A study on the perception, attitude, and behavior of hospital staff on the introduction of ISO quality control system
Background:The International Organization for Standardization(ISO) introduced the first set of quality management system standards (ISO 9000) in 1987, garnering global attention and signifying a consensus on the concept of quality. Subsequently, Europe incorporated ISO 9000 as a benchmark for enterprise quality, fostering the global \ue2ISO trend\ue2. Against this backdrop, healthcare institutions adopted ISO management systems to enhance service quality, streamline processes, and bolster risk management.
Purpose: Based on previous research indicating that the effective implementation of ISO management systems involves not only a solid organizational foundation but also active employee participation as a crucial factor, this study aims to explore the perceptions, attitudes, and behavioral characteristics of healthcare institutions employees towards ISO management systems under the context of long-term implementation. Additionally, the study seeks to investigate the impact of relevant factors on the implementation of ISO management systems.
Method: This study focuses on employees from a medical center in the southern region. To ensure participation and consistency, we targeted employees who were still employed in 2023 and had completed at least one year of service. Employing a stratified random sampling approach, we selected samples from four job categories: physicians, nursing staff, other medical personnel, and administrative personnel. Ultimately, we collected 300 valid questionnaires (an 86% responese rate).
Results: The study revealed significant differences among job categories, specifically in the perceptions, attitudes, and behaviors towards the ISO management system for other medical personnel and administrative staff. Similarly, holding a supervisory position significantly influenced the perception and behaviour towards the ISO management system. Additionally, employees with 11-15 years and 21 or more years of experience exhibited differences in their cognitive performance. Those with 11-15 years of experience displayed variations in attitude, while employees with 16-20 years of experience exhibited differences in behavior. Participation in ISO-related activities also significantly impacted cognitive perceptions and behaviors. Lastly, a positive correlation emerged between employees\ue2 perceptions, attitudes, and behaviors towards the implementation of the ISO management system.
Conclusion: The implementation of the ISO management system is a crucial avenue for hospitals to enhance their image, ensure stable quality, and deliver high-quality services. Hospital employees play a pivotal role as the primary implementers of the ISO management system, where their perceptions, attitudes, and behaviors significantly influence the project\ue2s success. Hospitals should tailor their approach by considering the characteristics and needs of their employees, providing necessary guidance and training, elevating their awareness and support for the ISO management system. Simultaneously, it's essential to establish robust motivation and reward mechanisms, encouraging active employee participation in the implementation of the ISO management system. These collaborative effort aims to collectively forge a new realm of superior hospital quality and patient satisfaction

Electrochemical detection of acetaminophen using reduced graphene oxide-encapsulated cobalt zeolite imidazole framework derived porous carbon (Co-ZIF-8@rGO)
Compared to the conventional chromatography, the electrochemical method has several merits, including rapid response time, low cost, and simplicity as portable device in the determination of pharmaceutical pollutants in the environment. Composite of zeolite imidazolate framework and reduced graphene oxide, Co-ZIF-8@rGO, and its derived carbon material were synthesized for electrochemical sensing of acetaminophen (APAP). The composite electrode present cubic crystallites of Co-ZIF-8 wrapped in a single-layer graphene film. Voltammetry results showed that the Co-ZIF-8@rGO had an oxidative current response for APAP at a working potential of +0.5 V (vs. Hg/HgO). The highly porous Co-ZIF-8@rGO(800) formed by heating the composite at 800\ue2 in nitrogen atmosphere significantly improved the faradaic current APAP oxidation. The effective area AECSA followed the order: Co-ZIF-8@rGO(800) (1.21cm2) > ZIF-8@rGO(800) (0.81cm2) > GCE (0.27cm2), indicating that the modification with Co and rGO increased the active sites for sensing pollutants. The numbers of electron transfer for APAP oxidation on GCE, ZIF-8(800), and Co-ZIF-8@rGO(800) were estimated to be 0.62, 0.32, and 2.17, respectively. It is expected that the Co-ZIF-8@rGO(800) altered the sensing mechanism of APAP on the GCE substrate. The results of chronoamperometry suggested that the tested electrode selectivity for a solution containing 300 \uef\uadM APAP and complex ions remained within a range of 5% of variations. In real samples of, The voltammetry also showed that the oxidation overpotential of APAP using Love River water and tap water as background electrolyte did not vary too much compared to a deionized water, and the variation of peak current was within 5%. The electrochemical sensing APAP using a differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) mode achieved a high linearity of concentration 2-30 \uce\ubcM and sensing current, which exhibited a calibration slope of 0.5858 \uce\ubcA/\uce\ubcM with a correlation coefficient of 0.9979, detecting limit of 0.17 \uef\uadM, and recovery of 102 %
Study of improving the recovery efficiency of metallic cobalt in lithium batteries by using deep eutectic solvent and electrodeposition method
With the popularization of electronic products and electric vehicles, the output of lithium batteries has grown significantly. However, due to their short lifespan, which is 1-3 years, a huge amount of waste lithium batteries are also produced. If these waste lithium batteries are not properly recycled, its large amount of heavy metal substances will pose a threat to the environment and human health, and valuable precious metals (lithium, cobalt, etc.) cannot be reused either. The new deep eutectic solvent (Deep Eutectic Solvent, DES) has the advantages of low price, easy preparation and no secondary pollution, and has attracted international attention and research in recent years. DES synthesized with alcohols and acids as hydrogen bond donors (Hydrogen Bond Donor, HBD) has higher solubility for metal oxides. In addition, the microwave system can heat the internal sample uniformly and rapidly by rapidly transferring radiant energy. Compared with traditional oil bath heating, the energy transfer efficiency is higher, the heating time is relatively reduced and the metal dissolution efficiency is increased.
In this study, DES prepared with choline chloride, ethylene glycol, and malonic acid was used to analyze and compare the dissolution efficiency of cobalt through a closed microwave heating system. The experimental results showed that the best dissolution efficiency were 95.7% and 85.3%, respectively. Cobalt metal and its hydroxide are precipitated out by changing electrode plates with different resistances (copper, iron, titanium), adding different reducing agents (none, glucose, saccharin) and adjusting the current density (5-25 mA/cm2). Finally, through the design of experiments (Design of experiment, DOE), the best experimental operating parameters such as electrode plate, reaction time, current density and reducing agent addition amount are obtained, and the optimal purity parameters are discussed and economic benefit evaluation is carried out. Under the optimal experimental operating conditions, using titanium metal electrode plate, adding glucose reducing agent 30 g/L and current density 25 mA/cm2, reacted for 8 hours, the recovery rate of cobalt reached 89.5%, and its purity reached more than 97%
The Relationships among Exploitive Entitlement and Voice Behavior in Public and Private Situations: Self-interest and the Need of Uniqueness as Mediators and Impression Management as a Moderator
In recent years, there has been a rising trend in employees' sense of entitlement in the workplace, leading to increased attention from businesses towards the issue of entitlement. Despite limited previous research distinguishing entitlement based on characteristics, and the majority of studies have focused on exploring the negative impacts of employee entitlement of their organizations, recent scholars have pointed out that employees with entitlement traits might also have positive impacts on the organization. In light of this, this study aims to investigate the effects of employees with exploitive entitlement traits in the workplace and the associated mechanisms.
This study examined the relationship among exploitive entitlement, self-interest orientation, need for uniqueness, and voice behavior in both public and private situations. Additionally, this study assessed the impact of impression management - self-promotion strategies on the relationship between the need for uniqueness and voice behavior in both public and private situations. This research utilized a two-stage online questionnaire to gather the required sample data and ultimately focused on 213 full-time employees from various industries who had superiors. Mplus 7 and SPSS 25 are used as statistical analysis tools to examine the mediating and moderating effects in the study. The research findings indicated that in public settings, self-interest orientation and the need for uniqueness mediated the relationship between exploitive entitlement and voice behavior. In private settings, self-interest orientation mediated the relationship between exploitive entitlement and voice behavior, while impression - self-promotion strategies management enhanced the relationship between the need for uniqueness and voice behavior. Furthermore, impression management - self-promotion strategies also strengthened the mediating effect of the need for uniqueness on the relationship between exploitive entitlement and voice behavior. Based on the research results, the study concludes by providing practical management recommendations for businesses
The Antecedents for EMI programme university students perceived graduate employability
Purpose: To assess potential antecedents of students\ue2 educational experiences in predicting perceived graduate employability and perceived graduate international employability, this study proposes three mediation models encompassing three key stages: educational experience, skills and traits, and outcome factors. Specifically, model 1 examines how students\ue2 perceived EMI effectiveness and multicultural experience predict their perceived graduate employability (PGE) through the mediating factors of intercultural interaction competence, teamwork skills, and grit. Model 2 investigates how perceived EMI effectiveness and multicultural experience predict perceived graduate international employability (PGIE) through intercultural interaction competence, teamwork skills, and grit. Model 3 explores how interdisciplinary experience and service-learning experience predict perceived graduate employability through communication skills, problem-solving skills, and adaptability. Comparison between studies 1 and 2 to shed light the determinants predict students perceived graduate employability (PGE) and graduate international employability (PGIE).
Design/methodology/approach: Data was collected using structured surveys and purposive sampling from 312 Vietnamese and 283 Taiwanese undergraduate students majoring in business. SPSS 24 and SMARTPLS software was utilized for data analysis.
Findings: The models explain how EMI university students\ue2 graduate perceived employability and graduate perceived international employability are developed. They indicate the factors involved in shaping students\ue2 perceptions, determines levels of effects, and ensure statistically valid and reliable measures for each factor.
Practical implications: The implications encompass a variety of approaches, such as curriculum development, faculty training, and student preparation.
Originality/value: This present study aims to contribute to the EMI and graduate employability literature by shedding light on how diversity educational experiences - such as perceived EMI effectiveness, interdisciplinary experience, multicultural experiences, and service-learning experience - can enhance skills and traits and graduate employability among students in Vietnam and Taiwan. As globalization and collaborative transnational institutions continue to rise in these countries, the study's findings and implications hold significant potential to offer valuable recommendations for better preparing graduates to succeed in a global economy

The petrochemical industry has brought rapid development to the industry, but it has also brought environmental catastrophe. In 1987, the United Nations World Commission on Environment and Development (WCED) defined "sustainable development The spirit of it is: "while meeting the needs of the present, without compromising the needs of future generations to meet their own needs", and this goal still has a lot of room for countries around the world to work hard. In order to achieve the goal of net zero carbon emissions in 2050, my country's petrochemical industry is bound to give priority to carbon reduction, which will bring a boost to small and medium-sized enterprises.
Flare is commonly used in the petrochemical industry to deal with excess fuel gas and adjust the pressure of the fuel gas system by means of combustion. For oil refining plants, fuel gas is one of the most valuable recovered energy sources. The case plant added two sets of fuel gas recovery systems (FGRS) in 1994, and the daily processing capacity of the original combustion tower was 400 kNm3, reduced to zero emissions under normal operating conditions. According to statistics, the average calorific value of FGRS drops by about 2000~6000 kcal/Nm3. The purpose of this study is to increase the recovery volume of the fuel recovery system and analyze the reasons for the pressure imbalance of the fuel gas system. The time recovery effect is compared with recovery rate can be increased by about 3% for every 1\uc2\ub0C increase in temperature.
The current annual waste gas discharge of the case plant to Flare is about 3,500 kNm3. Due to the strict operation specifications of flare, and in order to achieve the goal of net zero carbon emission in 2050, the goal of zero emission from the flare is imminent. Underwater image color correction based on light field guided rendering network
In recent years, with the rapid development of ocean engineering and underwater vehicles, the improvement of underwater image quality has played a key role in the advancement of underwater activities. However, obtaining clear underwater images has always been a challenging problem in ocean engineering. Phenomena such as scattering and blurring can make it difficult to reproduce accurate underwater colors, affecting the accuracy of exploration and object detection. At present, most of the existing underwater color correction networks based on CNN and GAN require a large number of parameters for calculation and rely on complex computing power equipment, which hinders the deployment of underwater exploration tasks on portable devices. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to design a color correction method to enhance the quality of underwater images. To achieve this goal, we propose a novel deep learning-based framework for underwater color correction. We first utilize our designed light field module to predict the background light field from the input underwater image. We then feed the predicted light field together with the target image to an autoencoder for color correction. This produces a corrected light field map, which is further used by the rendering network to restore the true colors of underwater images. Furthermore, to ensure that the rendered image remains undistorted, we incorporate contour information from the input image, enabling our rendering network to preserve the essential details of the original image. The experimental results show that our method enhances the visual quality of captured underwater images compared to relevant international benchmarks, thereby further helping underwater exploration tasks

Study on the Delamination Factors and Adhesion Improvement for Fine Pitch Photoresists Patterns in Fan-out Packaging Process
The study aims to investigate factors influencing adhesion differences in the photolithography process using the same substrate material and conditions. Photolithography, previously used in manufacturing large-scale integrated circuits (VLSI), has now been adopted in advanced packaging technologies like fan-out wafer-level packaging (FOWLP). In FOWLP, reconstructed wafers with epoxy molding compounds may cause significant wafer warpage. Previous research focused on miniaturizing integrated circuits and enhancing adhesion using hexamethyldisilazane (HMDS) as an adhesion promoter. However, limited research addresses adhesion in FOWLP or the challenges in the backend process. This study analyzes unexpected photoresist delamination in FOWLP. Specifically, it identifies stress-induced by varying soft baking temperatures as the main factor behind delamination. This stress leads to substantial changes in wafer warpage causing photoresist delamination in specific area of the reconfiguration wafers. Utilizing a photoelastic system, residual stress is indirectly measured, showing an impact of principal 3.23 MPa. Additionally, differences in wafer warpage on both side of the wafers further support the notion that temperature-induced residual stress triggers wafer warpage, leading to photoresist delamination. Simultaneously, benzotriazole(BTA) is introduced an adhesive agent between copper wafer and photoresist. Immersed in a 1:8 concentrated TMAH solution for 90 s, the results indicated BTA primer causes the least damage to the photoresist, compared to no primer or HMDS primer application. This suggest BTA has the potential to enhance adhesion between the photoresist and copper wafer, offering a solution to mitigate photoresist delamination in highly warped wafers
