    Problematyka przyszłego przewidywania stanu technicznego lin w czasie ich eksploatacji jest bardzo istotnym zagadnieniem związanym z bezpieczeństwem użytkowania i obsługi urządzeń. Liny stalowe jako elementy nośne podlegają procesom degradacji przez różnego rodzaju formy zużycia w procesie eksploatacji. Zmienne obciążenia powodują złożony stan naprężeń w drutach, co przekłada się na różne naprężenia rozciągające, skręcające czy naciski powierzchniowe pomiędzy drutami. Liny również narażone są na trudne warunki pracy, np. środowisko korozyjne, zużycie zmęczeniowe, co prowadzi w konsekwencji do osłabienia ich własności użytkowych. Liny jako elementy odpowiedzialne wymagają dokładnego, a zarazem prostego sposobu prognozowania ich bezawaryjnej pracy w prosty i jednoznaczny sposób. Niniejszy artykuł dotyczy zagadnień nowego podejścia do wyznaczania trwałości zmęczeniowej lin stalowych. Tematyka bezpieczeństwa na temat lin stalowych od wielu lat jest zagadnieniem trudnym i niejednoznacznym do wyznaczenia, nie znając trwałości zmęczeniowej obiektu. W artykule omówiono metody doświadczalne i praktyczne do wyznaczania trwałości zmęczeniowej lin stalowych.Krakówwersja wydawnicz

    Huntington’s disease (HD) is a rare, incurable neurodegenerative disorder where fast and non-invasive diagnosis targeting patients’ condition plays a crucial role. In modern medicine, various scientific areas are being combined, such as computing, medicine and biomedical engineering.     The article contains results of numerical tests and an analysis of the operation of a wind turbine with a vertical axis of rotation equipped with air guides. The studies show that the analyzed solution has a higher value of the power factor than the classic wind turbines with a vertical axis of rotation.     In this paper, the developed hardware and software of a microcontroller-based temperature and humidity data logger has been described. The device measures temperature and humidity, displays the temperature and humidity values on an LCD screen, and writes them to a microSD memory card. The microcontroller-based temperature and humidity data logger has a menu that allows users to set up its operation mode. The microcontroller-based temperature and humidity data logger consists of an Arduino Uno R3 board on an ATmega328P-PU microcontroller, an HTU21D digital temperature and humidity sensor, a RobotDyn shield with RTC IC DS1307, and an HD44780 alphanumeric LCD micro SD memory card reader. The electrical circuit of the microcontroller data logger was designed in the Proteus CAD system. An operation algorithm of the microcontroller temperature and humidity data logger was developed. The software modules for communicating with the HTU21D digital temperature and humidity sensor and outputting information to the alphanumeric LCD module (based on the HD44780 controller) have been created, along with the main data-processing software. The model of the microcontroller- based temperature and humidity data logger in Proteus ISIS was created and simulated.     The supply of technologically important rare earth elements (REE) is a concern in Europe, hence the recovery of REE from alternative sources has recently become widely investigated. One of the problems is the lack of cost-effective technologies for REE recovery from leaching solutions. The present work investigated the potential for recovering REE and Th from leaching solutions by co-precipitation with Pb phosphates. A set of four experiments were conducted using analytical reagent grade chemicals to analyze the effects of Pb and different pH on the efficiency of REE and Th removal from aqueous solutions. After selecting the best conditions, two additional experiments were performed using solutions obtained from leaching REE-rich apatite mine waste. The precipitates resulting from the experiments as well as the solutions before and after precipitation were analyzed. It was found that the formation of a crystalline mixture of REE- and Th- enriched pyromorphite, Pb5(PO4)3ClPb_{5}(PO_{4})_{3}Cl, and Pb-phosphates, about which little has been known so far, was responsible for complete (>99%) removal of REE and Th from aqueous solutions at pH 4 and 6. At lower pH, the removal is incomplete except for Sc and Th, which probably form a distinct phases. Besides that, no fractionation of LREE and HREE was observed. The experiments included the study of solutions resulting from the leaching of REE-rich apatite waste, which may contribute to the development of new technologies for REE recovery from wastes.postprin

    A method and algorithm for evaluating the angular and linear velocities of jet nozzles or products are proposed to ensure uniform jet treatment for the curvilinear surfaces of products. This is considered for two cases such as maintaining a constant distance from the nozzle end to the surface and maintaining a constant attack angle. Uniform processing is achieved by adjusting these velocities.
