This paper is focused on the examination of connection between the premier remote reason exactitude of transmission information and qualities for driving edge correspondence structures and straightforward data cesium (AFCS) identified with transmission of signs from fundamental sources. It's displayed that the mean sq. oversight of transmission picks information properties of AFCS. Varieties between the cutoff purposes of AFCS thought of as summed up correspondence channel and their forward channel square measure investigated. The new impacts appearing in incredible AFCS and in DCS working near Shannon's cutoff square measure thought of also. Amid this works advanced and essential correspondence frameworks were thought of with none inclinations and no confirmation that the use of simple cesium is frequently less able than modernized correspondence structures had been given start inside the no in this way far off past. The secured comes about unambiguously showed the capacity of simple data cesium to transmit the signs while not committal to composing with to a little degree rate up to the uttermost ranges of the forward control
A Effective Cross Layer Multi-Hop Routing Protocol for Heterogeneous Wireless Sensor Network
In today’s scenario to solve the real world problem heterogeneous wireless sensor is necessary. It consists of different sensor with different sensing capability and different energy level. Routing is important task in HWSN from energy dissipation point of view. In HWSN many routing protocols were proposed but many protocols are for single hop communication between cluster head and sink. Here we have designed multi-hop routing protocol for HWSN, which will be energy efficient and also solve the problem of hot spot using unequal clustering. To make this protocol more energy efficient cross layer information exchange approach is used. Using cross layer communication this protocol will get residual energy, quality of link and neighboring nodes information and this information is used in cluster head selection. Moreover there is no need to do broadcast of residual energy for every round because of RDA (regular data acquisition) nodes. We can predict the energy consumption of node, which will conserve the energy using Energy Efficient Fuzzy Based Cross Layer Protocol (EEFCLP). This proposed protocol can achieve longer sensor lifetime and more energy efficiency
Improvement of Garbage Management for NAND Memory System
Recent days increasing the use of flash memory device in embedded systems. Diverse qualities of NAND blaze recollections from hard circles include: a constrained square eradicate check, the inconceivability of set up refresh, and asymmetry in operation granularity. Along these lines different rubbish accumulation procedures for the NAND streak recollections have been proposed. In any case, existing rubbish accumulation procedures obstruct square wear leveling since they utilize a similar technique for both hot and icy information. In this paper, we propose effective junk accumulation and piece administration strategies to enhance piece wear leveling and trash gathering speed. Above all else, information is arranged into three sorts concurring to alteration recurrence - hot information, cool information, and warm data and distinctive sorts of information are put away in various pieces. The delete cost is figured considering information sort, and afterward junk gathering is performed for the hinders whose eradicate costs surpass the limit esteem. Furthermore, unique square records are made in RAM by information sort, and the squares are orchestrated in the request of their eradicate cost
Analytical Modelling of Power Efficient Reliable Operation of Data Fusion in Wireless Sensor Network
Irrespective of inclusion of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) in majority of the research proposition for smart city planning, it is still shrouded with some significant issues. A closer look into problems in WSN shows that energy parameter is the origination point of majority of the other problems in resource-constrained sensors as well as it significant minimizes the reliability in standard sensory operation in adverse environment. Therefore, this manuscript presents a novel analytical model that is meant for establishing a well balance between energy efficiency over multi-path data forwarding and reliable operation with improved network performance. The complete process is emphasized during data fusion stage to ensure data quality too. A simulation study has been carried out using benchmarked test-bed of MEMSIC nodes to find that proposed system offers good energy conservation process during data fusion operation as well as it also ensure good reliable operation in comparison to existing system
Linear Phase FIR Low Pass Filter Design Based on Firefly Algorithm
In this paper, a linear phase Low Pass FIR filter is designed and proposed based on Firefly algorithm. We exploit the exploitation and exploration mechanism with a local search routine to improve the convergence and get higher speed computation. The optimum FIR filters are designed based on the Firefly method for which the finite word length is used to represent coefficients. Furthermore, Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and Differential Evolution algorithm (DE) will be used to show the solution. The results will be compared with PSO and DE methods. Firefly algorithm and Parks–McClellan (PM) algorithm are also compared in this paper thoroughly. The design goal is successfully achieved in all design examples using the Firefly algorithm. They are compared with that obtained by using the PSO and the DE algorithm. For the problem at hand, the simulation results show that the Firefly algorithm outperforms the PSO and DE methods in some of the presented design examples. It also performs well in a portion of the exhibited design examples particularly in speed and quality
Strategy for Foreground Movement Identification Adaptive to Background Variations
Video processing has gained a lot of significance because of its applications in various areas of research. This includes monitoring movements in public places for surveillance. Video sequences from various standard datasets such as I2R, CAVIAR and UCSD are often referred for video processing applications and research. Identification of actors as well as the movements in video sequences should be accomplished with the static and dynamic background. The significance of research in video processing lies in identifying the foreground movement of actors and objects in video sequences. Foreground identification can be done with a static or dynamic background. This type of identification becomes complex while detecting the movements in video sequences with a dynamic background. For identification of foreground movement in video sequences with dynamic background, two algorithms are proposed in this article. The algorithms are termed as Frame Difference between Neighboring Frames using Hue, Saturation and Value (FDNF-HSV) and Frame Difference between Neighboring Frames using Greyscale (FDNF-G). With regard to F-measure, recall and precision, the proposed algorithms are evaluated with state-of-art techniques. Results of evaluation show that, the proposed algorithms have shown enhanced performance
Process Mining in Supply Chains: A Systematic Literature Review
Performance analysis and continuous process improvement efforts are often supported by the construction of process models representing the interactions of the partners in the supply chain. This study was conducted to determine the state of the art in the process mining field, specifically in the context of cross-organizational process. The Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method is used to review a collection of twenty-one papers that are classified according to the Artifact framework of Hevner, et al. and within the Process Mining framework of Van der Aalst. In the reviewed papers, the authors conducted a variety of techniques to establish the event log, which is then used to perform the process mining analysis. Eight of the reviewed papers focus on the definition of concepts or measures. Five of the papers describe models and other abstractions that are used as a theoretical basis for process mining in the context of supply chains. The majority twenty of papers describe some kind of informal method or formal algorithm to perform process mining analysis. Nine of the papers that propose a formal algorithm also present an accompanying software implementation. Eight papers discuss the data preparation challenges and twelve papers discuss process discovery techniques
Coordinated Control of Interconnected Microgrid and Energy Storage System
Several microgrids can be interconnected together to enhance the grid reliability and reduce the cost of supplying power to an island area where conventional power grid cannot be connected. Source and load demand do not properly balance always. Besides that, sometimes power and frequency fluctuation has occurred in MG at island mode. Need to design a special control for maintaining the state of charge (SoC) of energy storage system. This paper proposes a new power supply system for an island area that interconnects two microgrids with a single energy storage system (ESS). An algorithm has been proposed that control the microgrids energy storage system for spinning reserve and load power/frequency regulation purpose. The minimum loading constraints of diesel engine generator (DEG) is considered and the SOC of the ESS is properly maintained
An Analytical Approach for Design of Microstrip Patch (MsP)
A reliable configuration of electromagnetic interactions for antenna design can yield an effective Microstrip patch (MsP) antenna. During its design, the antenna arrays involve issues with parameters (i.e., space, dimension, shape) adjustment. This problem can be tackled with an analytical approach which can help to bring better idea to design the antenna aaray. However, the realistic designs of antenna array are quite expensive while extracting computational accuracy. Thus, to have low cost computational accuracy various meta-heuristic (generic algorithm, partical swarm optimizarion) approaches are used and are considered as effective one in handling the pattern synthesis problems. Howeever, the use of meta-heuristic approaches demands thousands of functions to analyze the antenna design. This manuscript introduces an analytical approach for MsP antenna desing using MATLAB that brings optimization in handling the side lobes and optimizing the reflection as well as radiation responses. The outcomes of the design were analyzed with respect to reflection, radiation coefficients, side lobes and found effective at 10GHz as per computational cost is concern
