and Challenges among Indonesian Coffee Farmers
Coffee plays an important role in the Indonesian economy, besides being a source of foreign exchange, it also provides
community employment and a source of income for coffee growers. Indonesia's exports of green beans up to to
% of the harvest. Coffee production is dominated by about million small farmers who mostly live in remote
villages throughout the archipelago with different coffee-growing areas that show diversity in production systems. In
general, Indonesian coffee holders are somewhat vulnerable due to small landholdings, relatively unstable income,
and limited access to extension services. From the collected data, we can conclude that coffee farmers in Aceh are
married, and they became farmers - years. Owned a coffee farm of Ha. Ha with - workers with a harvest

Therefore, one can conclude that coffee farmers in Aceh are financially good enough, but because of the high cost of

An enumerative algorithm for the maximum clique problem
Partial enumerative algorithms are presented for maximum clique problems which are very easy to implement. Search
results for efficient implementation of any graph for randomly generated graphs of up to 10 vertices and more than
ten sides. Appropriate specifications are also provided for testing problems to facilitate future comparisons. In
addition, to understand the maximum clique search without using any software. Search results are presented in the
form of examples
Analysis of causality relationship between the composite stock price index (CSPI) Jakarta with large companies in Indonesia
The process of globalization lately, causes most countries pay great attention to the capital market, because it has an
important and strategic role for a country's economic security. The existence of the global economic crisis has a
significant impact on the condition of the Indonesian capital market. Capital market movements can be seen from the
ups and downs of stock prices recorded in an index movement or better known as the Composite Stock Price Index
(CSPI). This paper intends to examine the causality relationship between the Indonesian stock market and the Jakarta
CSPI. The aim is to investigate the causality of the returns of large companies in Indonesia with the movement of CSPI
stocks. The method used is granger causality test with Vector Autoregression (VAR) modeling and volatility modeling
using GARCH model approach. Causality test results show that there is a direct relationship that affects and is
influenced by the CSPI, and the relationship that affects each other between the company's stock market and the
movement of the CSPI
The Important of Horizontal Directional Drilling Standard Technical Requirements
Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) is a trenchless technology provides an installation alternative that offers a lot of
benefit compared to traditional open-cut method. It's called HDD because its steering ability to avoid existing utilities
or other obstacles either horizontally, vertically and even pulled back where she got its name. HDD was developed in
California in the 1970s and was introduced in Europe in 1986. Since year 1992 up to 2016 there are more than 40
thousand-unit HDD machine were sold worldwide. The aims of this study are to determine the present local
authorities' technical requirements in HDD works, to determine the factors of HDD good practices and to develop a
standard HDD's technical requirement. This research shall use mixed method in achieving the objectives. A descriptive
and exploratory research design will be used for the study. The research design for this study contains the following
consist of the research problem and research questions, sampling design, method of data collection, method of data
analysis, validation/verification of the HDD standard technical requirements and its' frameworks. This study shall able
to produce a standard HDD technical requirement and its' framework. With the establishment of a thorough and a
standard local authority' technical requirements it's will able to educate the HDD contractors and assist them in
carrying out their work properly, successfully and safely. It's will also able to educate the stake holders on how
important to follow the stipulated technical requirements that contributed to the project success
