    Web application for management of a football club

    U ovom završnom radu, napravljena je web aplikacija za upravljanje nogometnim klubom. Cilj ove web aplikacije je omogućiti korisniku aplikacije upravljanje nogometnim klubom time što ima mogućnost pregleda igrača nogometnog kluba, dodavanje i brisanje igrača, pregleda statistike pojedinačnog igrača te sve to uz optimalan responzivan dizajn. Teorijski dio završnog rada se temelji na objašnjenju svih tehnologija i programskih jezika koji su bili korišteni u izradi. U praktičnom dijelu je prikazan i opisan izgled te funkcionalnost web aplikacije. Za izradu aplikacije upotrijebljeni su: Angular, Angular Material, Spring Boot, TypeScript, SCSS, HTML te razvojno okruženje IntelliJ IDEA.In this final paper, a web application for managing a football club was developed. The goal of this web application is to allow the user to manage the football club by providing the ability to view players of the club, add and delete players, and review individual player statistics, all with an optimal responsive design. The theoretical part of the final paper is based on explaining all the technologies and programming languages used in the development. The practical part presents and describes the appearance and functionality of the web application. The technologies used for developing the application include Angular, Angular Material, Spring Boot, TypeScript, SCSS, HTML, and the integrated development environment called IntelliJ IDEA

    Mikroservisna arhitektura je jedna od modernih i popularnih arhitektura softvera. Često je korištena jer omogućuje razvoj aplikacije kao grupe raspodijeljenih servisa koji zajedničkom suradnjom pružaju kompletnu uslugu koju nudi cijela aplikacija. Neki od primjera aplikacija koje se zasnivaju na mikroservisnoj arhitekturi su i aplikacije za rezerviranje smještaja, poput Airbnb i Booking.com. U svrhu prikaza prednosti navedene arhitekture, ali i kako bi se predstavili izazovi u izradi iste u ovom diplomskom radu izrađena je jednostavna aplikacija za rezervaciju smještaja. U tu su svrhu detaljno definirani zahtjevi na aplikaciju te njezina strukture. Aplikacija je izrađena u Java programskom jeziku upotrebom programskog okvira Spring Boot. Također, korišten je alat za upravljanje projektima Maven kako bi se dodatno pojednostavio proces izrade aplikacije. Komunikacija između servisa obavlja se sinkrono putem definiranih REST API-ja te asinkrono putem brokera RabbitMQ. Brigu o korisnicima vodi autorizacijski poslužitelj Keycloak koji osigurava pristup aplikaciji upotrebom JSON Web Tokena. Baza podataka napravljena je pomoću PostgreSQL sustava za upravljanje bazama podataka, dok je za verzioniranje i migracije odgovoran alat Flyway. Koristeći Docker spremnike pokreću se sustavi RabbitMQ, Keycloak i PostgreSQL. Aplikacija je vrednovana pozivanjem implementiranih metoda i time je pokazano kako aplikacija ispunjava funkcionalne zahtjeve.Microservices architecture is a modern and popular software architecture. It is often chosen because it enables the implementation of an application as a collection of distributed services, whose mutual cooperation provides the full service intended by the application. Notable examples of accommodation booking applications developed using microservices architecture include Airbnb and Booking.com. This architecture's advantages, as well as some challenges encountered during its development, are highlighted in a master's thesis, for which an accommodation booking application was developed. Detailed requirements for this application were established, covering both its structure and functional needs. The application was developed in the Java programming language, utilizing the Spring Boot framework. The Maven automation tool was selected to simplify the application building process. Communication between services is facilitated synchronously through REST API calls and asynchronously via the RabbitMQ broker. User management is handled by Keycloak, which employs JSON Web Tokens for authorization. The database is managed using the PostgreSQL Database Management System, with Flyway overseeing versioning and migrations. Docker containers are utilized to deploy RabbitMQ, Keycloak, and PostgreSQL. The application was evaluated by testing the implemented methods, confirming that all functional requirements were met

    U doktorskom radu detaljno su istražene različite topologije dvosmjernih pretvarača, s fokusom na njihovu primjenu u baterijskim sustavima za pohranu energije. Posebna pažnja posvećena je dvostupanjskoj izvedbi s kaskadnim spojem istosmjernog pretvarača napona i usmjerivača. Rad analizira višegranski dvosmjerni pretvarač istosmjerne struje, za koji je razvijen detaljan matematički model. Analiza obuhvaća uzlazni i silazni režim rada, dok je osnovni matematički model proširen modelom pretvarača s radnim gubicima. Na temelju razvijenog modela odabrane su komponente za stvarni pretvarač, koji je zatim ostvaren u fizičkoj izvedbi. Proračuni gubitaka temeljeni na modelu s radnim gubicima doprinijeli su dizajnu matematičkog toplinskog modela odabranog pretvarača. Ovaj model je ključan za simulacijsko modeliranje u Typhoon HIL okruženju i kasniju implementaciju naprednijih algoritama. Utjecaj promjene broja grana istosmjernog pretvarača na električne i toplinske karakteristike također je dokumentiran. Koristeći matematički model kao osnovu, konstruiran je simulacijski model. Početni model u otvorenoj petlji evoluirao je u regulirani model preko dvostruke petlje nakon implementacije PID regulatora. Uključen je i simulacijski toplinski model, temeljen na prethodno razvijenom matematičkom toplinskom modelu. Razvijena strujno-adaptivna strategija upravljanja omogućava povećanje učinkovitosti aktiviranjem ili deaktiviranjem pojedinih grana pretvarača u ovisnosti o režimu opterećenja baterije. Strategija je validirana korištenjem CHIL razvojne metodologije i Typhoon HIL 402 uređaja za simulaciju u stvarnom vremenu. Metoda upravljanja radnom temperaturom tranzistora detaljno je razrađena korištenjem prototipa s 12 paralelno spojenih tranzistora. Arduino DUE platforma, integrirana s MATLAB korisničkim sučeljem, korištena je za upravljanje. Metoda je validirana u nekoliko radnih točaka, što je potvrdilo njenu efikasnost. Za kraj, konstruiran je mjerni postav za ispitivanje učinkovitosti u stvarnom vremenu, koristeći CHIL i PHIL metodologiju. U sklopu PHIL metodologije razvijen je i izrađen dvosmjerni pretvarač istosmjerne struje s dvije grane snage 240 W, čime su svi doprinosi rada dodatno validirani.In this doctoral thesis, various topologies of bidirectional DC-DC converters are extensively investigated, with a particular focus on their application in battery storage systems. Special attention is given to the two-stage implementation, which features a cascaded configuration of a DC-DC voltage converter and an inverter/rectifier. The study includes an analysis of a multibranch bidirectional DC-DC converter for which a comprehensive mathematical model is developed. This analysis covers both the boost and buck operating modes, and the basic mathematical model is enhanced by incorporating a model of the converter that accounts for operational losses. Based on the developed model, components for the actual converter are selected and realized in a physical implementation. Loss calculations based on the model with operational losses contribute to the design of the mathematical thermal model of the selected converter. This model is crucial for simulation modeling in the Typhoon HIL environment and the subsequent implementation of more advanced algorithms. The impact of implementing varying numbers of active branches in the DC-DC converter on its electrical and thermal characteristics is also thoroughly documented. Utilizing the mathematical model as a foundation, a simulation model is constructed. The initial open-loop model evolved into a regulated model through a dual-loop following the implementation of a PID controller. A simulation thermal model, based on the previously developed mathematical thermal model, is also included. The current-adaptive control strategy is developed, enabling an increase in efficiency by activating or deactivating individual branches of the converter depending on the battery load regime. The strategy is validated using the CHIL development methodology and the Typhoon HIL 402 device for real-time simulation. The method for managing the operating temperature of transistors is detailed using a prototype with 12 parallel-connected transistors. The Arduino DUE platform, integrated with the MATLAB user interface, is used for control. The method is validated at several operating points, confirming its effectiveness

    Proces zacjeljivanja kroničnih rana često je iz nekog razloga usporen, te one zahtijevaju poseban medicinski tretman. Shodno tome, praćenje procesa zacjeljivanja predstavlja značajan korak pri određivanju optimalne terapije za tretiranje kroničnih rana. Napredak u području strojnog učenja i računalnog vida ostvario je mogućnosti razvoja metoda za analizu rana koje bi mogle točno odrediti vrste prisutnih tkiva i pratiti zacjeljivanje, čime se ovaj rad bavi. Ovo istraživanje bilo je usmjereno na razvoj i evaluaciju modela strojnog učenja za zadatak semantičke segmentacije tkiva kroničnih rana. Odabrano je osam različitih arhitektura neuronskih mreža, pri čemu je svaka uparena s jednom od četiri korištene funkcije gubitka. Proces učenja proveden je za svaku arhitekturu, nakon čega su modeli evaluirani na testnom skupu podataka. Nakon evaluacije provedena je statistička analiza rezultata kako bi se utvrdilo postoje li i statistički značajne razlike među modelima.The healing process of chronic wounds is often disrupted for a variety of reasons, and they require special medical treatment. Therefore, monitoring the healing process is a significant step in recognizing and addressing potential problems and creating an appropriate treatment plan. Improvement of machine learning and computer vision enabled the development of methods for wound analysis that would be able to precisely detect types of tissues within the wound and monitor the healing process, which is what this paper deals with. This research focused on the development and evaluation of machine learning models for the semantic segmentation of chronic wound tissue. Eight different neural network architectures were selected, each paired with one of the four loss functions. A training process was carried out for each architecture and then evaluated on a test set. Following that, statistical analysis was conducted to determine whether there were significant differences between the models

    U uvodnom dijelu rada dani su primjeri rješenja koja ova aplikacija pokriva. Uzimajući u obzir sve potrebne aspekte problema, ovoj aplikaciji cilj je pokriti što više mogućih značajki. Prema uzoru na druge dane primjere, aplikacija uklanja neke nepotrebne značajke te objedinjuje one najpotrebnije. Cijela web aplikacija se bazira na Java Spring Boot tehnologiji te su omogućene sve funkcionalnosti koje su potrebne za osnovan rad aplikacije. Osim Jave kao programskog jezika kojim je u cijelosti izrađena logika aplikacije, korišteni su HTML i CSS za stvaranje grafičkog korisničkog sučelja. Korištenjem PostgreSQL baze podataka te JPA repozitorija omogućena je jednostavna i brza komunikacija s bazom podataka. Naposljetku, aplikacija je funkcionalna s velikim popisom jednostavni proširenja koji bi poboljšali aplikaciju.In the introductory section of the paper, examples of solutions that this application covers are provided. Taking into account all the necessary aspects of the problem, the goal of this application is to cover as many possible features as possible. Based on the other provided examples, the application removes some unnecessary features and combines the most essential ones. The entire web application is based on Java Spring Boot technology, and all the functionalities necessary for the basic operation of the application are enabled. In addition to Java as the programming language used to implement the application's logic, HTML and CSS were used to create the graphical user interface. By using a PostgreSQL database and JPA repository, simple and fast communication with the database is enabled. Finally, the application is functional with a large list of simple extensions that would improve the application

    Uvođenje naprednih tehnologija u medicinu značajno je unaprijedilo dijagnostiku i liječenje brojnih bolesti, uključujući melanom, najopasniji oblik raka kože. Razvoj metoda strojnog učenja omogućuje precizniju analizu medicinskih slika, što doprinosi ranijem otkrivanju i uspješnijem liječenju melanoma. U ovom diplomskom radu istražuje se primjena strojnog učenja u detekciji melanoma korištenjem mobilnih uređaja. Prednosti mobilnih uređaja je u njihovoj dostupnosti i praktičnosti, čime se omogućava šira upotreba dijagnostičkih alata u svakodnevnom životu. Korištenjem suvremenih algoritama strojnog učenja, mobilne aplikacije mogu postati pouzdani asistenti dermatologa u prepoznavanju sumnjivih lezija kože. Cilj ovog rada je prikazati mogućnosti i ograničenja ovakvih sustava te ponuditi rješenja za njihovo poboljšanje i širu primjenu u medicinskoj praksi.The introduction of advanced technologies in medicine has significantly improved the diagnosis and treatment of numerous diseases, including melanoma, the most dangerous form of skin cancer. The development of machine learning methods enables more precise analysis of medical images, which contributes to earlier detection and more successful treatment of mela- noma. This thesis examines the application of machine learning in melanoma detection using mobile devices. The advantages of mobile devices lie in their availability and practicality, which enables the wider use of diagnostic tools in everyday life. By using modern machine learning algorithms, mobile applications can become reliable assistants to dermatologists in identifying suspicious skin lesions. The aim of this paper is to show the possibilities and li- mitations of such systems and to offer solutions for their improvement and wider application in medical practice

    U teorijskom dijelu rada opisani su neki od najčešćih poremećaja vida i uloga tehnologija u pružanju pomoći osobama zahvaćenim tim poremećajima s naglaskom na mobilne aplikacije. Analiziran je pojam pristupačnosti i objašnjena njezina važnost pri dizajniranju mobilnih aplikacija. Objašnjene su moguće kategorije u koje spadaju tehnološka rješenja za pomoć osobama s poremećajima vida i uz to postojeće mobilne aplikacije koje pripadaju tim kategorijama. U praktičnom dijelu rada izrađena je Android aplikacija Explore & See kao alat za pomoć osobama s poremećajima vida s dvjema temeljnim funkcionalnostima: povećalo i navigacija. Objašnjene su korištene tehnologije pri izradi rješenja kao i predviđeni način uporabe aplikacije. Dijagramom toka ilustrirano je kretanje korisnika kroz aplikaciju, a evaluacija je provedena na uzorku od dvanaest korisnika s pozitivnim rezultatima.The role of mobile applications as a tool to assist individuals with visual impairments In the theoretical section of the paper, some of the most common visual impairments are described, along with the role of technology in assisting individuals affected by these impairments, with a focus on mobile applications. The concept of accessibility is analysed and explained, as well as its importance in the design of mobile applications. The possible categories of technological solutions for assisting people with visual impairments are discussed and some existing mobile applications that fall into these categories are presented. In the practical part of the paper, an Android application called Explore & See was developed as a tool to assist individuals with visual impairments, featuring two main functionalities: a magnifier and navigation. The technologies used in creating the solution are explained, as well as the intended usage of the application. User's navigation through the application is illustrated by a flowchart. Evaluation was conducted on a sample of twelve users with positive results

    Analysis of HVDC transmission integration impact on rotor angle and voltage stability of transmission network

    Na početku ovog rada opisan je matematički model stabilnosti kuta rotora i napona u prijenosnoj mreži. U teoretskoj obradi također ja kao nužnost obrađen rad i primjena elektroničkih energetskih pretvarača koji su temelj HVDC veze LCC tipa koja je predmet istraživanja diplomskog rada. Praktični dio rada sastoji se od podešenja parametara HVDC sustava i njegove integracije u 345-kV prijenosnu mrežu te analize utjecaja na pokazatelje stabilnosti sustava. Uz same pretvarače su, kao dio sustava, implementirane i reaktivne komponente i pasivni filtri kao mjera poboljšanja harmonijskog spektra struja i napona. Nakon utvrđivanja ispunjenosti načela kvalitete električne energije, provedene su simulacije za analizu tranzijentne i oscilatorne stabilnosti. Utjecaj na tranzijentnu stabilnost promatrao se kroz odziv sustava na veliki poremećaj (trofazni kratki spoj na sabirnici) s naglaskom na određivanje kritičnog vremena čišćenja. Pokazatelji oscilatorne stabilnosti vrednovani su u s- i t-domeni tako da su analizirani položaj svojstvenih vrijednosti u kompleksnoj ravnini i dinamički odzivi sinkronih generatora na mali poremećaj (promjena opterećenja). Na kraju su generirane PV krivulje kako bi se provela procjena utjecaja HVDC-a na naponske prilike u sustavu i stabilnost napona. .This paper begins by describing a mathematical model for rotor angle stability and voltage stability in the transmission network. In the theoretical section, the work also addresses the necessity and application of power electronics converters, which are fundamental to the LCCtype HVDC link, the subject of this thesis. The practical aspect of paper involves the adjustment of HVDC system parameters and its integration into the 345-kV transmission network, folowed by an analysis of its impact on power system stability indicators. In addition to the converters, reactive components and passive filters have been implemented as part of the system to improve the harmonic spectrum of currents and voltages. After ensuring compliance with power quality standards, simulations were conducted to analyze transient and small-signal stability. The impact on transient stability was observed through the system's response to a major disturbance (a three-phase short circuit on the busbar), with an emphasis on determining the critical clearing time. Indicators of small-signal stability were evaluated in the s- and tdomains by analyzing the position of eigenvalues in the complex plane and the dynamic responses of synchronous generators to a small disturbance (load change). Ultimately, PV curves were generated to asses the influence of the HVDC on voltage conditions and stability of the system

    Mobile application for reading and English in use on a multiple choice exercise type

    Sve su češće mobilne aplikacije za učenje engleskog jezika. Mnoge od njih nude zadatke s višestrukim odabirom, ali nijedna uz to ne nudi teorijsku podlogu i detaljne savjete. Cilj ovog završnog rada bio je izraditi mobilnu aplikaciju za vježbanje čitanja s razumijevanjem na primjeru zadataka višestrukog odabira. Nakon provedenog istraživanja, utvrđeno je da su je dostupnih rješenja malo i da su sva dostupna rješenja vrlo slična. Aplikacija je izrađena u programskom jeziku Kotlin i dostupna na operacijskom sustavu Android. Za pohranu podataka korištena je Firebase Firestore baza podataka. Aplikacija nudi interaktivno korisničko sučelje, zadatke koji vode korisnika kroz teoriju i na kraju rješavanje ispita. U budućnosti aplikacija se može proširiti dodavanjem novih katerogija ili modernih rješenja poput zadataka generiranih uz pomoć umjetne inteligencije.Application for reading comprehension on the example of multiple choice tasks. Mobile application for learning English are becoming more and more common. Many of them offer multiple choice tasks, but none of them offer theoretical background and detailed hints. The goal of this final work was to create mobile application for reading comprehension on the example of multiple choice tasks. After conducting research, it was determined that there are a few available solutions and all of them are very similar. The application was created in the Kotlin programming language and is available for Android operating system. The Firebase Firestore database was used for data storage. The application offers interactive user interface, tasks that guide use through the theoretical parts and finally solving the exam. In the future, the application can be expanded by adding new categories or modern solutions like tasks generated with the help of artificial intelligence
