CONSOLE Project - Deliverable 6.1 - "Project website"

    Get PDF
This document consists of Task 6.2 (Website, Hub and communication materials) in the framework of WP6 (Dissemination and outreach) and Deliverable 6.1 Project Website. The main aim will be to boost the impact of the project, through communicating the knowledge and results of the project. The project will target a wide range of audiences in order to link research, evidence-based policy and public awareness. Communication activities, such as workshops, social media accounts and websites have been discussed in this plan as well as identified actors and stakeholders in order to effectively promote innovation in delivery of agri-environmental climate public goods (AECPG) by EU agriculture and forestry. This is a living document and will be continuously updated according to CONSOLE’s progress

Investigating Energization Transients and the Potentiality of Partial Discharge Inception and Damage in Nanofilled Polypropylene Insulation for DC Cables and Capacitors

    Get PDF
New nanostructured insulating materials are investigated, within the European project GRIDABLE, to be used for DC cable and capacitors. Besides electrical, thermal and mechanical properties, and life behavior, work is being done to evaluate their capability to endure highly stressing conditions as those cause by the inception of partial discharges, PD. This paper, in particular, analyzes what happens during energization of a DC cable or capacitors, when voltage goes from zero to the nominal value in a few seconds, while the internal electrical field takes longer time to reach the DC steady state configuration. During an energization transient, indeed, electrical field in insulation, and insulation defects (as cavities), is driven by permittivity, not conductivity as in steady state. Hence, PD might occur with high repetition rate, which would not occur, or at much lower repetition rate, in steady state. The way to evaluate the time constant of the transient, that is, through charging current measurement, is described and successfully fitted to the results of PD measurements performed on two types of polypropylene, PP: neat and nanostructured, and a cross-linked polyethylene, XLPE, having significantly different electrical characteristics

PERCEIVE. WP6. Virtual learning environment. Simulation and modelling data

    No full text
The data set includes data generated by PERCEIVE WP6 (Tasks 6.1, 6.2, 6.3 and 6.4). These tasks refer to simulation, which entails the building and the validation of both a qualitative and quantitative model and of a number of simulation experiments. The nature of the data is mixed. First, the data set includes the strings of codes that are necessary to simulate the mathematical model. Second, the data set includes the numerical parameters necessary to produce specific simulation experiments. Third, the data set makes available the simulation results reported as simulated time series. As for their nature, the data is the outcome of an original modelling effort. The researchers transformed into a mathematical model the knowledge extracted from different sources: data generated by focus groups, data flowing from the survey (PERCEIVE WP1), data extracted from a set of relevant contributions available in the academic and practitioner literature and the workshops in which the simulation model has been tested. Potential users include researchers, students, policy makers as well as others that are interested in using the model to simulate and explore different future scenarios

    GLOBUS-WP3-03-migration-discourseanalysis

    No full text
This data set contains data of five European case studies of narratives of migration and their embedded justice claims within the European Union Migration System of Governance (EUMSG), analyzed within the framework of project GLOBUS. The analysis focuses on the way national newspapers have covered and discussed key political events related to European politics and migration dynamics between 2014 and 2018. The results of this analysis have been published in a special issue of The International Spectator (2019, volume 54, issue 3, pp. 1-106). A corpus of several Italian, French, Hungarian, UK and Norwegian newspapers has been examined. For each national case study data were collected from two weeks before to one week after three key political events between January 2014 – January 2018: • the 2014 European Parliament elections (22-25 May 2014); • the EU-Turkey Statement/agreement/deal (18 March 2016); • a key ‘national moment’ related to migration within the designated timespan: - the end of the Italian Mare Nostrum operation in the Mediterranean, 21 - 28 November 2016 (Italy); - the French 2017 national elections, 9 - 30 April 2017 (France); - the Hungarian “quota referendum”, 17 September - 8 October 2016 (Hungary); - the “Brexit” referendum, 20 - 26 June 2016 (UK); - the “Storskog event”, 16 -30 November 2015 (Norway). Moreover, data from a non-politically relevant period (“eventless”) were collected to be used as a control and to compare narratives of migration and their (potential) politicisation across different contexts

    Get PDF

    Get PDF

    Get PDF
