    Feasibility analysis in the development of MGA in the Greater China

    Since the reform and opening up, China's insurance market has achieved tremendous development and remarkable achievements. In 1980, China resumed its insurance industry, and the development of the insurance industry has maintained a good momentum of sustained, rapid, and healthy development. With the continuous development of China's insurance industry, the role and status of insurance intermediaries have also been elevated, especially among some top insurance intermediaries. MGA, as an emerging insurance intermediary model that has emerged in China in recent years, has become a new breakthrough in the current development process of insurance intermediaries in China. However, the development of the MGA model in China's insurance market has not been smooth sailing, and the problems it faces have also greatly limited its development in China. Especially in the process of development, it has been influenced by relevant national policies and the insufficient capacity of China's insurance industry, which has led to significant challenges for the development of the MGA model in China. In response to the above issues, this article will start from the establishment and working mode of MGA, and use literature research, case analysis, and comparative methods to conduct in-depth research on the current development of MGA insurance mode in China, and provide corresponding optimization plans. Firstly, this article analyzes the current situation of MGA in China and conducts research based on domestic and international MGA development cases. By comparing the current development status of MGA at home and abroad, SWOT analysis is used to conduct more detailed research and analysis on various aspects of the current development process of MGA model in China, in order to identify the reasons for the insufficient development of MGA in China. From the perspectives of insurance companies, insurance markets, governments, and talent team construction, this article starts from four aspects, provide corresponding optimization plans to promote the smooth development of China's MGA model. Through the research in this article, it can be understood that in the current development process of MGA in China, it is not only influenced by the domestic market, but also one of the reasons why the development of MGA model is not smooth enough due to the limitations of relevant policies in China. In response to the above issues, we can objectively analyze the current development situation, adjust development strategies in a timely manner, improve the enterprise development system, and build a talent team to improve the development and optimization of the MGA model in China's insurance market, thereby ensuring the healthy development of China's insurance industry

The study focuses on natural ventilation research, analyzing the impact of screen windows on the home environment quality and development trends. Through various research methods, using a business model canvas to explore how Hiss screen windows impact consumer health, providing value propositions, and analyzing innovative business models from the perspectives of customer relationships, channels, key resources, activities, and partnerships. In addition, Porter's Five Forces Analysis is used to present the industry status, SWOT analysis is used to analyze the company's current situation, and TWOS matrix is used to establish the company's strategic issues for future development. Taking the Hiss brand as a case study, this research explores how to achieve efficient, green, and sustainable product design and manufacturing, with the goal of developing environmentally friendly, energy-saving green building materials products, bringing better benefits to the company's operations, and contributing to the overall industry

    In this paper, we investigate the numerical solutions for a thermal ignition blow-up problem. A semi-implicit numerical scheme is proposed for the computation of the blow-up solutions. We apply the algorithm proposed in [1] to compute the approximate blow-up time and show the convergence of the numerical blow-up time

    Color-Tunable Room-Temperature Phosphorescent Properties of ZnS-MoS2 QDs@PVA with Persistent Afterglow for Advanced Anti-Counterfeiting Applications

    Room-temperature phosphorescent materials with long-lasting afterglow have attracted attention due to their excellent optical properties and are widely used in various fields. In recent years, nanomaterials have gradually replaced traditional phosphorescent materials and improved the original shortcomings. Studies have shown that MoS2 quantum dots (MoS2 QDs) are based on doped with a polyvinyl alcohol matrix, through the interaction of abundant hydroxyl groups on PVA and MoS2 QDs form O-H\ue2\uafS heavy hydrogen bonds, makes the structure of MoS2 QDs firm, inhibiting non-radiative transitions and generating phosphorescence. In this study, ZnS-MoS2 QDs heterogeneous materials were formed by adding Zn ions intercalating into the defects of MoS2 to bond with sulfur to react to improve the photocatalytic efficiency and prolong the characteristics of persistent afterglow. Then, by adding fluorescent organic dyes in ZnS-MoS2 QDs@PVA, the afterglow color can be effectively changed through phosphorescent resonance energy transfer, so the characteristics of afterglow time and color change can be used in advanced anti-counterfeiting and information encryption

    Global warming, climate change, and extreme weather have caused more natural disasters like droughts, wildfires, floods, and typhoons. They have caused significant effects on animals and plants. Global warming is affecting the quality and quantity of crop yield. If countries worldwide do not increase efforts to reduce carbon emissions, the food crisis will be something we must bear. The United Nations announced the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals in 2015, and all countries and industries worldwide strive to respond to this goal. Taiwan's catering industry also recognizes environmental protection and carbon reduction trends. More and more catering industry operators have recently invested in green food and beverage. We are using our capabilities, including using local ingredients, saving energy in the cooking process, and developing leftover meals. We aim to launch environmentally friendly products to attract consumers' attention so they will be willing to support green food and beverage and work together towards sustainable environmental efforts. Take Green Media as an example. Green marketing activities can enhance customers' perceived value to make the green food and beverage industry more prosperous. In Taiwan, consumers' awareness of green consumerism has gradually increased, and the catering industry has begun to have more activities related to this idea. I have been doing in-depth interviews with operators and people promoting green food and beverage ideas for a long time. Questionnaires were designed to see customers\ue2 perspectives. Based on the results, suggestions that were given can be a reference point for the future operation and development of the catering industry

    Nanomaterial semi-solid with self-healing capability for corrosion protection

    Electro-processing of nanomaterials, such as electrospray and electrospinning, are effective methods for generating wide variety of nanomaterial with various morphologies. In this thesis, electrospinning was utilized to generating a flexible Polystyrene nanofiber as scaffolding for anti-corrosion. We have developed this coating that can withstand damage and repair itself, by using nanofibers and oils, a semi-solid coating that acts like a solid when not subjected to external forces, staying firmly on the metal surface. However, when subjected to an external force, it will act like a liquid, driving fibers and oil to flow to the exposed metal parts, and continue to form a protective layer. For small scratches or minor damage, our semi-permanent coating can heal the damage and continue to protect the metal underneath. It can prevent moisture penetrating from the metal surface through pinhole and eroding the metal interior. This automated act can potentially extend the life of metal parts, reduce the number of service cycles, and help organizations save on overall maintenance costs

    Traffic lights have long been the guidance tool for people to follow in our daily life. Although people are so dependent on it, they rarely recognize the development and evolution on traffic signals in Taiwan. With consecutive updating and improvement, we also have the AI systems in recent years. The development of urban is also make the transportation flourish quickly. Between 1974 and 1979, traffic signals were flourishing set up every corner with Ten Major Construction Projects. According to these, the g company was established in the demand for traffic lights' repair, replace and new construction. G company is a traditional industry as well and has gone 50 years. In order to keep up with the changes in transportation policies and urbans in each time, it must have consecutively improve and change. Due to external short-staffed and competition even the new technology emerging face on the traditional industry in recent years, hence, make G have intention to improve the internal personnel and the cost of raw materials in the future. Finally, based on the management strategy for G company, whether this can be the development direction and traffic signals\ue2 engineering application in AI technology and industrial transformation upgrading problems encountered with analyzing and solving. There is a strategy of cross industry collaboration to grow the pie for the short-staffed problem. For the evaluation of technology research and development funds, it claims to seek for the government resources subsidy. For the improvement of technology, apart from learning by doing, it also claims to cooperate with large enterprises then have the chance to success. The thesis focus on the present and problems analysis of traffic signals engineering industry with G company, its contain includes industrial introduction, the history of company, and marketing planning. In addition, use the method of Porter Five Forces Analysis, SWOT analysis and The Second Curve for the strategy analysis. During the situation in maturation and declination happened on G company, it is necessary to make the industrial research and development transformation more intelligent. In the face of an unpredictable environment, learning by doing then constantly adapt based on the original core foundation, find our own proper business routines, and find a way for sustainable operation

    Intra-pulse dynamics in active Q-switched mode-coupled vortex lasers generated in an azimuthal symmetry breaking laser resonator

    In this thesis, the generation of Active Q-switched pulsed vortex laser in an azimuthal symmetry breaking ring resonator are reported using a Nd:YVO4 laser crystal and a 40 MHz Acousto-optical modulator (AOM). When the laser cavity length is 40 cm, by adjusting the pump power and the duty cycle of the 1k Hz-radio frequency (RF) pulse train that drives the AOM, we observe internal structures of within a Q-switched macro-pulses. The intra-pulse internal structure indicates the generation longitudinal modes that are coherently coupled within the Q-switched pulse. Futhermore, by changing the cavity lengths to 53 cm and 62 cm, respectively which support free spectral ranges corresponding to 6 and 7 times the frequency of the RF field driving the AOM, we find more harmonic frequency peaks within the Q-switched pulse. However, due to the possible complex spatio-temporal interactions within the pulse, each harmonic band has broad bandwidth. We subsequently measured the temporal signal of part of the vortex laser and observed the presence of intra-pulse oscillation in addition to mode-coupled signals. The spacing between pulse packets is approximately 25-50 ns, which further affects the peak distribution of the overall spectrum.The spectral peaks deviate from the original frequencies set by the FSR of the laser cavity by 20-40 MHz. As for the overall performance of the vortex pulsed laser output, the output powers under 5.5-watt-pump at cavity lengths of 40 cm, 53 cm and 63 cm are 218 mW, 265 mW and 201 mW respectively. The associated slope efficiencies are approximately 4%, 4.8% and 3.6%. The pulse width can be below 100 ns when the pump power exceeds 3.61 W

    Portfolio construction based on dynamic networks, centrality and weights

    The main focus of this study is to explore the use of financial network models to con- struct dynamic investment portfolios. We employ two methods, the correlation coefficient and the Gaussian kernel function, to calculate the similarity matrix between stocks. The financial network model was constructed using the Minimum spanning tree and the Planar Maximally Filtered Graph. The network\ue2s centrality is calculated using the eigenvectors of the network adjacency matrix. When selecting stocks for investment portfolios, we con- sider multiple methods, including high and low centrality stock selection, \ucf-dependent stock selection, and partial \ucf-dependent stock selection. Asset allocation can also be done using different ways, such as the basic equally weight, the tangency portfolio weight based on modern portfolio theory, the Hierarchical Risk Parity, and weight optimization for the Sortino ratio and the upside/ downside risk ratio. Based on the above stock selec- tion and weighting methods, we employ a dynamically updated approach to adjust the investment strategy for each period. We construct suitable network models, investment portfolios, and weight allocation methods for different periods. An empirical analysis was conducted using the stocks in the S&P100, which included adjusted prices of each stock from 2014/01/03 to 2021/12/30. The results indicate that a dynamic portfolio strategy con- structed with the Gaussian kernel function network obtains the best cumulative returns in the test set

    Work Values or Family Responsibilities? Qualitative Insights into Work and Family Conflict among Females in Taiwan

    This research examines the relationship between instrumental/expressive traits and work and family conflicts in Taiwan, a collectivistic society experiencing shifts towards greater gender-role egalitarianism. This study explores the experiences of work and family conflict with eight career females who have young children, offering insights into how low expressive females perceive their work and family roles, as well as the internal struggles and decision-making processes when females with low expressive and/or high instrumental traits experiencing work and family conflicts. Findings highlight the emotional complexities these females face, often torn between pursuing career fulfillment and feeling guilty over perceived failure in maternal roles. As society's expectations prioritize maternal duties, these females sometimes make sacrifices in their career progression, thereby curbing their self-actualization and economic growth. This study posits that the dilemmas are a result of societal changes and structures. To truly alleviate the predicaments, the approach to conflict resolution needs to be elevated to the levels of family, labor market, and social welfare. By implementing family-friendly measures equitably, companies can attract talents, boost productivity, and increase job satisfaction, thereby creating a win-win situation for both employees and employers
