Zobrazení hvězd: pomocí spekroskopie ve vysokém rozlišení a interferometrie na dlouhých základnách
No full textMassive stars are cosmic engines-by exploding as supernovæ, they power galaxies, shape the interstellar medium, and enrich it with heavy elements. Yet, their inner workings remain among the most challenging frontiers in stellar astrophysics. The life of massive stars is critically influenced by multiplicity. Most of them have one or more companions, although a few of them remain single. This raises the question: Could these single stars be the end state of multiple systems? Interferometry is one of the best methods for detecting and characterising multiplicity. The Orion complex is our nearest star-forming region, and thus the most suitable for detailed studies. It hosts a number of massive stars, particularly in the Orion Belt. In this work, we aim to interpret interferometric data in synergy with astrometry, photometry, high-resolution spectroscopy, and spectral-energy distribution of stars in the Orion Belt. On the basis of our successful ESO proposal (ID: 112.25JX, PI A. Oplištilová) for interferometric observations of δ, ε, ζ, σ Ori with the world-class interferometer, the VLTI (the GRAVITY and PIONIER instruments), one can construct well-constrained, complex models of stars in the Orion Belt. After introducing the basics of long-baseline interferometry and presenting an overview of the Orion...Hmotné hvězdy mají zásadní roli v energetickém cyklu vesmíru - explodují jako super- novy, dodávají energii galaxiím, formují mezihvězdné prostředí a obohacují jej o těžké prvky. Jejich přesný vývoj však stále patří mezi obtížněji pochopitelné oblasti stelární astronomie. Život hmotných hvězd je zásadně ovlivněn násobností. Většina z nich má jed- noho či více průvodců, i když některé hvězdy zůstávají osamocené. To vyvolává otázku: Mohou být osamocené hvězdy konečným vývojovým stádiem vícenásobných systémů? Interferometrie je jednou z nejlepších metod pro detekci a charakterizaci vícenásobnosti. Naší nejbližší oblastí pro tvorbu hvězd je Orionův komplex a díky své blízkosti představuje nejvhodnější místo pro detailní studie. Nachází se zde řada hmotných hvězd, a to zejména v Orionově pásu. V této práci si klademe za cíl interpretovat interferometrická data hvězd v Orionově pásu v souladu s astrometrií, fotometrií, spektroskopií s vysokým rozlišením a spektrálním rozložením energie. Na základě interferometrických dat pro δ, ε, ζ, σ Ori z našeho úspěšného návrhu na pozorování špičkovým ESO interferometrem VLTI (instru- menty GRAVITY a PIONIER) lze sestavovat dobře omezené a komplexní modely těchto hvězd. Beyond agar: alternative solid media for cultivation of bacteria
Full text linkThis bachelor thesis focuses on solid culture media used in microbiology, with emphasis on agar as the standard gelling agent and its alternatives. It describes the physicochemical principles of hydrogel formation in hydrophilic polymers and their impact on medium structure. The main part covers agar, including its history, chemical composition, gelation mechanism and interactions with bacteria. Selected natural gelling agents - gelatin, pectin, starch and chitosan - are reviewed with attention to their properties and potential use in bacterial cultivation. Synthetic silica gels and complex natural substrates such as egg white and plant storage organs are also discussed as simple solid media. The aim of the thesis was to summarize knowledge on different types of solid media, compare their characteristics and evaluate the potential of alternative polymers for culture medium preparation.Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá pevnými kultivačními médii využívanými v mikrobiologii, se zaměřením na agar jako standardní ztužovadlo a jeho alternativy. Popisuje fyzikálně-chemické principy gelace hydrofilních polymerů a jejich vliv na strukturu média. Hlavní část je věnována agaru, jeho historii, chemickému složení, mechanismu tvorby gelu a interakci s bakteriemi. Následuje přehled vybraných přírodních ztužovadel - želatiny, pektinu, škrobu a chitosanu - s důrazem na jejich vlastnosti a možnosti použití při kultivaci mikroorganismů. Zmíněny jsou také syntetické silikagely a komplexní přírodniny, například vaječný bílek a rostlinné zásobní orgány, které mohou sloužit jako jednoduchá pevná média. Well-being encompasses a state of mental and physical health, and can also be understood as a state of feeling generally well, having a high level of vitality, a sense of one's own values and goals, being able to cope successfully with stressful situations and having healthy relationships with other people. The thesis deals with proposals for solving and eliminating the high professional load of teachers, often associated with stress, which could lead to burnout syndrome and physiological devastation of the organism. The main outcome and aim is to give recommendations for teachers on how to treat their person and the associated well-being.(česky) Tato diplomová práce se zabývá well-beingem pedagogů základních škol s ohledem na jejich profesní zátěž. Well-being zahrnuje stav duševního a fyzického zdraví, rovněž může být chápán jako stav, kdy se člověk cítí celkově dobře, má vysokou míru vitality, smysl pro vlastní hodnoty a cíle, dokáže se úspěšně vyrovnávat se stresujícími situacemi a mít zdravé vztahy s druhými lidmi. Práce se zabývá návrhy na řešení a eliminaci vysoké profesní zátěže učitelů, často spojené se stresem, která by mohla vést k syndromu vyhoření i fyziologické devastaci organismu. No full text6 Abstract In my thesis I will focus on the importance of specific components of theatre production and their contribution to the identity of the finished work. I will be looking at the work that goes into a theatre production through the lens of collective work, where aside from the director and actors, anyone who has their hands in the creation of the show in any way is considered a contributor. The subject of my analysis will be select productions from Studio Ypsilon from their conception until the end of the first decade of the twenty-first century. This theatre will be used as a model example on which the interaction between components is more easily discernable than that of other theatre groups; the identified practices will be ones hopefully able to be used generally, applicable to collective theatre practice.6 Abstrakt V této práci se zaměřím na pozorování významu jednotlivých komponentů jevištního díla a jejich podílu na identitě inscenace. Na divadelní práci budu nahlížet jako na tvorbu kolektivní, do které se zapojují kromě režiséra a hereckého souboru všichni, kteří se jakýmkoli způsobem na jejím vzniku podílejí. Předmětem analýzy budou vybrané inscenace Studia Ypsilon z období od jeho založení do konce prvního desetiletí jednadvacátého století. Anglicismy v dánských a ruských médiích
Full text linkThis bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of Anglicisms in Danish and Russian media. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of Anglicisms, their contexts, and functions in both languages. Besides that, the thesis deals with the grammatical adaptation of Anglicisms in Danish and Russian. The practical part of the thesis analyzes selected articles from various Danish and Russian media to quantify and categorize Anglicisms. The thesis also examines how Anglicisms, which appear in chosen articles, are adapted and how easy they are to find. The thesis aims to determine in which language Anglicisms occur more frequently and what influence language has on their adaptation. Since the thesis deals with two languages at the same time, the method of comparison is actively used throughout the thesis. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na definici anglicismů, jejich kontexty a funkce v obou jazycích. Dále se práce věnuje gramatické adaptaci anglicismů v dánštině a ruštině. Praktická část práce analyzuje vybrané články z různých dánských a ruských médií s cílem kvantifikovat a kategorizovat výskyt anglicismů. Práce dále zkoumá, jak jsou anglicismy v médiích adaptované a jak jednoduché je bylo najít. Cílem práce je zjistit, v jakém jazyce se anglicismy vyskytují častěji a jaký je vliv jazyka na jejich adaptaci. Jelikož se práce zabývá dvěma jazyky zároveň, v celé práci byla použita také metoda srovnávání. Forms of bucolic poetry in Roman literature of late antiquity: Endelechius and Pomponius
Full text linkThe thesis examines two Late Antique Latin poems and their relationship to the bucolic tradition, especially to Vergil's Eclogues. Pomponius' Versus ad gratiam Domini and Endelechius' De mortibus boum are studied as exemplary cases of two different approaches to the Christian reception of Vergil at the turn of the 4th and 5th centuries. The study traces the generic characteristics of bucolic poetry and its reinterpretation within cento poetry. Based on an analysis of compositional and stylistic devices, it seeks to gain a deeper understanding of this branch of the literary context of Late Antiquity.Diplomová práce se zabývá dvěma pozdněantickými latinskými básněmi a jejich vztahem k bukolické tradici, zejména k Vergiliovým Eklogám. Pomponiovo Versus ad gratiam Domini a Endelechiovo De mortibus boum jsou zkoumány jako modelové příklady dvou různých přístupů ke křesťanské recepci Vergilia na přelomu 4. a 5. století. No full textThe aim of this bachelor's thesis is introducing the characteristics of the Korean royal court cuisine during the Joseon period (1392-1897), including the meals served to the royal family, way of preparation, serving and used ingredients, as well as the food typical for special occasions and rituals. In the latter part, this thesis deals with the preservation of the royal court cuisine as cultural heritage and attempts to evaluate the origins of Korean dishes that are currently at the peak of global popularity within the context of the legacy of royal court cuisine.Předmětem této bakalářské práce je představení charakteru korejské královské kuchyně v období Čosŏn (1392-1910), počínaje od jídel podávaných královské rodině, způsobu přípravy a podávání a využívaných ingrediencí, až po jídla typická pro speciální události a svátky.
