Comparing Experiences of Sexual Prejudice and Its Effects Among Plurisexual Adults by Sexual Identity Label and Gender
Plurisexual individuals are at an increased risk of poor mental health, due in part to experiences of prejudice. The term “bisexual” has made it difficult for researchers to classify individuals who are attracted to more than one gender or, identify as a plurisexual. Using a cross-sectional design, a sample of 427 adults, participants were coded as plurisexual based on their label identification, sexual attraction, and sexual behavior to explore gender and sexual identity label differences in experienced binegativity, internalized binegativity, and depression among cisgender and transgender plurisexual adults. A series of factorial analyses of variance were used to identify gender and sexual identity group differences regarding binegativity and depression. A series of linear regressions to explore the associations between gender, sexual identity label and binegativity and depression. Results indicated that the transgender, cisgender male and non-bi+-identifying groups experienced greater amount of binegativity and than their cisgender and bi+ counterparts. Linear regressions revealed that binegativity predicted internalized binegativity and depression for all groups. These findings emphasize the importance of separating transgender and non-bi+-identifying individuals in research on plurisexuality and provide guidance for couple and family therapists working with plurisexual people

To improve quality in their services and patient’s experience, healthcare organizations preferring Internet of medical things (IoMT). IoMT means connecting all medical things via internet. IoMT brought many new services and applications in healthcare industry. Advanced feature of IoMT, reduces the cost of treatment and increases the quality in treatment. Unfortunately, security and privacy issues of IoMT are getting insufficient attention. These security and privacy issues of IoMT are life threating to patients. IoMT manufactures and users such as healthcare staff and patients not considering these issues as like features. This sate of art will educate the manufactures, healthcare staff and patients about security and privacy issues of IoMT. In addition to this, this paper will guide some counter measures to reduce the risk of security and privacy issues of IoMT devices. Hospital (A Duplex)
Illness is one of the most universal yet isolating experiences, as it can seem impossible to truly express one’s unique experience with pain and suffering. Especially with the COVID-19 pandemic rolling into its third year, many patients have felt a sense of isolation like never before — discharge parties, family visits, and even simple physical gestures of solidarity have been rendered impossible. Thus, I have written a duplex as a means of reflection, remembrance, and witnessing to the experiences of many patients that go unheard — the silent moments in a hospital room at the coming of night, the stillness of waiting for medical updates, the sacred value of witnessing and hope. The duplex is a unique poetic form, with each line containing between 9-11 syllables organized into couplets that build off of one another — the first line of each couplet mirrors the previous line with the first and last lines of the poem mirroring each other. It conveys a sense of movement and memory. I hope it gives readers space to exist in between the lines, to linger, to reflect, and to heal

Geospatial Methods for Mapping Domestic Waste Piles and Macro Plastics
There are growing concerns about the threats posed by plastics to human society and natural ecosystems. There is evidence of the harm presented to economies, public health and society. Although plastic pollution is an issue of great concern, low- and middle-income countries lack waste disposal services and this lead to disposal of waste including plastics into the environment. Monitoring presence of waste disposed into the environment is crucial for assessment of remedial measures . Traditional approach for identifying locations with plastic and waste accumulation in the environment involves field surveys, and drone technology is an emerging technology being applied for mapping the presence of plastics and waste in the environment. In this study, I have presented basic requirements for collecting data using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) to map plastics and accumulation of domestic waste in the environment. For example, it was observed that a Ground Sampling Distance (GSD) of 2.51 cm is too coarse for mapping plastics of size less than 10 cm. Additionally, the study has also utilized random forest as a machine learning algorithm to classify and identify plastics and waste piles from UAV-derived imagery in a densely populated area of Blantyre, Malawi. The random forest predictions show high performance compared to prior studies for both waste piles (Precision: 0.9048, Recall: 0.95, and F-score: 0.9268) and plastics detection (Precision: 0.8905, Recall: 0.9421, and F-score: 0.9156). With the reported accuracies, UAV imagery can be employed to guide environmental policy implementation by helping in monitoring the effectiveness of policies that have been set to mitigate and address problems such as open waste dumping

The use of smartphone applications for students to learn ESL grammar and vocabulary
The primary goal of this project is to provide numerous grammar and vocabulary apps, as well as to explore and assess various approaches for teaching English to non-English speaking students, as well as to evaluate efficient ESL teaching applications for these students. This research may serve as a foundation for the development of new applications for firms operating in the sector. Additionally, teachers may use new tactics in the classroom and online classrooms by utilizing more effective ways and methodologies, as well as the new apps or technologies discussed in this article. Additionally, students are exposed to a variety of applications and their associated possibilities, and the analysis findings might be beneficial in inspiring English as a Foreign Language (EFL) students. Suggestions are presented in this paper for all three groups of stakeholders: teachers, students, and developers. Recommendations for future research topics are provided as a way to develop new strategies and methodologies to create interest in students and to make learning more effective
Evaluation of Email Spam Detection Techniques
Email has become a vital form of communication among individuals and organizations in today’s world. However, simultaneously it became a threat to many users in the form of spam emails which are also referred as junk/unsolicited emails. Most of the spam emails received by the users are in the form of commercial advertising, which usually carry computer viruses without any notifications. Today, 95% of the email messages across the world are believed to be spam, therefore it is essential to develop spam detection techniques. There are different techniques to detect and filter the spam emails, but off recently all the developed techniques are being implemented successfully to minimize the threats. This paper describes how the current spam email detection approaches are determining and evaluating the problems. There are different types of techniques developed based on Reputation, Origin, Words, Multimedia, Textual, Community, Rules, Hybrid, Machine learning, Fingerprint, Social networks, Protocols, Traffic analysis, OCR techniques, Low-level features, and many other techniques. All these filtering techniques are developed to detect and evaluate spam emails. Along with classification of the email messages into spam or ham, this paper also demonstrates the effectiveness and accuracy of the spam detection techniques
Relationship Between Time Allocated to Instruction and Elementary Student Achievement Across Select Minnesota Public Schools
This study investigated the amount of instructional time allocated tp reading/language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, art, music, and physical education as reported by select public elementary schools in Minnesota during the 2018-2019 school year. The purpose of this study was to investigate the average amount of time allocated to each subject area, as well as the correlation between the amount of time allocated and the relationship to student achievement outcomes in both reading and mathematics as measured by the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCAs).
This quantitative study collected and utilized secondary data which was gathered from the Minnesota Department of Education’s data center via a public data request. The findings of this study reported the average amount of time allocated to instruction in each subject area as reported by 68 select public elementary schools in Minnesota. The findings of this study also reported the effect size of the relationship between the amount of time allocated to instruction and student achievement outcomes.
The findings of this study suggested that a majority of reported instructional time allocations were devoted to tested subjects, similar to the findings of previous research (Center on Education Policy, 2008; Judson, 2013). The findings of this study also noted significant positive relationships between the amount of time allocated to both reading/language arts instruction as well as physical education instruction.
