Development of My.ferit.hr Blog Using Django Framework
U ovom završnom radu prikazana je izrada my.ferit.hr bloga za studente. Stranica
omogućuje dodavanje blog stranica te brojne opcije za manipulaciju samim blogovima, što studentima
omogućuje da na jednom mjestu imaju sve svoje blogove bez obzira na temu. U prvom dijelu rada su
opisane stranice koje imaju slične značajke kao naša stranica i uspoređene su s uporabom i značajkama
naše stranice. Dalje su opisane tehnologije koje su korištene za realizaciju stranice te je prikazano kako
su te tehnologije primijenjene. Za realizaciju same stranice je korišten Django razvojni kostur i Python
programski jezik za poslužiteljsku stranu, a s klijentske strane Tailwind CSS i JavaScript za izgled i
značajke stranice. Korisnicima je omogućeno uređivanje svojih objava prema vlastitim željama, uz brojne
opcije formatiranja pomoću TinyMCE uređivača teksta. Na kraju rada je prikazan izgled stranice, izvedba
značajki te način primjene tehnologija. U zaključku su razmatrani način izvedbe stranice i mogućnosti za
poboljšanje stranice.This final paper demonstrates the development of the my.ferit.hr blog for students. The site
allows us to add blog sites and then gives a large number of options concerning the manipulation and
use of the blog pages. It also lets students have all of their blogs in one place regardless of the topic. In
the first part of the paper, sites with similar features to our site are described and compared regarding
their use and functionality. The technologies used for the implementation of the site are also detailed,
demonstrating how these technologies were applied. For the realization of the site itself, the Django
development framework and the Python programming language are used for the server side. On the
client side Tailwind CSS and JavaScript are used for the appearance and features of the site. Users can
edit their posts however they want with a wide variety of formatting options using the TinyMCE rich text
editor. At the end of the paper, the appearance of the site is shown and the features of the site are
discussed including the way we used certain technologies. In the conclusion, the methods of site
implementation and potential improvements are discussed
Wireless system of data transmission for induction motor temperature measurements
U ovom završnom radu analizirano je mjerenje temperature asinkronog motora.
Opisane su osnove mjerenja temperature. Nakon uvoda definiran je pojam topline i temperature gdje su
dane formule i mjerne jedinice. U trećem poglavlju opisan je pojam termopar koji kao jedan od vrsta
termometara služi za mjerenje temperature. U sljedećem poglavlju opisan je asinkroni motor, dane su
fizikalne osnove i princip rada. Prikazan je termički model bez kojega se ne može projektirati sami motor.
U zadnjem poglavlju opisan način bežičnog prijenosa podataka mjerenje pomoću uređaja NI WSN 9792 i
NI WSN 3212.In this final paper, the temperature measurement of induction motor is analyzed. Basic of
temperature measurement are described. After the introduction the concept of heat and temperature is
defined, where formulas and measurement units are given. In the third chapter, the term thermocouple
is described, which, as one of the types of thermometers, is used to measure temperature. In the next
chapter the induction motor is described, the psysical foundations and the principle of operation are
given. The thermal model is shown, without which the motor itself cannot be designed. In the last
chapter, the method of wireless dana transfer measurement using NI WSN 9792 and NI WSN 3212
devices, is described
Wood moisture meter
sažetak (hrvatski): Tema rada je „Mjerenje vlage u drvetu“. Zbog toga je prvo pojašnjena uloga vlage u
drvetu te važnost preciznog određivanja iste. Udio vlage koji se nalazi u drvetu je jedan od najvažnijih
podataka koji se koriste u brojnim proizvodnim industrijama. Stoga je važno precizno odrediti koliki udio
vlage sadrži neko drvo. Postoji više različitih mjernih uređaja pomoću kojih se taj udio može odrediti,
neki od uređaja su opisani u radu. Također, u radu je opisan način izrade uređaja koji mjeri otpor u drvu
pomoću mikroupravljača i Wheatstone mosta. Eksperimentalni podaci mjerenja su iskorišteni za
kalibriranje izrađenog uređaja pomoću odabrane funkcije kako bi se mogao procijeniti iznos vlage na
temelju izmjerenog otpora. Za izradu uređaja potrebno je korištenje Arduino Nano uređaja kao i znanje
korištenja Arduino IDE razvojnog okruženja zbog programskog dijela koji je potreban kako bi uređaj
radio.abstract: Title: Measurement of moisture in wood The topic of the paper is "Measurement of moisture
in wood". For this reason, the role of moisture in wood and the importance of its precise determination
were first explained. The moisture content of wood is one of the most important data used in many
manufacturing industries. Therefore, it is important to precisely determine how much moisture a
certain wood contains. There are several different measuring devices that can be used to determine this
proportion. Some of the devices are described in the paper. Also, the paper describes how to construct
a device that measures resistance in wood using a microcontroller and a Wheatstone bridge. The
experimental measurement data were used to calibrate the constructed device using the selected
function in order to be able to estimate the amount of moisture based on measured resistance. To
construct the device it is necessary to use the Arduino Nano device as well as the knowledge of using
the Arduino IDE development environment because of the programming part that is required for the
device to work
Web application for reserving seats in the cinema
U radu je razvijena web aplikacija za organizaciju rada malih kinodvorana. U
teorijskom dijelu opisane su tehnologije koje su korištene prilikom izrade web aplikacije. Navede
tehnologije su Spring Boot ovkir, IntelliJ razvojno okruženje, SQLite za operacije nad bazom podataka i
Thymeleaf za stvaranje dinamičnih HTML stranica. Nadalje je opisan proces izrade web aplikacije, gdje su
predstavljene funkcije koje bi kinodvorana trebala imati te način na koje su te funkcije ispunjene. Glavni
dijelovi web aplikacije su objašnjeni prema entitetima koji ju čine, te njihovi servisi i kontroleri koji se
brinu za logiku iza navedenih entiteta. Također je prikazano korisničko sučelje web aplikacije, način na
koji vlasnik ili običan korisnik mogu koristiti web aplikaciju te prava koja stječu administrator i običan
korisnik.Web application for reservation of seats in a cinema This paper presents a web application
developed for organizing the operations of small cinemas. In the theoretical part, the technologies used
in the development of the web application are described. The mentioned technologies include the
Spring Boot framework, the IntelliJ development environment, SQLite for database operations, and
Thymeleaf for creating dynamic HTML pages. Furthermore, the process of creating the web application
is described, presenting the features that the cinema should have and how those features are
implemented. The main parts of the web application are explained based on the entities that make up
the web application, along with their services and controllers that handle the logic behind the
mentioned entities. The user interface of the web application is also shown, including how the owner or
a regular user can use the web application, as well as the rights granted to the administrator and the
regular user
The influence of the change in choke inductance of the step-up DC voltage converter realized using the Lucas-Nulle experimental card
Napravljena je analiza rada istosmjernog uzlaznog pretvarača napona u
kontinuiranom i diskontinuiranom režimu rada. Razmatrana je i opisana didaktičko-multimedijalna
oprema Lucas Nuelle te eksperimentalna kartica uzlaznog pretvarača napona LNCO4205-1K. Provedena
su mjerenja pomoću eksperimentalne kartice uzlaznog pretvarača napona te dvije prigušnice s različitim
brojem namota. Prilikom provođenja mjerenja koriste se prigušnice bez zračnog raspora i sa zračnim
rasporom. U pokusima se promatra režim rada eksperimentalne kartice promjenom sklopne frekvencije
faktora vođenja.An analysis of the operation of DC voltage boost converter in continuous and discontinuous
mode was carried out. The Lucas Nuelle didactic-multimedia equipment and the experimental voltage
boost converter board were considered. Measurements were conducted using the experimental board
and two inductors with different numbers of windings. During the measurements, inductors with and
without an air gap were used. In the experiments, the operating mode of the experimental board was
observed by changing the switching frequency and duty cycl
Optimal operation planning of the experimental model of prosumer with energy storage system
U ovom radu definiran je sustav upravljanja električnom energijom koji optimizira
tokove snaga u mikromreži sa ciljem smanjenja troškova električne energije. Za promatrani slučaj
korišten je model krajnjeg kupca s vlastitom proizvodnjom i pohranom električne energije. Iz
matematičkog modela stvoren je računalni model i odrađena računalna simulacija. Računalna simulacija
iz ulaznih parametara stvara rezultate koji predstavljaju optimalne tokove snaga u promatranom
sustavu. Ulazni parametri simulacije su: tarife u smjeru predaje i u smjeru preuzimanja energije iz mreže,
razina sunčevog zračenja, opterećenje, temperatura okoline i parametri koji definiraju bateriju. Dobiveni
rezultati simulacije su: tokovi snage u razmjeni s mrežom, izlazna snaga FN sustava, trošak električne
energije u eurima, stanje napunjenosti baterije i tokovi snaga u bateriji. Dobiveni tokovi snage simulacije
korišteni su zatim u emulaciji mikromreže. Rezultati računalne simulacije i emulacije mikromreže grafički
su prikazani i uspoređeni. Grafovi su generalno slični, ali u nekim trenutcima postoje i veća odstupanja iz
čega se zaključuje da stvarni sustav ne može u potpunosti pratiti računalnu simulaciju u svakom
trenutku.In this paper, an energy management system that optimizes power flows in a microgrid with
the aim of reducing electricity costs is defined. For the observed case, a model of an end consumer with
its own energy production and storage was used. A computer model was created from the mathematical
model, and a computer simulation was carried out. The computer simulation, based on input
parameters, generates results that represent the optimal power flows in the observed system. The input
parameters for the simulation are: tariffs for energy export and import from the grid, solar radiation
levels, load, ambient temperature, and battery parameters. The simulation results are: power flows in
exchange with the grid, output power of the PV system, electricity cost in euros, battery state of charge
and power flows in the battery. The obtained power flows from the simulation were then used in the
emulation of the microgrid. The results of the computer simulation and microgrid emulation are
graphically presented and compared. The graphs are generally similar, but in some instances, there are
larger deviations, from which it is concluded that the real system cannot fully follow the computer
simulation at every moment
Analytical description of the dynamic behaviour of the passive hybrid battery and supercapacitor system
U doktorskom radu detaljno je predstavljen pasivni hibridni sustav baterije i superkondenzatora (HBSS). Pasivni hibridni sustav baterije i superkondenzatora predstavljen je Kirchhoffovim mreţnim modelom prvoga reda. Opterećenje je modelirano kao strujni uvor. Valni oblik struje opterećenja predstavljen je kao niz pravokutnih impulsa sa superponiranom konstantnom strujom. Na osnovi predstavljenog modela izvedeni su analitički izrazi koji točno opisuju ponašanje HBSS-a tijekom prijelazne pojave i ustaljenog stanja. Definiran je pomoćni parametar pasivnog hibridnog sustava baterije i superkondenzatora koji uspostavlja funkcijski odnos između unutarnjih otpora sustava i strujno-naponskih prilika i gubitaka u svrhu jednostavnije analize tijekom dinamičkog opterećenja sustava. Također, uveden je novi skup analitičkih izraza za analizu energetske učinkovitosti pasivnog HBSS-a u odnosu na sustave napajanja realizirane samo s baterijama. Pomoću uvedenih izraza, analizirana je energetska učinkovitost pasivnog HBSS-a za različite parametre dinamičkog opterećenja. Analiza je pokazala da kada je dinamička komponenta struje opterećenja vrlo mali dio ukupne struje opterećenja ili, u slučaju sporo promjenjivih struja opterećenja, pasivni HBSS, u odnosu na napajanje samo s baterijom, nema prednosti u smislu energetske učinkovitosti. Analiza je rezultirala pronalaskom intervala parametara baterije i superkondenzatora koji je optimalan za dimenzioniranje pasivnog HBSS-a s tehno-ekonomskog aspekta.
U doktorskom radu, postupak ujednačavanja napona zasnovan na preklapanju superkondenzatora predstavljen je po prvi put kao Markovljev lanac u svrhu analize utjecaja parametara Kirchhoffovog modela sustava i frekvencije preklapanja na stupanj ujednačenosti napona duţ serijskog spoja superkondenzatora. Prikazani pristup zasnovan na primjeni Markovljevih lanaca pokazao se pogodnim za analizu rada izjednačivača napona zasnovanom na preklapanju superkondenzatora i za određivanje njegovih vaţnih parametara.In the doctoral thesis, a passive hybrid battery and supercapacitor system (HBSS) is elaborated on. The passive hybrid system of the battery and supercapacitor is represented by the Kirchhoff circuit model of the first order. The load is modelled as a current sink. The waveform of the load current is represented as a series of rectangular pulses with a superimposed constant current. Based on the presented model, analytical expressions that accurately describe the HBSS behaviour during the transient and steady state were derived. An auxiliary parameter of the passive hybrid system of the battery and supercapacitor is defined, which establishes a functional relationship between the internal resistances of the system and the current-voltage conditions and losses for the purpose of the simpler analysis during the dynamic loading of the system. Also, a novel set of analytical expressions is introduced for the analysis of energy efficiency of the passive HBSS in relation to the stand-alone battery systems (SABS). Using the proposed expressions, energy efficiency of the passive HBSS was analysed for different dynamic load parameters. The analysis showed that in cases where the dynamic component of the load current is a very small part of the total load current, or slowly varying load currents, the passive HBSS, in relation to the SABS, has no advantages in terms of energy efficiency. The analysis resulted in an interval of the battery and supercapacitor parameters which is optimal for the sizing of the passive HBSS from a techno-economic aspect.
In the doctoral thesis, the voltage equalisation procedure based on supercapacitor switching was presented for the first time as a Markov chain. This was done in order to analyse the influence of Kirchhoff circuit model parameters and switching frequency on the degree of voltage uniformity along the series connection of the supercapacitor. The presented approach based on the application of Markov chains proved to be suitable for analysing the operation of the voltage equaliser based on supercapacitor switching and for determining its important parameters
Prediction of maintenance procedures for oil-immersed transformers based on physical-chemical analyses
Transformatori su jako bitne komponente elektroenergetskih sustava. Njihova
pouzdanost i dugovječnost utječe na stabilnost i učinkovitost cijele elektroenergetske mreže. Stoga je
bitno kontinuirano pratiti i procjenjivati stanje transformatora kako bi se osigurala pravovremena
intervencija i spriječili kvarovi koji mogu uzrokovati ozbiljne poremećaje i gubitke. Nakon upoznavanja s
pojmovima strojnog učenja i obrade podataka naredni cilj je bio metodama strojnog učenja razviti model
i aplikaciju koja će predvidjeti stanje transformatora na temelju analiza ulja te predložiti i uputiti u
potrebne postupke održavanja. Uspoređeno je nekoliko algoritama za klasifikaciju, a najbolje rezultate je
imao Random Forest algoritam koji je potom korišten u izradi aplikacije. Aplikacije je jednostavna za
korištenje te upućuje korisnika kako bi trebao postupiti. Aplikacija je realizirana u Streamlit razvojnom
okruženju koristeći Python programski jezik.Transformers are very important components of power systems. Their reliability and longevity
affect the stability and efficiency of the entire power network. Therefore, it is essential to continuously
monitor and assess the condition of transformers to ensure timely intervention and prevent failures that
could cause serious disruptions and losses. After familiarizing ourselves with the concepts of machine
learning and data processing, the next goal was to develop a model and application using machine
learning methods to predict the condition of transformers based on oil analysis and to suggest and guide
the necessary maintenance procedures. Several classification algorithms were compared, and the
Random Forest algorithm produced the best results, which was then used in the application
development. The application is easy to use and guides the user on how to proceed. The application was
implemented in the Streamlit development environment using the Python programming language
Android application for connecting dog owners and dog walkers
U modernom svijetu obilježenom užurbanošću, ljudi često imaju malo vremena za sebe i svoje
bližnje, što može dovesti do zapostavljanja njihovih najboljih krznenih prijatelja. U ovom
završnom radu opisana je implementacija rješenja takvog problema.
Aplikacija je razvijena korištenjem Kotlin programskog jezika, Jetpack Compose alata za izgled
korisničkog sučelja i Stripe poslužitelja za naplaćivanje. Aplikacija omogućuje prijavu i
registraciju putem adrese e-pošte i zaporke ili korištenjem Google računa, pronalazak šetača koji
se nalaze u istom mjestu kao i korisnik, rezervaciju i plaćanje usluga šetnje. Svaki korisnik ima
mogućnost pregleda rute održanih šetnji kao i praćenje lokacije šetača u stvarnom vremenu.
Ocjenjivanje šetača je moguće putem aplikacije kako bi svi vlasnici pronašli odgovarajuću osobu
za svog kućnog ljubimca.
Uspoređujući aplikaciju opisanu u ovom završnom radu s postojećim sličnim aplikacijama,
identificiraju se brojna proširenja i poboljšanja. Ta proširenja uključuju mogućnost kontakta šetača
putem poruke ili poziva unutar same aplikacije radi olakšane komunikacije između korisnika i
šetača, kao i njihovih kućnih ljubimaca. Također, predloženo je implementiranje naprednijeg
sigurnosnog mehanizma pri registraciji novih šetača kako bi se osigurala veća razina sigurnosti.
Nadalje, planira se poboljšanje korisničkog sučelja kako bi bilo intuitivnije i estetski privlačnije
korisnicima.In the modern world characterized by fast-paced living, people often have little time for themselves
and their loved ones, which can lead to the neglect of their best furry friends. This thesis describes
the implementation of a solution to such a problem.
The application was developed using Kotlin programming language, Jetpack Compose tool for
user interface layout and Stripe payment provider. The application enables login and registration
via email address and password or using a Google account, finding walkers who are in the same
place as the user, booking and paying for walking services. Each user has the option of viewing
the route of the walks as well as tracking the location of the walkers in real time. Reviewing of
walkers is possible through the app so all owners can find the right person for their pet.
By comparing the application described in this thesis with existing similar applications, a number
of improvements are identified. These improvements include the ability to contact walkers via
message or call within the app itself to facilitate communication between users and walkers, as
well as their pets. It was also proposed to implement a more advanced security mechanism when
registering new walkers to ensure a higher level of security. Furthermore, it is planned to improve
the user interface to make it more intuitive and aesthetically appealing to users
Stationary battery systems and their role in the power system
Tema ovog rada su stacionarni baterijski sustavi i njihova uloga u elektroenergetskom
sustavu. Kroz rad istražene su različite tehnologije baterijskih spremnika i njihove karakteristične
veličine. Također, u radu je prikazana i uporaba korištenih baterija iz električnih automobila, koja je
potkrijepljena mjerenjima baterije iz automobila marke Nissan Leaf. Baterijski sustavi su se također
pokazali učinkovitima na razini prijenosne i distribucijske mreže. U programu EasyPower prikazano je
kako se može upravljati zagušenjima u mreži, regulirati napon i jalova snaga, te odgoditi ulaganja u
mrežu. U konačnici su uspoređene različiti baterijski sustavi i donesen je zaključak kako je litij-ionska
baterija najučinkovitija u elektroenergetskom sustavu.The topic of this work are stationary battery systems and their role in the power system.
Through the work, different technologies of battery tanks and their characteristic sizes were
investigated. Also, the paper shows the use of used batteries from electric cars, which is supported by
measurements of batteries from Nissan Leaf cars. Battery systems have also proven to be efficient at the
level of transmission and distribution networks. The EasyPower program shows how congestion in the
network can be managed, voltage and reactive power can be regulated, and investment in the network
can be postponed. In the end, different battery systems were compared and the conclusion was reached
that the lithium-ion battery is the most efficient in the power system
