Dr Linn Hoffmann joined the Department on 1 August 2014. Her teaching will be in undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Botany, Biology and Marine Science. One of her research areas is the examination of the effect of different environmental stressors and how they affect marine phytoplankton eco-physiology. She will introduce a new course Marine and Freshwater Botany in 2015
