¬¬Challenges and Solutions in the Implementation of DevOps Tools & Security (DevSecOps): A Systematic Review
DevOps (Development & Operation) is a set of practices that combine software development (Dev) and IT Operations (Ops). It aims to shorten the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process by providing Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployments (CD). The effort to increase Security in DevOps has resulted in the DevSecOps paradigm. Which is a set of practices, cultural approaches, and tools that bring together software development (Dev), IT Operations (Ops), and security (Sec) to increase an organization\u27s ability to deliver applications and services at high velocity securely. We conducted a Systematic Literature Review of 54 peer-reviewed studies. The Thematic analysis method was applied to analyze the extracted data. We identified challenges related to adopting DevSecOps, Solutions, and Integration. We also identified key gaps by evaluating various solutions against the challenges. The results of the study were classified into DevOps tools and Security tools
Evaluating Message Framing: How to Sell Behavior-Analytic Data Collection
With more children getting diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and the associated challenges they might encounter, it is crucial for behavior analysts to tailor treatments that could bring the maximum benefit to these children. One way to do this is to involve parents in their child’s behavioral support to improve their child’s overall achievement. However, parents might not be willing to participate in behavior-analytic therapy-related activities. One way to increase this involvement might be through message framing. Message framing is an approach where information is presented in a gain or loss framed manner to influence an individual’s action. Hence, the purpose of this study is to examine the effect of message frames (i.e., gain framed, loss framed, and mixed framed) on increasing parents’ and students’ data collection. There were no clear outcomes on the effectiveness of message framing for participants’ level of data collection. However, these results might be due to a range of variables, which are reviewed and discussed. This preliminary study in message framing opens up avenues of exploration when convincing stakeholders to be involved in a client’s therapy
Does Coca-Cola Consumption Potentiate Diabetes Development in NOD Mice?
It is known that the Westernized diet in the United States contains excess sugar, and paired with minimal exercise, can lead to health impairments like type 2 diabetes. Whereas a correlation with minimal exercise and increased sugar intake has been found with type 2 diabetes, yet this influence is unknown for type 1 diabetes. Type 1 diabetes, which has a prominent autoimmune background, may be affected by excessive consumption of soft drinks. Thus, a model of a spontaneous type 1 diabetic, non-obese-diabetic (NOD) mouse, will be used to test the effects of Coca-Cola on the development of the disease. We hypothesize that Coca-Cola will exacerbate type 1 diabetes onset and glycemia levels in female NOD mice. Young pre-diabetic 5–7-week- old female NOD mice will be randomly put into the groups that will either drink Coca-Cola (n=15), sugar-water (n=15), or autoclaved water (n=31). The mice will be taken off Coca-Cola or sugar-water after six weeks of treatment and will continue to drink autoclaved water until 24 weeks of age, when about 60-80% of the control mice should become diabetic, based on our animal colony’s historical data. The glucose levels and body weights will be recorded weekly. At either 24 weeks of age or when hyperglycemia is present for two consecutive measurements, the mice will be sacrificed. Data will be analyzed for a statistical difference in diabetes incidence, glycemic levels, and body weight gains between the treatment groups
Crossing the Digital Divide and the Equity Expanse: Reaching and Teaching All Students During the Pandemic
The COVID-19 pandemic illuminated the digital divide revealing an expanse of inequity among students who had access to the internet, personal devices, and parental support during remote learning and those who did not. Framed with the theoretical lens of equity literacy, this paper details the results of a survey completed by 56 Minnesota district level technology directors. The survey asked how school districts were addressing the technology inequities experienced by students and families while in hybrid and distance learning models. Results reflected that districts’ efforts to provide students technology devices were efficient and successful. Of greatest concern for respondents was the lack of students’ attendance and engagement in learning. Recommendations for further research are provided including advocacy for the expansion of broadband service, the pandemic’s impact on the mental health of students, and efforts to sustain access to technology for all learners after the COVID-19 pandemic concludes
St. Cloud Area Quarterly Business Report, Vol. 24, No. 2
St. Cloud area unemployment reached its lowest point since measurement began in 1990, registering at 1.8% in April 2022. Area economic growth was very strong in the months leading out of the Omicron wave of the pandemic, with a majority of survey respondents reporting higher business activity in the February to April period. Over 70% reported paying higher wages and charging higher prices for their goods and services. 5 of 6 leading indicators were positive. In special questions, more than 70% of surveyed businesses did not lay off workers but of those that did a majority did not return many of them to their payrolls. Regional data showed that continuing unemployment insurance claims in 2022 were higher in both accommodation and food services and in health care and social assistance. It was lower in manufacturing and wholesale trade

The Effectiveness of Telehealth Mindfulness Meditation in Reducing Substance Use Craving in an Outpatient Treatment Facility
The current study aims to examine the effectiveness of mindfulness meditation via telehealth as part of routine care in an outpatient substance use treatment program in Jakarta, Indonesia. The randomized controlled study design was performed to find the difference between the mean score of the Mindfulness Attention and Awareness Scale (MAAS) and the Aggregated Drug Craving Scale (ADCS) level before and after the intervention for the treatment group (n=15) and the control group (n=15). The two 2-way ANOVA (groups x times) was conducted to find the difference in ADCS and MAAS scores between the treatment group who received the Treatment as Usual (TAU) plus the additional four weekly telehealth mindfulness meditation sessions and the control group who received the TAU only. This study found that there was no significant difference in the average score of the MAAS (F (1, 56) = .147, p = .702, ηp2 = .003) and the ADCS (F (1, 56) = .358, p = .552, ηp2 = .006) for any interaction of groups, both treatment and control groups. There was also no significant difference in the average score of the MAAS score (F (1, 56) = .077, p = .783, ηp2 = .001) and the ADCS score (F (1, 56) = 1.88, p = .175, ηp2 = .033) for any type of intervention times, both at pretest and posttest. Hence, this study concluded that the TAU with added telehealth mindfulness meditation is not more effective than the TAU-only in reducing substance use craving
