The teachers were also knowledgeable on the MTB–MLE Curriculum when they were classified according to civil status, grade level taught, and length of teaching experience. The implementation of the MTB–MLE Curriculum was high when classified according to civil status, grade level taught, and length of service. There were no significant differences in the teachers’ knowledge on MTB–MLE Curriculum when pegged or categorized as to the variables being studied. The study also revealed that there was a significant relationship in the teachers’ knowledge and implementation of the MTB–MLE Curriculum. The level of implementation and the respondent’s knowledge of the MTB–MLE are independent of their personal characteristics. The more knowledgeable they are of the MTB–MLE Curriculum, the better is the implementation of the project

Multiple Intelligences (MIs) provides a dimension that every human being differs from one another. This study was conducted to determine the MIs of 167 College of Teacher Education students during the first semester, Academic Year 2013–2014 at Guimaras State College – Mosqueda Campus, Jordan, Guimaras using correlation research design. The instrument used was eight dimensions in the Multiple Intelligences Profiling Questionnaire (MIPQ) of Gardner, adapted from Bermman (1998), McKenzie (1999), and Armstrong (2009). Each type of intelligence consisted of ten statements where students were asked to answer every item of the questionnaire concerning what they feel in their lives. The researchers administered the questionnaire to the respondents using a researcher-made questionnaire. The panel of experts determined the validity of the questionnaire using the eight-point criteria for content validity by Good and Scates and Lawsche’s Content Validity Ratio. Cronbach alpha was used to determine the reliability of the questionnaire. The statistical tools used were frequency count, percentage, mean, t-test, and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). Results revealed that the majority of the respondents were females, aging between 16–25 years old. The respondents showed a strong inclination towards Verbal-Linguistic, Musical, Interpersonal, and Intrapersonal intelligences. Moreover, among the College of Teacher Education students, Verbal-Linguistic was the dominant intelligence. However, education students showed lowest MIs on Logical-Mathematical, Naturalistic, Visual-Spatial, and Bodily-Kinesthetic. Results further showed that Verbal-Linguistic, Musical, Interpersonal, Bodily-Kinesthetic, and Logical-Mathematical intelligences have a significant relationship in the academic performance of the respondents. It means that the respondents were actively high in some aspects of intelligences but not in others

Financial performance was measured using Return on Investment (ROI) and Payback Period (PBP) and inferentially described using Pearson’s Chi-Square. The organic intensive milkfish aquaculture production system significantly gained the highest ROI and lowest in PBP, followed by extensive, semi-intensive, and inorganic intensive aquaculture system which significantly gained the lowest return on investment and significantly highest in payback period. The intensive milkfish aquaculture system that introduced organic feeds commensurate a significant higher productivity and profitability compared to other milkfish aquaculture system. Greater efforts are made with respect to the sourcing of organic raw materials for the feed industry for sustainability of the growth of the aquaculture sector in the province and Philippines but its formulations must be further improved for better feed conversion efficiency and to minimize environmental impacts

Biochar is a charcoal used as a soil amendment. It is a stable solid, rich in carbon, and can endure in the ground for thousands of years. The process of producing biochar is the same when making charcoal, but with the aid of a modified burner. This study was conducted to determine the growth and yield performance of potted bell pepper using Biochar as soil amendment. The growth parameters were plant height (cm.) and leaf growth while the yield parameters were fruit weight (grams) and fruit diameter (cm.). The research design was Complete Randomized Design. There was no significant difference in the growth performance during the first data gathering, but the number of leaves showed a significant difference, wherein bell pepper planted on a soil media added with different levels of Biochar showed better performance than those with no Biochar. Furthermore, a significant difference was observed during the second to fourth data gathering for both plant height, and leaves. The potted bell pepper applied with different levels of Biochar showed better performance than those with no Biochar applications. As to yield performance of bell pepper, the fruit diameter and weight showed a significant difference when because some bell peppers without biochar additive did not bear fruits. Therefore, the different levels of Biochar application as soil amendment significantly resulted in better yield performance of bell pepper up to the fourth harvest. The Biochar applications of up to 3.0 kgs significantly resulted in better growth and yield performance of the potted bell pepper

Educational games explicitly designed with educational purposes and help people learn about certain subjects, expand concepts, reinforce development, understand a historical event or culture or assistthem in learning skills as they play games. The study aimed to determine the effectiveness of educational games as instructional tools in teaching College Algebra among first-year students. Data were collected, organized, presented, analyzed, and interpreted usingthe Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) software program. Subjects in the experimental group had better performance than the control group. Based on their pre-test mean score and an increase in meanscore on post-test shows the success and impact of the intervention. Likewise, there were significant differences between the pre-test and post-test results on the experimental group. These results revealed thateducational games as instructional tools increase the performance of the learners. This finding is evidence that the educational game has the potential to facilitate students’ learning of college algebra
