Success Probability of Start-up & Mature Companies

    No full text
Innovation and successful companies are generally recognized as the majorunderlying drivers of long-run economic growth. Every enterprise has a critical role to play in this process, through introducing new innovations to the market, generating employment, and spurring competition with existing firms. This report aims to provide practitioners with tangible, actionable ideas for integrating cluster, entrepreneurship, and economic development strategies. A framework to identify key areas for improvement for entrepreneurs and enterprisers is also presented

Assessment of Innovation Styles to Create Innovation Driven Enterprises

    No full text
Managing and exploiting to the best effect all kinds of innovation represents a major challenge to businesses due to quickening pace of change and increased competitiveness as more countries industrialize. Young and innovative companies are the hopes of economic and technology policy. This report explores the actual change of innovation style in the transformation from a start-up to a more mature phase of business in greater detail. Some of the major drivers for innovation and success are discussed. This offers a framework for entrepreneurs and enterpriser to identify crucial factors and capability for innovativeness

Causes of Missing Dots in Rotogravure Printing

    No full text
This work has shown that the number of local defects (craters) beyond certain limit values correlates very well with the number of missing dots, and therefore the surface topography of the paper has definitely the greatest impact on printability in rotogravure. The deepenings have an average depth of 2-5 µm and diameters between 50-250 µm. When ESA is used bigger craters as regards depth and diameter are necessary to cause missing dots. However, not all missing dots can be explained and described by means of surface topography. Non-topographic factors, such as electric properties of papers (especially when using the ESA), fibre and filler distribution, ink absorbency or microscopic compressibility can also have an influence on printability as regards missing dots. Paper independent factors (e.g. printing ink or printing machine) may also have a certain influence on missing dots

Causes of Missing Dots in Rotogravure Printing

This work has shown that the number of local defects (craters) beyond certain limit values correlates very well with the number of missing dots, and therefore the surface topography of the paper has definitely the greatest impact on printability in rotogravure.
