Discussion on the application of poly(divinylbenzene) adsorbent performance
This study utilized poly(divinylbenzene) (PDVB) to investigate and analyze environmental pollutants. PDVB is a polymer material made from divinylbenzene, possessing high specific surface area and strong hydrophobicity, allowing it to adsorb multiple VOCs simultaneously. In this study, a gas generator was used to produce toluene pollutants at 70 and 100 ppb. Based on toluene penetration patterns and PDVB's adsorption efficiency, a relationship graph was created using the ln[Ct/(C0-Ct)] and penetration time (t). The concentration of 70 ppb reached its operational limit at 480 minutes, while the concentration of 100 ppb lost its adsorption efficiency at 160 minutes due to reaching saturation equilibrium. Using Thomas model and Yoon-Nelson model of column dynamics adsorption, PDVB's maximum adsorption capacity (q0) for concentration of 70 ppb was estimated to be 5623.75 (mg/g), and 3003.88 (mg/g) for 100 ppb. PDVB's half-life (\ucf value) for toluene adsorption is 212.58 minutes for 70 ppb and 88.08 minutes for 100 ppb. The reason for the q0 variation is likely due to the rate of the half-life analyzed from the Yoon-Nelson model, where the higher concentration of 100 ppb results in PDVB being squeezed by gas molecules between the adsorbent and adsorbate during toluene adsorption, leading to a lower q0 value compared to the lower concentration of 70 ppb. PDVB can be used in a self-made Needle Trap Sampler (NTS) to collect VOCs in e-cigarettes, evaluate permissible exposure concentrations of VOCs in workplace settings, and be combined with unmanned aerial vehicles for active sampling and identifying VOCs discharged by factories. Pollutants in industrial areas were collected using UAVs, and analyzed using GC-MS, revealing toluene concentrations of 0.037, 0.0326, 0.4202 ppm, and ND, respectively, in chimneys A, B, C, and D. Ethylbenzene were 0.0276, 0.025, 0.0374, and 0.0133 ppm, respectively. p-xylene were 0.0456, 0.0497, 0.0813, and 0.0197 ppm, respectively, while o-xylene were 0.0554, 0.056, 0.071, and 0.0361 ppm, respectively. Phenol was only detected in chimney C at 0.0227 ppm

The Effects of Quantity Discounts and Environmental Incentive Mechanisms on the Transportation of Bike-Sharing System-Take YouBike for Example
Promoting energy conservation and carbon reduction is a major policy in many countries, and the sharing economy is one of the key strategies. One of the main projects in Taiwan is the bike-sharing system. However, bike-sharing systems will have problems in that no bikes are available for rent or no available parking spaces to return the bikes, and the instability of the number of bikes loaded per trip during traditional transportation results in poor user experience and resource waste. Moreover, the nighttime transportation of bikes near urban regions also generates noise pollution.
This study proposes an incentive mechanism to attract users to return bikes to designated stations or rent bikes from designated stations by offering discounts. This approach is combined with traditional transportation methods to enhance overall transportation efficiency and reduce costs, manpower requirements, and carbon emissions
Numerical Analsysis of coke oven gas and pulverized coal injected through the tuyere into blast furnace by using dual lances
Hydrogen is a carbon-free clean energy and a potential fuel to reduce CO2 emissions in ironmaking blast furnaces (BFs), among which the co-injection of hydrogen/coal is one of the most promising and feasible technologies. In this study, a three-dimensional (3D) steady-state CFD model is used for describing duel-lances fuel injection via tuyere into the raceway of Blast Furnace. The simulation results indicate that the ignition position of the COG hydrogen-rich gas flame will be greatly advanced to near the tip of lance, resulting in an increase in the pressure in the blast tube, increasing the heat load of the blast tube, and affecting the ignition position of the pulverized coal and the raceway. Increasing the cooling gas flow rate of the COG lance can lower temperature on the tip of lances to raceway , but the temperature in the raceway will drop, resulting in lower burnout rate efficiency of pulverized coal. In the oxygen-enriched blast environment, the average burnout rate of pulverized coal is improved, which can improve the problem of the temperature drop in the raceway caused by COG injection. This research numerically analyzes the combustion situation of different types of COG co-injection. COG co-injection will make the flame extend forward to the tip of lance, which will also lead to a decrease in the burnout rate and an excessively high gas temperature in the tuyere. Hot air enriched with oxygen is used. The average burnout rate can be improved, and the temperature in the tuyere can be reduced by increasing cooling gas flow rate of the COG lance. Furthermore, expanding the diameter of COG lance can reduce the velocity of lance tip, reduce the average temperature in the tuyere and increase the high temperature in the raceway; the result of NG injection will reduce the temperature in the raceway and reduce the burnout
An Analysis of Comparative Benefits between Public and Private Land Rezoning - - Taking Renwu District at Kaohsiung as an Example
Abstract
The objective of this research is to compare the differences in the benefits of public and self-operated urban redevelopment. The study focuses on public and self-operated redevelopment in Kaohsiung City, using six major policy evaluation criteria: effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, fairness, responsiveness, and appropriateness. The research aims to understand the categories of public and self-operated redevelopment in Kaohsiung City and explore the differences in benefits between the two approaches. The study further narrows down the scope by focusing on a specific time period (from year 100 to 103) and a particular region, conducting a comparative analysis of two cases of urban redevelopment in Kaohsiung City's Renwu District: the public-operated redevelopment (84th project) and the self-operated redevelopment (55th project).
In this research, interviews are conducted with stakeholders from both the public-operated (84th project) and self-operated (55th project) redevelopment to assess the benefits using the six policy evaluation indicators. The interviews with stakeholders from the public-operated (84th project) reveal that development benefits are largely positive. The public-operated redevelopment has successfully addressed issues with public spaces, met the needs of the community, and improved the overall living conditions after implementation.
On the other hand, the interviews with stakeholders from the self-operated (55th project) redevelopment highlight some negative opinions. The self-operated redevelopment is criticized for its smaller scale and limitations in planning large-scale public facilities, focusing only on the basic land integration.
Based on the comprehensive evaluation using the six major policy indicators, it is determined that public-operated redevelopment yields greater benefits compared to self-operated redevelopment

Exploring the relationship between off-work hours technology assisted job demands and organizational identification: A moderated mediation model
With the rapid development of network technology, mobile technology has improved the convenience of work and life and has changed communication mode between people. Companies are becoming more common to use instant messaging software to deliver work demands during off-work hours. Based on costly signaling theory and social identity theory, this study explores the positive impact of off-work hours technology-assisted job demands on employees, whether it can improve the personal subjective career success and further increase organizational identification. Drawing on the trait activation theory, this study examines whether the employees with perspective taking and workplace friendship in the organization can help them gain a higher sense of subjective career success and identify with their company. The current study collected survey data from full-time employees from different industries at two time periods. After matching the surveys, there were a total of 485 valid respondents for data analyses. The results showed that: (1) Off-work hours technology-assisted job demands significantly positively related to subjective career success; (2) Subjective career success significantly positively related to organizational identification; (3) Subjective career success mediated the relationship between off-work hours technology-assisted job demands and organizational identification; (4) Perspective-taking did not moderate the relationship between off-work hours technology-assisted job demands and subjective career success; (5) The interaction between workplace friendship and perspective-taking moderated the positive relationship between off-work hours technology-assisted job demands subjective career success; (6) Either workplace friendship or perspective-taking had a moderating effect on the relationship between off-work hours technology-assisted job demands and subjective career success, and it had a moderated mediation effect on organizational identification. Based on the findings, this study proposes the implications of theories, research limitations, and suggestions for future researchers
How Aggressive Humor Influences Creativity: The Mediating Role of Constructive Voice and the Moderating Effect of Cultural Values
This study explores how aggressive humor affects communication and creativity in the workplace, and how cultural values (masculine and feminine) play a moderating role in shaping these effects. Data are collected from 228 employees with a three-wave
procedure in Taiwan. It revealed that while aggressive humor can harm workplace communication and creativity, its negative impact on communication is weekend in cultures with higher feminine cultural values. However, the expected role of communication as a bridge between aggressive humor and creativity wasn\ue2t confirmed,
hinting at deeper, unseen factors yet to be explored. This study highlights the importance of recognizing the potential dark side of workplace aggressive humor over employees and their organizations. Based on the results, the implications and limitations of this study and the direction of future research are discussed
Action Research on Applying Partnership Strategies to Enhancing Early Employment Intentions of Involuntary Separation
Under the protection of the Employment Service Law, involuntary separation leavers are entitled to receive unemployment benefits for six to nine months. However, the originally well-intentioned unemployment benefit system brought about the phenomena of involuntary separation leavers' low willingness to take up employment and their dependence on social welfare. Previous studies have focused on the impact of the implementation of the unemployment benefit policy on the transformation and development of employment services, along with the positive effects of the psychological and social support provided to involuntary separation leavers, seldom explored the partnership from the perspective of service design in the context of managerial partnership, and neglected to explore the reasons that affect the enhancement of involuntary separation leavers' intention to take up employment and hinder them from doing so. With a view to promoting and understanding how to enhance the employment intention of the involuntary separation leavers, this study takes the involuntary separation leavers as the target group to explore the factors that hinder the early employment of the involuntary separation leavers and help to clarify the job fit, as well as to promote and observe the intention and behavior of the involuntary separation leavers by using the partnership strategy based on the social support theory and the social exchange theory in the employment counseling. This study adopted an action research methodology, supplemented by in-depth interviews, the study was conducted to establish the relationship between the researcher and the participants, to understand the factors that hinder employment intention and assist in career exploration, and to guide the participants to generate social support and exchange in the partnership strategy with a view to promoting employment intention and behavior. the results of the study revealed that the unemployment allowance and vocational training living allowance in the current employment policy not only weakened the early employment intention of the involuntary separation leavers, but also indirectly caused the involuntary separation leavers to fall into the phenomenon of long-term unemployment; the inclusion of career exploration in the employment counseling helped the involuntary separation leavers to clarify their job preferences and abilities, and then to find the direction of employment; the mutual exchanges among the participants in the partnering strategy did generate social support and exchange. In addition, the resistance of involuntary separation leavers to employment intention is no expectation of work, loss of motivation to pursue work achievement, habitual reliance on social welfare, and poor personal economic conditions. this study suggests that the service units should strengthen the promotion of early employment subsidy information to the involuntary separation leavers and correct the concept of improper claiming to the involuntary separation leavers, and implement the partnership strategy with a view to providing the involuntary separation leavers getting emotional support and enrich the personal resource linkage; furthermore, it is suggested that the method of receiving unemployment benefits should be changed, and the period of applying for vocational training courses should be relaxed for the purpose of avoiding the improper claiming of the unemployment benefits
A Research on "Sanyi Tanyuan" by Jue-Yi Wang
Jue-Yi Wang, also known as Beihai Elderly, is the fifteenth-generation patriarch of the Post East in I-Kuan Tao. He was born and died in the period from Daoguang twelve years \uef\ubc1832\uef\ubc to Guangxu ten years \uef\ubc1884\uef\ubc of the Qing Dynasty. It was the time when Western powers entered China. The Qing government signed many unequal treaties with the western countries and established trade ports. China then opened its closed doors in addition to economic and trade. The influx of Western religious culture soon brought changes and innovations to Chinese traditional culture. In addition, facing the new trend of thought in the West, the ruling class, literati, gentry, and common people have developed multiple thoughts at different levels.
In the late Qing Dynasty, with the influx of opium in large quantities, all social strata were deeply poisoned by opium, and the people's lives were full of misery. Moreover, facing the strong ships and guns of Western countries, and the signing of unequal treaties, the territory was gradually lost, and the territorial waters, justice, and customs duties were lost. The economic aggression of Western countries, as well as the annexation of land by local officials and landlords in the Qing Dynasty, the traditional rural economy was destroyed, and various places took the opportunity to riot one after another. In such an eventful environment, the folk sects at that time were flourishing promoted and the thoughts of folk religious beliefs by Jue-Yi Wang brought comfort and dependence to the people. Although he is in the chaotic and changing environment of the world, Jue-Yi Wang does not shake his heart for practicing and exploring the truth. In his "Zheng Dao Ge", he says :"Once a single thought is not born, not dead, or alive, the spirit then is Buddha. Everything that dwells is an illusion, and there is no attachment or no care to be full of universe. Human affairs are like waves, jumping out of the nest of right and wrong. The Peaceful Bodhisattva always guard by himself. Furthermore, when the five aggregates of color, feeling, thinking, action, consciousness are empty, one will become DaLuo Immortal." In the situation of the turbulent world affairs, Jue-Yi Wang was not only unaffected by foreign thoughts from the West but he also maintained research and respect for traditional Chinese culture. Jue-Yi Wang studies Neo-Confucianism and integrates the thoughts of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, and absorbs the essence of all parties. It played a very important role in the folk beliefs at that time, and the MoHou-YiZhuo religion he created had far-reaching influence.
The origin of "Sanyi Tanyuan" by Jue-Yi Wang is his understanding and admiration after he studied the "I Ching." He believes that the "I Ching" is the ancestor of all the scriptures and the source of all Dharma in the discussion of "no changes", "changes", "transaction", which are to find the original meaning of being born as a human being, and to explain the value of the source of life. In addition, "Sanyi Tanyuan" cites many ancient books and classics, from the practice of eliminating evil to good, as well as the true nature of Wuji, all of which are systematically demonstrated and analyzed. From the remarks and thoughts of the sages in the past, and comparing the habits and ignorance of the people of the time, Jue-Yi Wang quoted the three ages of the Dharma of Buddhism, namely the age of "Right Dharma", the age of "Semblance" and the age of "Degenerate Dharma".
In Jue-Yi Wang\ue2s point of view, he thought that in this sea of desire and under the "Degenerate Dharma" of reincarnation life and death and the truth is dimly discernible; in his book of "Sanyi Tanyuan" is to clarify his understanding of the truth, Tao, and Wuji, solving the confusion for those who do not understand, together with the essentials of self-cultivation and life which are left for further generations
