Microcontroller system for IoT Autonomous Aquarium
Cilj rada je bio ostvariti mikroupravljački sustav za IoT autonomni akvarij. Prikazano je kako, uz
pmoć Dasduino CONNECTPLUS mikroupravljača, upravljati sustavom putem membranske
tipkovnice i asinkronog web server-a. Dodatno je izrađeno kućište, PCB pločica i 3D isprintana
hranilica koju pokreće stepper motor. Korisnik, putem OLED ekrana i web server-a, dobiva na
pregled trenutni status grijanja, pumpe, osvjetljenja i zadnjeg puta kad su ribice nahranjene.The aim of the project was to create a microcontroller system for an IoT autonomous aquarium. It
demonstrates how to control the system using a membrane keypad and an asynchronous web
server, powered by the Dasduino CONNECTPLUS microcontroller. Additionally, a custom
enclosure, PCB board, and a 3D-printed feeder driven by a stepper motor were developed. The
user can view the current status of heating, pump, lighting, and the last feeding time of the fish via
the OLED screen and the web server
Wi-Fi Night Light
Ovaj završni rad bavi se dizajnom Wi-Fi noćnog svijetla. Cilj rada je dizajnirati kućište
noćnog svijetla i elektroničke tiskane ploče i programa koji omogućuje kontrolu boja i svjetline preko
WiFi-a. Time se omogućuje pristup i kontrolu noćnog svijetla preko pametnog mobitela ili računala.
Korištena je razvojna pločica WeMos D1 Mini Pro za kontrolu WS2812B LED trake. Program je razvijen u
Arduino IDE te omogućuje kontrolu boja i pamćenje zadnje boje koja je postavljena. Testiranjem je
potvrđeno da se bilo koji uređaj može spojiti na razvojnu pločicu, pristupiti web stranici i kontrolirati
boje na svijetlu.This work deal with the design of a Wi-Fi night light. The goal of the thesis is to design the
casing of the night light, the electronic printed circuit boards, and the program that enables control of
colours and brightness via Wi-Fi. This allows access to and control of the night light through a
smartphone or computer. The WeMos D1 Mini Pro development board was used to control the
WS2812B LED strip. The program was developed in Arduino IDE and allows control of colours as well as
remembering the last set colour and mode. Testing confirmed that any device can connect to the
development board, access the web page, and control the colours of the light.

Application of multi-objective optimization for short-term energy management planning of the energy community
Ovaj rad analizira energetsku zajednicu te se bavi kratkoročnim planiranjem pogona
energetske zajednice koristeći višeciljnu optimizaciju. Glavni cilj optimizacijskog postupka bio je pronaći
ravnotežu između smanjenja emisija CO2 i smanjenja troškova električne energije. Razvijen je
optimizacijski model temeljen na mješovitom cjelobrojnom linearnom programiranju, a optimizacija je
provedena kombinacijom MATLAB i GAMS. Rezultati pokazuju da je optimalno rješenje postignuto pri
težinskom faktoru ω = 0,05, gdje su ukupni troškovi smanjeni sa 62,22 € na 54,23 €, odnosno za 7,99 €,
dok su emisije CO2 smanjene sa 106,04 kg na 105,01 kg, odnosno za 1,03 kg. Naglašeno je smanjenje
emisija CO2, što je vrlo važno s obzirom na neprofitnu prirodu energetskih zajednica i njihovu ekološku
misiju.This paper defines the energy community and deals with the short-term planning of the energy
community plant using multi-objective optimization. The main goal was to find a balance between
reducing CO2 emissions and reducing energy costs, taking into account technical and economic factors.
A mathematical model based on mixed integer linear programming was developed, and the optimization
was carried out in MATLAB and GAMS tools. The results show that the optimal solution was achieved at
a weighting of ω = 0.05, where total costs were reduced from €62.22 to €54.23, by €7.99, and CO2 were
reduced are at 106.04 kg to 105.01 kg, for 1.03 kg. Emphasis is placed on reducing emissions, which is
crucial given the non-profit nature of energy communities and their environmental mission
4G network environment simulation in MATLAB
Ovaj rad se bavi simulacijom 4G mrežnog okruženja u programu MATLAB. Ukupno je
napravljeno devet simulaciju u kojima su se dogodile promjene širine pojasa, promjene reda modulacije
i promjene broja podnosioca. Širina pojasa je mijenjana s 40MHz na 20MHz i na kraju na 10MHz. Prvi red
modulacije bio je 64 zatim 16 i za kraj 8. Broj podnosioca je mijenjan s 128 na 64 i na kraju na 32
podnosioca. Cilj rada je bio prikazati parametre 4G mrežnog okruženja u različitim uvjetima. Izmjereni
parametri 4G simulacije su učestalost pogreške(engl. Bit Error Rate-BER), brzina prijenosa
podataka(engl. Date transfer rate) u Mbps i ukupno kašnjenje(engl. Total delay) u milisekundama.
Rezultati simulacije prikazani su numerički i grafički. Također, unutar rada opisane su bežične mreže i sve
njene generacije od 1G do 5G s naglaskom na 4G. Opisan je i alat u kojem se izvršava simulacija, a to je
MATLAB.This paper deals with the simulation of a 4G network environment in the MATLAB program. In
total, nine simulations were made in which bandwidth changes, modulation order changes and the
number of subcarriers were changed. The bandwidth was changed from 40MHz to 20MHz and finally to
10MHz. The first line of modulation was 64, then 16 and finally 8. The number of subcarrires was
changed from 128 to 64 and finally to 32 subcarriers. The aim of the work was to show the parameters
of the 4G network environment in different conditions. The measured parameters of the 4G simulation
are BER (Bit Error Rate), data transfer rate in Mbps and total delay in milliseconds. The simulation results
are presented numerically and graphically. Also, the paper describes wireless networks and all their
generations from 1G to 5G with an emphasis on 4G. The tool in which the simulation is executed,
MATLAB, is also described
Installation and maintenance of photovoltaic power plants
Kroz ovaj rad obrađeni su ključni aspekti montaže i održavanja fotonaponskih
elektrana. Detaljno su opisani oprema za montažu, uključujući konstrukcije za fotonaponske elektrane,
te postupak montaže koji obuhvaća planiranje, instalaciju fotonaponskih modula i elektroopreme,
spajanje sustava i puštanje u rad. Također je obrađena važnost održavanja, uključujući redovite
inspekcije, preventivno i korektivno održavanje te upravljanje performansama i optimizacija rada
elektrane. Pravilna montaža i održavanje ključni su za osiguranje dugoročnog, učinkovitog i ekonomičnog
rada fotonaponskih sustava.This paper covers the key aspects of the installation and maintenance of photovoltaic power
plants. It provides a detailed description of the installation equipment, including structures for
photovoltaic systems, and outlines the installation process, which includes planning, installing
photovoltaic modules and electrical equipment, system connection, and commissioning. The importance
of maintenance is also discussed, including regular inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance,
as well as performance management and system optimization. Proper installation and maintenance are
crucial for ensuring the long-term, efficient, and cost-effective operation of photovoltaic systems
The concept of an uninterruptible power supply system up to 20W based on an inverter controlled by CD4047
Napravljena je analiza autonomnog naponskog izmjenjivača u polumosnom spoju i
analiza jednofaznog punovalnog neupravljivog ispravljača u mosnom spoju kapacitivno opterećenog.
Prikazan je postupak izrade neprekidnog sustava napajanja. Objašnjeni su režimi rada uređaja, te su
prikazani rezultati mjerenja u laboratoriju. Analizirani su rezultati mjerenja s obzirom na različite režime
rada.An analysis of an autonomous voltage inverter in a half-bridge configuration and an analysis of
a single-phase full-wave uncontrolled rectifier in a bridge configuration with capacitive loading have
been carried out. The procedure for creating an uninterruptible power supply system is presented. The
operating modes of the device are explained, and the results of laboratory measurements are shown.

Development and comparative analysis of web system for diagnosing and treatment of diseases by using machine learning and generative AI
U ovom diplomskom radu istražuju se izazovi u dijagnosticiranju i liječenju dijabetesa
korištenjem naprednih tehnologija. Prikazani su postojeći sustavi koji koriste strojno učenje i
generativnu umjetnu inteligenciju u biomedicinskim aplikacijama. Kreiran je model strojnog učenja
temeljen na klasifikacijskom algoritmu stabla odluke te dodan model generativne umjetne inteligencije
za analizu unesenih podataka. Razvijen je web sustav koji korisnicima omogućuje unos medicinskih
podataka, procjenu rizika od dijabetesa te dobivanje preporuka za daljnje liječenje. Ispitivanjem je
potvrđena ispravnost implementiranih funkcionalnosti i zadovoljavajuća točnost primijenjenih
algoritama strojnog učenja te generativne umjetne inteligencije.This thesis explores the challenges in diagnosing and treating diabetes using advanced
technologies. Existing systems that employ machine learning and generative artificial intelligence in
biomedical applications are presented. A machine learning model was created and a generative artificial
intelligence service was added to analyze the entered data. A web system has been designed, allowing
users to input medical data, assess the risk of diabetes, and receive recommendations for further
treatment. The testing confirmed the correctness of the implemented functionalities and the
satisfactory accuracy of the applied machine learning algorithms and generative artificial intelligenc
A cross-platform mobile application for pet adoption support using custom software architecture and collaborative filtering
Ovaj diplomski rad bavi se analizom problema i izazova udomljivanja kućnih
ljubimaca, te razvojem višeplatformske mobilne aplikacije koja korisnicima olakšava proces
udomljivanja. U radu su analizirane mogućnosti višeplatformskog razvoja mobilnih aplikacija, korištenje
prilagodljivih programskih arhitektura te sustavi preporuka s naglaskom na metodu kolaborativnog
filtriranja. Na temelju analize postojećih rješenja, definirani su funkcionalni i nefunkcionalni zahtjevi
aplikacije. Mobilna aplikacija omogućuje registraciju i prijavu korisnika, stvaranje korisničkih profila,
pretragu i kreiranje objava životinja za udomljivanje, slanje i obradu zahtjeva za udomljivanje,
razmjenjivanje poruka između korisnika, te je implementiran sustav preporuka temeljen na
kolaborativnom filtriranju za generiranje personaliziranih preporuka. Aplikacija je razvijena korištenjem
programskog okvira Flutter, programskog jezika Dart i biblioteke Riverpod za upravljanje stanjima, a s
Visual Studio Codeom kao razvojnom okolinom. Provedeno je ispitivanje funkcionalnosti aplikacije na
android emulatoru, s očekivanjem da će aplikacija pružati sličnu funkcionalnost, performanse i
korisničko iskustvo i na drugim platformama. Analiza rezultata pokazuje da aplikacija uspješno olakšava
proces udomljivanja ljubimaca, pruža ugodno i intuitivno korisničko iskustvo uz personalizirane
preporuke korisnicima, te da je sustav fleksibilan i prilagodljiv, čime se potvrđuje modularnost i
skalabilnost arhitekture.This thesis deals with the analysis of the problems and challenges of pet adoption, and the
development of a multi-platform mobile application that facilitates the adoption process for users. The
paper analyzes the possibilities of multi-platform development of mobile applications, the use of
adaptive software architectures and recommendation systems with an emphasis on the method of
collaborative filtering. Based on the existing analysis of the solution, the functional and non-functional
requirements of the application were defined. The mobile application enables users to register and log
in, create user profiles, search and create announcements of animals for adoption, send and process
adoption requests, exchange messages between users, and a recommendation system based on
collaborative filtering is implemented to generate personalized recommendations. The application was
developed using the Flutter framework, the Dart programming language and the Riverpod library, with
Visual Studio Code as the development environment. Functionality testing was conducted on an android
emulator, with the expectation that the application will also offer similar functionality, performance, and
user experience on other platforms. The analysis of results shows that the application successfully
facilitates the pet adoption process, provides a pleasant and intuitive user experience with personalized
recommendations for users, and that the system is flexible and adaptable, which confirms the
modularity and scalability of the architecture
Access and identity management in server and client applications
Problem upravljanja identitetom i pristupom u poslužiteljskim i klijentskim
aplikacijama ključan je izazov prilikom ostvarivanja sigurnosti aplikacija koje rukuju s osjetljivim
podacima. U praksi privatnost podataka organizacija i korisnika aplikacije osigurava se uspostavom
metoda autentifikacije i autorizacije. U ovom radu implementirano je programsko rješenje za upravljanje
nogometnim klubom i njegovim članovima uključivanjem mehanizama za upravljanje pristupom i
identitetom. Poslužiteljski dio programskog rješenja kreiran je korištenjem Spring Boot programskog
okvira i pisan Java programskim jezikom. Za uspostavu autentifikacije i autorizacije korišten je Keycloak
servis. Validacija rješenja provedena je testiranjem korisničkog dijela aplikacije i to web i mobilnog dijela,
a na temelju korisnikove uporabe i dohvaćanja vrijednosti iz baze podataka poslužiteljskog dijela
aplikacije ovisno o korisnikovom pravu pristupa: The problem of identity and access management in server and client applications is a key
challenge when securing applications that handle sensitive data. In practice, data privacy of
organizations and users of the application is ensured by the implementation of authentication and
authorization methods. In this work, software solution was implemented for management of a football
club and its members using mechanisms for identity and access management. The server part of
software solution was created using the Spring Boot framework and written in the Java programming
language. For the establishment of authentication and authorization, Keycloak service was used.
Validation of the solution was carried out by testing the user part of the application on web and mobile
parts, based on user's use and retrieving values from the database of the service part of the application,
depending on user's rights of access
Application for patient records
Ovaj diplomski rad obrađuje razvoj aplikacije za vođenje liječničke ordinacije, koja ima
za cilj unaprijediti upravljanje medicinskim podacima i administrativnim procesima unutar zdravstvenog
sektora. U radu su analizirana postojeća rješenja na tržištu, koja, iako funkcionalna, često pokazuju
nedostatke poput zastarjelih korisničkih sučelja i ograničene fleksibilnosti. Također je obrađena
regulativa CEZIH sustava koja postavlja standarde za sigurnost i funkcionalnost aplikacija. Predložena
aplikacija nudi rješenja koja nadmašuju postojeće softvere, pružajući bolje korisničko iskustvo, veću
interoperabilnost te napredne sigurnosne značajke. Ova aplikacija predstavlja značajan korak prema
modernizaciji zdravstvenih usluga i digitalizaciji poslovanja unutar ordinacija.This thesis covers the development of an application for managing medical practices, aimed at
improving the handling of medical data and administrative processes within the healthcare sector. The
study analyzes existing solutions on the market, which, while functional, often exhibit shortcomings such
as outdated user interfaces and limited flexibility. The regulatory framework of the CEZIH system, which
sets standards for the security and functionality of applications, is also addressed. The proposed
application offers solutions that surpass existing software, providing a better user experience, greater
interoperability, and advanced security features. This application represents a significant step towards
the modernization of healthcare services and the digitalization of operations within medical practices
