    Assistance à l’ingénierie de logiciels pour mieux protéger la vie privée des utilisateurs

    Prix du meilleur poster du GdR GPL 2024National audienceAlors que les systèmes logiciels deviennent de plus en plus personnalisés pour les utilisateurs,la collecte et l’exploitation des données personnelles ont atteint des niveaux sans précédent.Cette évolution souligne un problème critique sur la protection de la vie privée des utilisateurs.Le respect de réglementations en matière de protection des données personnelles, comme lerèglement général européen sur la protection des données (RGPD), est devenu une nécessitéjuridique. Malgré les obligations légales, il subsiste un manque de méthodes universellementacceptées pour intégrer la gestion de la vie privée dans les applications. Pour aider lesdéveloppeurs, notre objectif principal est d'introduire une approche d'ingénierie logicielleoutillée qui intègre des fonctionnalités de protection des données personnelles dans lesapplications existantes, les rendant ainsi respectueuses de la vie privée. La particularité de notreproposition réside dans son caractère actionnable, qui va au-delà d’une simple descriptiondéclarative de la régulation. Notre travail consiste à présenter les fondements de cette approche : le métamodèle PRIAM (Privacy Assessment Model) et ses artefacts associés. PRIAMmodélise le RGPD en capturant les concepts décrits dans le règlement. Ce métamodèle sert debase à divers artefacts (user stories génériques, schéma de BD) qui s'adaptent à toute applicationspécifique qui nécessite de tenir compte du respect de la vie privée. Notre approche comprendun langage spécifique au domaine (DSL) dérivé du métamodèle PRIAM, des user storiesadaptées à l'application spécifique et une base de données qui stocke à la fois les donnéesspécifiques à l'application et à l'utilisateur nécessaires à la mise en œuvre des droits desutilisateurs en matière de respect de la vie privée.Notre approche se veut non-intrusive sur l'application du fournisseur des traitements. Pour cela,nous avons élaboré un protocole de contrôle d'accès (gestion de l'authentification et desautorisations) et de gestion des consentements externalisé, s'appuyant sur le paradigme ABAC(Attribute-Based Access Control) avec le patron d'architecture des side-cars pour impacter auminimum l'application du fournisseur

    Deformation capacity of fresh cement pastes

However, the origins of this deformation capacity present some ambiguities. This paper aims to contribute to improving the comprehension of the deformation capacity of fresh cement pastes. For this, the effect of water-to-cement ratio (w/c) and superplasticizer (SP) dosage on the viscoelastic properties of cement paste is examined using oscillatory rheology and yield stress measurements. It appears that water to cement ratio affects slightly the critical strain at the end of the linear viscoelastic domain (LVED) and strongly the storage modulus. The addition of superplasticizer seems to have a strong effect on the critical strain. In addition, it was shown that the critical strain at the end of the LVED is associated with strong physical forces (colloidal forces enhanced by early hydrates formation), while the transition strain at the flow onset is due to large structural reorganizations

    Disaster Management on a Regional Scale: Knowledge Platform toward Overall Hotspot Identification

    International audienceAs climate change intensifies, natural events are following suit, potentially disrupting the functioning of cities. It is therefore crucial to identify the interrelationships between different natural events when building more resilient cities, as these events present potential catastrophes upon impact. This study is aimed at building a knowledge platform for the identification of overall risk hotspot areas in the Abruzzo region in Italy. The Abruzzo region is one of the many regions in Italy that is vulnerable to multiple disaster risks. To build this knowledge platform, we used the multi-risk assessment concept to identify the risk hotspot areas of interacting disaster indicators. Our methodology was based on the risk matrix method to assess the interaction between the hazard and the exposure indicators. We overlayed both indicators in a geographic information system environment to estimate these hotspots using graphical analysis. The study results clearly show that risk hotspots are concentrated in urban areas with high population density. Nearly half of the population lives in these areas. It is important to note that risk hotspots are not isolated in urban areas. They often co-occur with multiple risks, which is useful for determining strategic interventionmeasures to implement for disaster risk reduction. The multi-risk hotspot map developed from this research is invaluable for planning risk reduction measures. It is essential for supporting decision-making and emergency response planning in the event of impact from hazards that could cause cascading disasters

    Synthesis of novel reactive flame retardant to improve fire resistance and mechanical properties in epoxy resin

    International audienceA novel reactive flame-retardant (FR), phosphorus-modified tetraethylenepentamine (TEPA-m-MVP), was prepared via aza-Michael addition process, using dimethyl vinylphosphonate (MVP). TEPA-m-MVP was successfully covalently introduced into the structure of the epoxy system, into the epoxy resin matrix synthesised from tetraethylenepentamine (TEPA) and diglycidyl ether bisphenol A (DGEBA) reaction, leading to the development of a flame-retardant epoxy resin (FR-EP). The curing behaviour, mechanical properties, thermal stability and flame-retardant behaviour of FR-EP samples were investigated and compared to the behaviour of the neat epoxy resin (EP). FR-EPs showed an increase in glass transition temperature (Tg), from 120 to 147 °C upon integrating TEPA-m-MVP into the epoxy resin structure, while the value of the E modulus remained unaffected. Furthermore, FR-EP-2%P sample with the optimal P content, approximately 2 wt%, displayed excellent flame-retardant properties. In comparison to EP, total heat release (THR) and peak heat release rate (pHRR) for FR-EP-2%P decreased from 22.6 to 15.3 kJ.g−1 and from 1557 to 572 kW.m−2, respectively. In addition, an interesting impact of the crosslinking density of FR-EP samples on the fire behaviour was observed. This work presents a new strategy for the simultaneous modification of the flame retardancy and mechanical properties of epoxy systems

    An original device to assess the respiratory impact of indoor air VOCs mixture using an in vitro approach

    International audienceExposure to indoor air pollution, particularly volatile organic compounds (VOCs), has been recognized as a risk factor in the development of respiratory and allergic diseases. VOCs are mainly emitted continuously at low concentrations from construction furniture and decoration products. Measurement campaigns carried out in new dwellings in France have shown that aldehydes predominate with a tendency to decrease formaldehyde concentrations and to increase those in hexanal. As the main route of VOCs exposure is inhalation, this project assessed the impact of a mixture of 17 VOCs representative of indoor air (in quality and quantity) on respiratory health using an in vitro approach. This original work was based on the set-up of an experimental device, combining a gas generation and dilution bench and exposure to the air-liquid interface (ALI) adapted to the reconstructed human airway epithelium model. The VOC mixture was enriched with formaldehyde or hexanal in different proportions (from 20 to 240 µg.m−3) to study the biological impact of these aldehydes after repeated exposures of airway epithelium. After examination of the stability of the VOC concentrations in generated mixtures and the found of the optimal operating conditions for the dynamic gas generating system, the gaseous mixtures were distributed to the epithelium using the ALI exposure system providing direct contact between the epithelium and the tested mixtures. Our device lead to reproduce real conditions of human exposure. The results showed that the inflammatory response, assessed by the production of four cytokines, varied according to the nature of the aldehyde present in the VOC mixture (formaldehyde or hexanal), its concentration, and the duration and number of exposures applied. The most original and innovative results concern those obtained with hexanal, pollutant under-researched. Our results showed that this aldehyde could pose risks to respiratory health

    A review of flash‐floods management: From hydrological modeling to crisis management

    International audienceIn a context of climate change, flash‐floods are expected to increase in frequency. Considering their devastating impacts, it is primordial to safeguard the exposed population and infrastructure. This is the responsibility of crisis managers but they face difficulties due to the rapidity of these events. The focus of this study was to characterize the extent of the link between hydrologists and crisis managers. It also aimed to determine the limiting and the fostering factors to an effective integration of forecasting in crisis management during flash‐floods. This was achieved through an extensive and methodological study of available literature in selected platforms. The models encountered were characterized on multiple levels including the physical, geographical and crisis management level. The results revealed a limited link between the two involved parties with limiting factors such as the complexity of the modeling approach, the insufficient projection in the implications of operationality of the models proposed and the financial aspect. On the other hand, acknowledging the threat of flash‐floods and conducting cost–benefit‐analysis were pinpointed as fostering factors. This study showed to reconsider the forecasting methods employed, particularly, the integration of machine learning, and the needs of end‐user in these applications in a crisis management context

    A Comparative Evaluation of Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis Techniques for Selecting the Appropriate Vector Management Strategy in the Northern Zone of Plateau State, Nigeria

    International audienceAccurate assessment of the complexity of malaria transmission dynamics requires the selection of appropriate Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) techniques that enable thorough analysis of risk factor parameters and structuring of decision problems into well-defined outcomes. A comparative study and analysis of multi-criteria decision-making methods such as TOPSIS, PROMETHEE II, MAUT and COPRAS was carried out using the reference rankings of MULTIMOORA and MOOSRA to evaluate the consistency of the results of these techniques and to rank the risk factors according to the vulnerability of mosquito breeding habitats and the risk of malaria transmission in the study area. The results indicate that TOPSIS ranked the alternative similarly to the reference ranking, while PROMETHEE II, MAUT, and COPRAS were ranked equally according to the weighted Spearman correlation coefficient and the weighted sum rank similarity coefficient analysis. The degree of consistency with which the risk factors in the study area were analyzed through this comparative study shows that the TOPSIS technique is suitable for its application in malaria epidemiology to determine the appropriate intervention measure for vector management in the northern zone of up to certain Plateau State
