No full textLa cosiddetta maternità surrogata è una pratica in crescente diffusione in vari paesi del mondo. Dietro le apparenze di una presunta libertà della donna di disporre liberamente del proprio corpo, essa nasconde la realtà di uno sfruttamento delle donne appartenenti alle fasce socialmente e geograficamente più vulnerabili, che ha tutte le caratteristiche di una moderna forma di schiavitù posta al servizio di cospicui interessi economici. Le radici di questo fenomeno si trovano in una plurisecolare tradizione di svalutazione della donna e della sua corporeità che ha permeato le più diverse culture e continua ancora oggi, in forma latente, nonostante il riconoscimento ufficiale della sua pari dignità sul piano giuridico

Get PDFSummary: The author addresses the question of the teaching on the One God in Sacred Scripture. There is a progression in divine revelation between the two Testaments, but we may ask ourselves whether accepting this fact necessarily means that it is to be interpreted as a succession in the revelation of the divine Persons. The author presents the different forms of the revelation of the One God in each of the Testaments, before concluding that, being the ‘economy’ of salvation, the ever free and gratuitous overflowing of the love that God is in Himself, this revelation attains its highest point in the ‘definition’ of God as love.

Bioethics needs metaphysics when, confronted by the reality of bioethical pluralism, looks for a final rational justification of the choices it must make in order to construct one bioethical model. Metaphysics also acts as a mediator between rational and theological knowledge.
