The influence of women’s earning status and other socioeconomic factors on their healthcare-seeking behavior: evidence from the Bangladesh household income and expenditure survey, 2016 / Dr. Shahnaz Haque and Prof. Dr. Saidatulakmal Mohd
Economic progress is intricately tied to the concept of human capital. The active participation of women who earn income plays a significant role in mitigating poverty and addressing gender disparities. Consequently, in the pursuit of fostering sustainable economic development, a comprehensive exploration of women's health concerns becomes imperative. The acquisition of accessible and qualified medical care stands as a vital component in preserving overall well-being. Regrettably, women residing in numerous underdeveloped nations often neglect this fundamental necessity. Improving healthcare-seeking behavior (HSB) is considered a vital strategy to optimize the utilization of healthcare services. However, women in the majority of developing countries demonstrate inadequate healthcare-seeking behavior (HSB). This study seeks to evaluate the influence of women's earning status and other socioeconomic factors on their HSB, using data from the Bangladesh Household Income and Expenditure Survey (HIES) 2016. Here we considered those women who were ill and sought any type of treatment during the 30 days of the survey. Based on Andersen’s behavioral model of health services use, this study employed a multinomial logistic regression model. The findings indicate that while women's educational attainment, urban residence, and chronic illness elevate the likelihood of seeking qualified healthcare providers, women who have income are more inclined to seek treatment from a pharmacy/traditional/self-care. These findings underscore the necessity for initiatives aimed at improving the HSB among women who have income and those residing in rural areas

Secure file sharing system with strong password and one time password authentication / Chee Lee Chong and Nur Ziadah Harun
A file-sharing system is a system that allows users to share their files with other users. In the digital age, file-sharing systems have become integral for various sectors, including corporate, educational, and creative fields. Inadequate security measures in file-sharing systems have become a significant concern. Many current systems expose users to unauthorized access and data breaches due to weak authentication methods, such as using simple username and password combinations. Additionally, the lack of a secure password when files are shared through links exacerbates the risk, as unauthorized users can access confidential data without needing a password. This paper presents the development of a secure file-sharing system incorporating strong password protocols and one-time password (OTP) authentication to address vulnerabilities in existing systems. The proposed system ensures robust security by implementing multi-factor authentication, end-to-end encryption, hashing in database and secure session management. The users must provide a strong password and OTP for login, register and reset password process. Key features include user management and comprehensive file management functionalities. The system offers user account management, space management, and user file management, ensuring that administrative controls are in place to manage user activities and storage efficiently. The developed system implements the file management module such as upload, download, rename, move, create folders, and share with password protection. The implementation details and testing results confirm the system's effectiveness in providing a secure and user-friendly file-sharing platform. At the end of this project, the proposed system has achieved the objective of developing a file-sharing system that can share files securely
Students achievement in mathematics: the relationship between performance in Calculus I and Calculus II / Maisurah Shamsuddin, Siti Balqis Mahlan and Norazah Umar
Calculus is among the most important branches of mathematics that is widely used in various fields of science and engineering. It explores changes using basic ideas, including integration, differentiation and limitation. The goal of advanced calculus is to take the basic ideas of calculus to a deeper and more complex level. Basic and advanced calculus have a supportive relationship where learning increasingly difficult problems in advanced calculus requires a solid understanding of basic calculus concepts. Therefore, this study attempts to determine whether the assessment results of engineering students for the subjects calculus I (basic) and calculus II (advanced) have a significant relationship with each other. In addition, student performance in these two subjects was descriptively evaluated. The research sample used was a total of 67 Engineering students who took Calculus I (March - August 23 semesters) and Calculus II (October 23 - February 24 semesters). Students' final assessment scores were taken and analysed using SPSS version 2.0 software through descriptive statistics and Person correlation. Results showed that the performance of students who obtained an A grade in Calculus II had increased by 10% from Calculus I. Based on the Person Correlation analysis, there was a strong positive linear relationship between Calculus I and II with a value of r=0.561 (p-value < 0.05). Although this relationship was significant, only 32.6% of the variation in Calculus II can be explained in this model. It suggests that a wide range of other factors, including learning and teaching strategies used by lecturers or by students themselves, can have an impact on students' performance. Since understanding engineering mathematics necessitates a solid calculus foundation, it is hoped that this study will encourage students to work hard at improving their grasp of the fundamentals of the subjec
SWINDLERT©: development of augmented reality game-based interactivity for enhancing cybercrime awareness / Sakinah Ali Pitchay ... [et al.]
As digital technologies advance, cybercrime has become a primary global concern, posing threats to individuals and organisations. Despite widespread Internet use, public awareness of cybercrime risks is still limited, emphasising the need for educational initiatives. The lack of engaging educational tools for cybercrime awareness is due to outdated, overly technical approaches that fail to captivate modern audiences. Limited investment and collaboration between cybersecurity experts and educational designers result in resources that are not as appealing or user-friendly as they could be. Therefore, this paper introduces SWINDLERT, an augmented reality (AR) game-based tool in a three-dimensional (3D) environment designed to enhance cybercrime awareness and educate users on early prevention. It addresses three key issues: (i) carelessness in sharing credentials, (ii) lack of cybercrime prevention literacy, and (iii) low student engagement in traditional lecture-based education. It has three main objectives: (i) to identify types of cybersecurity crime prevention, (ii) to develop an edutainment AR mobile game with 3D images, and (iii) to evaluate functionality and security. Using Agile methodology, we conduct user requirements through surveys and test the application at SK Teluk Ketapang, Terengganu, and Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia. 98% agree that SWINDLERT has effectively embedded good gamification elements such as levels, scores and timers. Users benefit from password complexity, email verification, and the ability to retrieve their progress on multiple devices. The game features three levels: beginner, intermediate, and hard. This approach blends immersive technology by integrating an AR quiz-based 3D snake and ladder board gamification to transform education, making learning engaging and enjoyable
