No full textIn this article, the literary genre of the book Iturria (Susa, 2019) by UnaiElorriaga is considered and the metaliterary and intertextual resources presentin the work are analyzed. Elorriaga worked for the first time in this book theproduction of short stories and completed a short story cycle. In this type of workthe stories are independent, but they are connected to each other thanks to theelaboration of characters, space, themes or time. In addition, a narrative fra-mework usually links all the stories together. Thus, although the narratives areindependent, they are part of a larger union and these links allow the book to beread as a cycle. Likewise, the metaliterary elaboration and its relation to theliterary tradition of Eastern Europe also give unity to Iturria: the narrative fra-mework offers a journey through that Europe and, through the literary gathe-rings of its protagonists, reflects on the source or origin of these stories.Artikulu honetan Unai Elorriagaren Iturria (Susa, 2019) liburuaren generoliterarioari erreparatzen zaio eta obran nonahi diren metaliteratura zein tes-tuartekotasun baliabideak aztertzen dira. Elorriagak ipuingintza landu zuenlehenbizikoz liburu horretan eta short story cycle edo ipuin laburren ziklo batondu zuen. Mota horretako lanetan narrazioak beregainak dira, baina elkarrenartean harilkatuta daude, pertsonaien, espazioaren, gaien edota denboraren lan-ketari esker. Gainera, marko narratibo edo narrazio gidari batek saretu ohi dituipuin guztiak. Horrela, narrazioak independenteak izan arren batasun handiagobaten parte dira eta lotura horiek liburua ziklo bezala irakurtzea ahalbidetzendute. Orobat, lanketa metaliterarioak eta Ekialdeko Europako tradizio literarioa-rekin duen harremanak ere batasuna ematen diote Iturriari: marko narratiboanbidaia bat eskaintzen da Europa horretan barrena, eta, protagonisten solasaldiliterarioen bitartez, ipuin hauen iturriari edo jatorriari buruz hausnartuko da
