Video mapping is a motion picture artwork projected on the building as a screen. In the Jogja Video Mapping Project “SUMONAR” In the Jogja Video Mapping Project “SUMONAR” 2019 it can be seen the presence of sign commodification that led to the visualization of imaginative forms. The surrealism style has inspired the creation of character transformations which bring the audience into the imaginative subconscious. The writing method uses intertextuality method. Connecting between the hypogram text that has been memorized with the trending visual fantasy text changes displayed in the video mapping. The findings of this research indicate that Surrealism is not only a commodification of the form transformation, but also the substance transformation.
ABSTRAK
Video mapping adalah karya seni gambar bergerak yang diproyeksikan pada bangunan sebagai layar. Pada event Jogja Video Mapping Project “SUMONAR” 2019 terlihat adanya komodifikasi tanda yang mengarah kepada visualisasi bentuk imajinatif. Gaya surealisme telah menginspirasi terciptanya trans-formasi karakter yang membawa penonton masuk ke alam bawah sadar imaginatif. Metode penulisan ini menggunakan metode intertekstualitas. Mengaitkan antara teks hipogram yang pernah dikenang dengan perubahan teks tren fantasi visual yang ditayangkan dalam video mapping. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa surealisme tidak hanya sebatas komodifikasi transformasi bentuk, akan tetapi terjadi juga trasformasi substansi.Kata Kunci: surealisme, video mapping, hipogram, intertekstualita
