An artificial intelligence-based sustainable halalan toyyiban supply chain knowledge dissemination system: the conceptual model

    No full text
The issue involving non-halal products, claimed to be halal has been circulated in the Muslim market and remains unsolved. It would always link to how supply chain management (SCM) may incorporate sustainability and Halalan Toyyiban (HT). Knowledge is the main resource and essential for the organisation and people. Unsuccessfully disseminating knowledge to ensure adherence to the standards of HT across all stakeholders needs to be resolved immediately. This is only a concept paper; hence the purpose of this paper is to reveal that SCM would utilize artificial intelligence (AI), to successfully disseminate knowledge and taking advantage of advanced technology, big data and users. The initial concept was developed by use of a literature review of the AI-based Sustainable Halalan Toyyiban Supply Chain Knowledge Dissemination System (AiBas-HalaToyib-SCKnoDeS). The key concept can be used by organizations in developing AiBas-HalaToyib-SCKnoDeS. The result of AiBas-HalaToyib-SCKnoDeS is an interesting area for fut ure research. However, the current concept of value underlies its offering organizations as a starting point. This conceptual model fills important gaps in ethical and sustainable supply chain management that are in line with Halalan Toyyiban's requirement s, laying the groundwork for further study and real- world application

The adoption of electronic records management system in an organization: a systematic literature review approach

    No full text
This study investigates the key factors influencing the adoption of Electronic Records Management Systems (ERMS) in organizations, with a particular focus on developing countries. Through a systematic literature review (SLR) of 16 high-quality studies, this research identifies 12 critical factors driving ERMS adoption, including relative advantage, compatibility, management support, and government policies. By integrating the Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) framework and Task-Technology Fit (TTF) theory, this study presents a novel, holistic framework for understanding ERMS adoption. The findings highlight the importance of organizational readiness, management support, and training in ensuring successful ERMS adoption. Policymakers, IT vendors, and organizations can leverage these insights to address technical, managerial, and environmental challenges, accelerating ERMS adoption and enhancing operational efficiency

The influence of user-generated content (UGC) and social tagging on corporate reputation in higher education institutions (HEI)

    Get PDF
Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) face increasing competition in attracting students, and corporate reputation plays a vital role. This study examines the impact of user-generated content (UGC) and social tagging on the corporate reputation of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). Despite the recognized importance of social media, limited understanding exists of the specific effects of UGC and social tagging within this context. Using a state-of-the-art review, the research formulates a framework comprising UGC dimensions—corporate image, UGC quality, and UGC trust—and social tagging dimensions—tag contribution, affective social presence, and cognitive social presence. By synthesizing these factors and their interrelationships, the study aims to provide actionable insights for HEIs to enhance their corporate reputation through strategic social media engagement. The findings will guide institutions in leveraging UGC and social tagging to strengthen their reputation and achieve competitive advantages in the digital era

Validation and reliability of reflux symptoms score-12 in Bahasa Malaysia

    Get PDF
Laryngopharyngeal reflux is a prevalent disease. The combined multichannel intraluminal impedance and pH monitoring device is the “gold standard” to diagnose LPR but only available in certain centres. Primary care givers should be equipped with tools applicable everywhere to diagnose and monitor LPR efficiently such as the Reflux Symptoms Score 12 (RSS-12).This study was conducted to develop a Malay version of RSS-12 and to evaluate validity, consistency and reliability of this tool to be applied to the Malaysian population. The English RSS-12 was adapted into Bahasa Malaysia Reflux Symptom Score 12 (M-RSS 12) translated to Bahasa Malaysia by an authorized translator. Content validation was done by 3 expert panels. Face validation performed using the questionnaire rated by 10 respondents from our clinic. A pilot study involving 30 patients was then conducted to determine the feasibility of the study. The item-level content validity index (I-CVI) for all items was 1.0, the scale-level content validity index (S-CVI/Ave) was 1. The item-level face validity index (I-FVI) for all items was 0.95 -1.00 and scale-level face validity index based on the average method (S-FVI/Ave) was 0.99. Both indices of content validity and face validity achieved satisfactory level. For internal consistency, the Cronbach alpha for 3 domains in the MRSS-12 ranged between 0.891-0.928 which showed high reliability. M RSS-12 is practical, valid and reliable to be used among Malaysian population

The properties of sustainable fired clay bricks incorporating eggshell and recycled glass waste / Ahmad Humaidi Abu Hanifah, Natasha Ahmad Nawawi and Maryam Mohammad

    Get PDF
Fired clay bricks have been integral to construction for centuries, valued for their inherent strength and durability. However, the substantial energy demands and greenhouse gas emissions from the high-temperature brick firing process pose pressing environmental concerns. The scarcity of quality clay deposits for brickmaking has also raised fears of resource depletion. Eggshells, comprised of nearly 95% calcium carbonate, undergo a chemical transformation during firing that enhances compressive strength and reduces porosity in bricks. A recent study showed that using eggshell waste to replace clay in brick is positive. Meanwhile, soda lime silica, produced by recycling waste glass, forms a protective glaze-like coating on brick surfaces, lowering required firing temperatures and improving thermal insulation. Different eggshell powder concrete bricks were developed by replacing 0%,5%, and 10% in the clay and soda lime silica mixture to find the best composition of the brick with the desired properties. The enhanced performance of these bricks can be attributed to the inclusion of eggshells in the clay and soda lime silica mixture. As a result, the green approach conserves natural resources while meeting sustainability goals, charting a new course for environmentally responsible brick manufacturing. The findings highlight the potential of utilising eggshells to enhance the properties of clay bricks to improve their characteristic and mitigate waste reduction associated with the egg industry. The study suggests that incorporating eggshell waste into burned clay bricks improves properties and offers a sustainable approach to waste management

An optimum combination of filament material and slicing software in improving the manufacturing performance of 3D-printed parts / Normariah Che Maideen ... [et al.]

    Get PDF
Additive manufacturing, or 3D printing, creating a layer of material to produce three-dimensional objects from computer models. Specifically for Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) that uses filament material, different filament material varies in strength, flexibility, temperature resistance, etc. These factors impact 3D-printed part performance. Apart from filament material, various slicing software that available in the market also influence the manufacturing performance of 3D print parts. Therefore, selecting a correct filament material with suitable slicing software is important. Up to date, the relation between filament materials and slicing software on printed part quality and manufacturing performance is still unknown. Thus, it is necessary to study the manufacturing characteristics of 3D printed parts using different filament materials and slicing software to find the best combinations and parameters for reliable and efficient production of high-quality parts for various applications
