Roller coaster accidents and safety measures in amusement parks : a study of the accidents of “Do Dodonpa”
Get PDFThis study examined the background of roller coaster accidents at amusement parks and the related safety measures based on a study of the “Do Dodonpa” accidents, a coaster-type attraction owned by Fujikyu Highland. Since 2019, multiple accidents involving fractures and other injuries to passengers’ spines have been attributed to “Do Dodonpa”, which has become a serious hazard. From several news articles, I could know that the most important measure by which passengers could avoid accidents was to hold the back of their heads against the head restraint during in starting, since “Do Dodonpa” is characterized by rapid acceleration at the time. Furthermore, although roller coasters are installed and operated in accordance with strict safety standards, both owners and passengers need to be fully aware of the dangers inherent in them. Therefore, I consider it important for owners to thoroughly implement safety measures including not only the maintenance and management of equipment but also the issue of in-depth warnings; passengers must also take the owners’ warnings seriously while enjoying the attractions.本研究は，富士急ハイランドに設置されたコースター型アトラクション「ド・ドドンパ」により生じた事故の検討から，遊園地におけるコースター事故の背景と安全対策に関して考察したものである。2019年以降，「ド・ドドンパ」において，利用者の頸部や背部に骨折などの損傷をきたす複数の事故が発覚し問題となった。「ド・ドドンパ」は発進時の急加速を特徴とするため，事故回避のために最も重要な条件は，発進時の後方シートへの後頭部押し付けによる姿勢保持であると考えられた。コースターは，厳格な安全基準に基づき設置，運行されているが，設置者，利用者ともに，コースターに内在する危険を十分に認識する必要がある。設置者は，設備の保守管理だけでなく十全な注意喚起を含む安全対策を徹底し，利用者は設置者による注意喚起を真摯に受け止めたうえでアトラクションを楽しむことが重要であると考えられた。研究資料departmental bulletin pape
The study of learning effects of online classes on exam scores : the comparison of first-year students’ exam scores from 2018 to 2020
Get PDFThe purpose of this study is to clarify the learning effects of online classes by comparing the exam scores of students. Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, courses in 2020 had been forced to be held online. Although the effectiveness of online classes has been verified, it is mainly assessed by question-naire surveys.
We compared the scores of first-year students who were enrolled in 2018–2019 and 2020 in order to evaluate the online courses objectively. As a result, it was suggested that online classes resulted in a lower learning effect than normal in-person classes. Online classes are expected to be continued, thus, it is necessary to consider how lecturers can give more effective lessons.2020年度以降，新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響により多くの大学でオンライン授業が導入され，その効果についての検証が行われている。しかし報告の多くはアンケート調査によるもので，回答者の主観に頼るところが大きい。
そこで今回，オンライン授業の学習効果を客観的に判断する目的で，整復医療学科で実施している総合試験の結果を用い検証を行った。対面授業を受講した2018，2019年の1年生とオンライン授業のみの受講であった2020年の1年生の総合試験の得点を比較した結果，両者には有意差があり，オンライン授業は対面授業に比べ学習効果が低い可能性が示唆された。
現在の社会状況を考えるとオンライン授業は今後も継続していく可能性があり，ハイブリット型授業も含め，より学習効果の高いオンライン授業の確立が必要と考えられる。短報departmental bulletin pape

Get PDF本稿は，著者が日本体育大学児童スポーツ教育学部並びに日本体育大学大学院教育学研究科に在職中に研究してきた「算数教育における価値観研究」と「算数教育における批判的思考力育成研究」を概括したものである。また，在職中に採択された査読付き論文やSpringerに掲載された論文や博士学位論文や出版本及び科学研究費補助金基盤研究における研究報告書などをまとめ，上記の「算数教育における価値観研究」と「算数教育における批判的思考力育成研究」を概括する際の参考にした。This study is an overview of two studies titled "Research on values in mathematics education" and "Research on critical thinking skills in mathematics education" that I conducted during my tenure at Nippon Sport Science University and the Graduate School of Education.
