    No full text
According to the National Security Council (2024), in the United States there is an average of 38 children under the age of 15 that die each year from vehicular hyperthermia. (Injury Facts, 2024). Vehicular hyperthermia is when one is exposed to prolonged heat exposure and the core body temperature rises to dangerous levels.
