No full textThe main objective of this article has been to analyze the influence of litera-ry mediators in the reading choices of students who are finishing Primary Educa-tion. In order to carry out the research, in the theoretical framework of theinvestigation, the processes of reading choices, the importance of literary media-tors, the reading needs of children and the opinions of experts on school literarycanons have been analyzed. Then, taking these variables into account, a ques-tionnaire was created. As a third step, the questionnaire was given to 97 studentsin 5th and 6th grades of primary school to be filled in on paper. Based on theresults obtained from the questionnaire, it was concluded that the family conti-nues having a great impact on reading choices and on reader habits and that theschool has a great influence on the choice of books, but that in the choice ofbooks new mediators are increasingly present among 12-year-old students, suchas youtubers.Artikulu honen helburu nagusia Lehen Hezkuntza amaitzen ari diren ikas-leen irakurketa hautaketan bitartekariek duten eragina aztertzea izan da. Iker-keta aurrera eramateko, ikerketaren marko teorikoan, liburuen hautaketa proze-suak, bitartekarien garrantzia, haurren irakurketa beharrak eta eskolako litera-tur kanonen inguruan adituek esandakoak aztertu dira. Ondoren, aldagai horiekkontuan hartuz, galdetegi bat sortu da. Hirugarren urrats bezala, ikastetxe ba-teko Lehen Hezkuntzako 5. eta 6. mailako 97 ikasleri pasa zaie galdetegia, pape-rean idatziz betetzeko. Galdetegiak lortutako emaitzei erreparatuz, ondorioztatuda irakurketa hautuetan eta ohituretan familiak pisu handia izaten jarraitzenduela eta eskolak liburu aukeraketan eragin handia duela, baina liburuen aukera-ketan bitartekari berriek geroz eta presentzia handiagoa dutela 12 urteko ikas-leen artean, besteak beste, youtuber-ek
