Titanium compounds and their impact on the transformation of air pollutants
No full textTyt. z nagłówka.Bibliogr. s. 221-222.Titanium, as a transition metal, demonstrates a high mechanical strength. It is light and corrosion resistant. The estimation of the environmental impact of the use of machine parts that grains are freed from and contact the surface of titanium alloys by wear is buffing. Due to its catalytic action, TiO2 is nowadays added to asphalt, concrete, exterior paints for elevation, self-cleaning glass and protective coatings. It is also present in clothes, food (E171), cosmetics (CI 77891) and textiles. The research on the toxicity of titanium and its compounds points towards their neutral character, however an adverse impact is also observed in nature. TiO2 may affect air quality. It promotes free radicals and ozone origination. The geotourist attractions in the vicinity of Szczawnica spa

These objects are presented with short geological/geomorphological remarks about their origin, development and significance in natural sciences. About accuracy of calculating deviations of plumbing lines in the region of international research geodetic polygon of the Western Alps
No full textTyt. z nagłówka.Bibliogr. s. 93-94.Praca dotyczy niektórych metod obliczania odchylenia linii pionu w aspekcie prawidłowości obliczania wartości oraz możliwości wykorzystania wysoko dokładnych modeli geopotencjału do obliczania odchyleń linii pionu. Podjęto próbę określenia rzędu wartości pierwszych poprawek Mołodeńskiego z wykorzystaniem przybliżenia wysokości quasi-geoidy i odchylenia linii pionu w regionie górskim w międzynarodowym obszarze badań geodezyjnych w rejonie Alp Zachodnich. Uzyskane różnice między prawdziwymi i obliczonymi składowymi odchyleń linii pionu można wyjaśnić błędami astronomicznych wyznaczeń składowych odchyleń linii pionu podlegających wpływowi zerowego i pierwszego przybliżenia pola anomalii. Różnice między modelowymi i prawdziwymi składowymi odchyleń linii pionu można uzasadnić nieuwzględnieniem wpływu strefy centralnej pola anomalii.This work is generalization of some methods for calculating deviations of plumbing lines from a perspective of accuracy of their values calculation and possibilities to use high accuracy models of geopotenthial for calculating deviations of plumbing lines. There was done attempt to determine the order of the value of the first corrections of Molodensky into Stoke approximation of quasigeoid heights and deviations of plumbing lines in the mountain region of the International research geodetic testing area in the region of Western Alps. Established discrepancies between true and calculated components of plumbing line deviations can mainly be explained by errors of astronomic determinations as components of plumbing line deviations includes influence of the zeroth and first approximation of field of anomalies. No full textTyt. z nagłówka.Bibliogr. s. 54-[55].Zmieniająca się przestrzeń miejska pod wpływem procesów rewitalizacji zaniedbanych obszarów poprzemysłowych zajmuje ważne miejsce w refleksji nad pozycją osób niepełnosprawnych we współczesnych miastach. Społeczne definicje niepełnosprawności przenoszą odpowiedzialność za marginalizację osób niepełnosprawnych z poziomu jednostkowego na poziom makrospołeczny. Upatrują przyczyn wykluczenia tej kategorii społecznej nie w deficytach fizycznych, zmysłowych i psychicznych, z jakimi zmagają się osoby niepełnosprawne, tylko w barierach o charakterze infrastrukturalnym i społecznym wynikających z organizacji społeczeństwa. W takiej perspektywie pełne włączenie osób niepełnosprawnych w główny nurt życia miasta, na równych prawach z osobami sprawnymi umożliwi nie tyle funkcjonalne usprawnianie tej kategorii, ile zniwelowanie istniejących ograniczeń. Celem artykułu jest ukazanie zależności między modernizacją przestrzeni miejskiej dokonującą się pod wpływem jej deindustrializacji a aktywnością osób niepełnosprawnych. Opisany przykład ma charakter dobrej praktyki związanej z pełnym otwarciem przestrzeni muzealnej na rewitalizowanym obszarze Zabłocia w Krakowie dla tej kategorii społecznej. W tym kontekście chciano pokazać relację pomiędzy udostępnieniem dla osób niepełnosprawnych wybranej przestrzeni miasta a charakterem ich uczestnictwa w niej.The changing urban space occupies an important place in the eyes of people with disabilities in society today. Social definitions of disability carry responsibility for the marginalization of people with disabilities from the inadequacy of the individual arising from their physical deficits, to the level of macrosocial in changing attitudes, negative stereotypes and removing barriers in public space and social. The main aim of this article is therefore to show the relationship between the availability of specific urban space for the disabled, and made contemporary post-industrial revitalization areas. These investments are carried out in an era when human rights and equal access to space in the city are to be borne by the active environment are disabled and legitimation in the legal acts adopted by our country. Therefore, using the examples chosen deliberately wanted to show how the transformed spaces are available for disabled people.
