    Affect and creativity

    In recent years, scholars have turned their attention to the embodied and the sensorial dimension of organizations and organizing, including creativity. In this entry, affect is presented as a generative concept that allows for a deeper appreciation of the connections between subjects and objects in innovation processes, and the effects their relational activities produce. The term affect refers to embodied events connecting human and non-human actors, whereby entities both shape and, in turn, are shaped by their associations. This entry provides an introduction of the concept of affect and an overview of how it has been deployed in particular in the study of creativity. Moreover, it suggests how innovation scholars can make use of this concept to in their research
