Bedeutung und Verständnis von Wertschöpfung
Der Begriff „Wertschöpfung“ ist für die Corporate Governance in Deutschland von herausragender Bedeutung, da er im Deutschen Corporate Governance Kodex (DCGK) als Handlungsmaxime für Vorstand und Aufsichtsrat genannt wird. Gleichzeitig gibt es weder im DCGK noch in den darauf verweisenden Gesetzen eine Erläuterung, was unter Wertschöpfung zu verstehen ist. In den betriebswirtschaftlichen Teildisziplinen wie auch in der Unternehmenspraxis wird der Wertschöpfungsbegriff zudem in zahlreichen unterschiedlichen Kontexten verwendet. Vor diesem Hintergrund wurden nicht-kapitalmarktorientierte deutsche Unternehmen, die den DCGK auf freiwilliger Basis beachten können, zur Bedeutung und zu ihrem Verständnis von Wertschöpfung befragt

Production Data Set for five-Axis CNC Milling with multiple Changeovers
Abstract
This data descriptor contains information about an extensive production data set for a five-axis CNC milling process. Three geometrically different products were manufactured and relevant features from the numerical control of the machine were recorded. The recorded manufacturing process contains the preparation of the machine for the next product (changeover) as well as the machining process (production). The experimental manufacturing was organized with the aid of a changeover matrix to ensure that all possible changeover combinations for the three products were considered. The production was repeated five times, resulting in 30 manufacturing sessions and five complete changeover matrices. The data set was recorded in a laboratory environment. A rich feature set including i.e. the NC-code of the products, tool information, and a Jupyter notebook is provided with the data set

Smotrom tvoja på ander drogoj verden! Resurrecting Dead Pidgin with Generative Models: Russenorsk Case Study
Russenorsk, a pidgin language historically used in trade interactions between Russian and Norwegian speakers, represents a unique linguistic phenomenon. In this paper, we attempt to analyze its lexicon using modern large language models (LLMs), based on surviving literary sources. We construct a structured dictionary of the language, grouped by synonyms and word origins. Subsequently, we use this dictionary to formulate hypotheses about the core principles of word formation and grammatical structure in Russenorsk and show which hypotheses generated by large language models correspond to the hypotheses previously proposed ones in the academic literature. We also develop a “reconstruction” translation agent that generates hypothetical Russenorsk renderings of contemporary Russian and Norwegian texts
Human-Centered State-of-the-Art GenAI for Agriculture
This chapter explores the role of generative AI in transforming Indian agriculture focusing on a multilingual AI chatbot designed specifically to assist them. The paper introduces motivation and core challenges that led to the development of AgroNeuBot. It describes the human-centric design approach and implementation, including its multilingual capabilities and agricultural domain-specific features. Based on that, the complexities of developing future-proof solutions amid uncertainty and diversity as well as needs for the technical architecture are addressed. The processes for maintaining and updating the system's knowledge base are highlighted and complemented with special needs for user guidance with focus on user-centered design and cultural sensitivity. The paper concludes with an outlook on future developments for AgroNeuBot and in general, emphasizing the need for an underlying didactical model to make the AI implementation useful and future proof
Strengthening Future Skills with Spiritual Intelligence: From Worldview to Sustainability
This article shows in brief a course format that aimed to combine sustainability challenges with students' personal and spiritual values and, building on this, to develop collaborative, self-sustaining sustainability solutions for the real world. The vision and objectives, approach, challenges, experiences and conclusions of the course project, in which international students from different disciplines and refugee students were connected, are thematized. Based on the teaching experiences and beyond, the authors derived a student’s survey mainly in Germany, Morocco and India to find out about the role of personal values, spirituality and sustainability as well as teaching formats for those topics and students’ preferences of teaching formats. The article shows the results and draws conclusions on how to best implement sustainability teaching formats linked with personal values of students
