The Lived Experiences of Black Pastors and Their Self-Care
Get PDFBlack pastors tend to carry the burden of the Black community, church, congregants, family, and their own personal struggles. How these individuals handle their experiences, stress, and self-care can assist them in creating a healthy life and work balance. There is limited literature on Black male pastors and their lived experiences and self-care practices. This study explored the lived experiences of Black male pastors and how it affects their self-care practices. This study utilized a phenomenological qualitative research design. This qualitative approach allows for the Black male pastor’s voice to be heard and documented. The findings of this study show that there are several demands of ministry work that are required of the pastor through the eyes of the pastor himself, congregation, and community. They also show that the pastor’s support system included the pastor’s wife and other pastors. And lastly, they show that pastors feel self-care practices are important and they encourage their congregation to take care of themselves. The pastors, however, reported that they sometimes fall short in taking care of themselves. Black pastors feel they have to be “intentional” when seeking self-care practices. While Black pastors have a huge obligation to the congregation and the community they serve, it is important for them to take care of their self-identity (man, husband, father, etc.) to be effective to their congregation. This study brings additional awareness to the mental health profession to take a closer look at this population and develop appropriate treatment plans that will build trust and confidence and reduce the barriers of seeking mental health treatment

Individuals and Families Experiencing Loss and Bereavement
No full textClinical work with the bereaved is a nuanced and emotionally laden process. Families enter therapy at a vulnerable time in their life cycle and trust that they will be supported in healing. This chapter provides a brief review of research on loss and bereavement in families that have experienced loss from cancer, the death of an older parent, the death of a child, or the sudden, violent death of a family member. Specifically, it includes a description of the loss, including prevalence, and the types of grief associated with the loss. The chapter also includes variation and prevalence in grief types or grief response by age, gender, marital status, personality, and relationship type. The clinical applications section presents a case and intervention for each family type, and consistent with the research evidence. Public Capital Infrastructure Management: Cases of Germany, Hungary and the USA
No full textThe study uses a comparative case study approach to analyze contrasts and similarities of capital infrastructure management at the national level in Hungary, Germany, and the USA. Public investment has decreased in Germany and the USA while Hungary has benefited from significant public investments financed by EU funds over the past 15 years. Ageing infrastructure and public infrastructure maintenance has been found to be the weakest area in all three countries. The COVID-19 pandemic has further exacerbated existing challenges in underinvestment in public infrastructure. Political support for capital infrastructure project could be more important than cost-benefit estimates in the USA and Hungary. These study findings show that there has been an increased need to institutionalize recommended practices in capital infrastructure management at national levels of government, in particular during COVID-19 crisis. The countries have a unique opportunity to reinvest in capital infrastructure and jumpstart countries’ economy during COVID-19 crisis.https://opus.govst.edu/fac/1035/thumbnail.jp

Keeping all this in mind, we want to manage all the student and teacher data with the help of automating the current manual system.
To learn the courses online, educational institutes need to automate physical services. For doing this, a registration management system needs to be implemented. This registration system will be managing the data of students, teachers, course details, etc. For doing such operations the application will be categorizing the users into 3 types of students, teacher, and admin.
The main objective of this application is to manage the student\u27s and teachers’ data. Students who want to learn need to register with the application and then they need to sign up. This will add security to the application and the student will be identified with the help of a username and password. All the personal information of students and teachers will be maintained, they will be given additional features like adding the details, updating the data, deleting the data, searching for the data, etc. Existing applications will not suit the requirements of our system, that is the reason a new application needs to be developed. As per the requirements of the application, the estimated project completion date is 12th December 2022

There are three users on the website. ➢ Renter – Navigate to choose the car of their choice and book it by making an advance rental payment. ➢ Owner – They can list their car in the marketplace, view the booking details, and post rental ratings ➢ Admin - must keep track of all users, including the Renter, Owner, The listed cars, and their bookings.
After signing into the website, the user will land on the homepage. The homepage is made very interactive and userfriendly. In the homepage\u27s navigation menu, users can select various sections that will direct them to the different pages having unique functionality.

Here, the hiring procedure is managed by the system. This project will make it possible for job seekers from various walks of life to apply for a position in the organization for a potentially exciting job opening. Job seekers can utilize the application to update their profile information, competencies, and skill set. When job seeker applies for a position, they create an account and are referred to as the applied user.[1] User will get in touch with the recruiter to get updates if user were qualified. The recruiters, on the other hand, have the opportunity to post any new job openings they may have in their companies, interact with applicants if necessary, and interview qualified applicants. This system will be entirely under the admin\u27s control, with the lone exception of the evaluation procedure, which is company-specific and hence unpredictable. The management of users, roles, and job listings is also included.
Although this is a modernized and improved version of the current process or system, it is by no means a novel concept. It\u27s anticipated that this application will go live in the first week of December 2022
