Breaking the 3D Dataset Bottleneck: Fast Scalable Generation of Aligned 3D Assets from Scratch for Category 6D Pose Estimation and Robotic Grasping
International audienceWhile 2D vision has been revolutionized by large-scale datasets like ImageNet, 3D vision remains constrained by the scarcity of high-quality, canonically aligned data. We introduce the first scalable, automated framework that generates complete category-level 6D pose datasets directly from text prompts, bypassing the need for existing 3D assets. Our method overcomes key challenges by: (1) ensuring reliable, scalable asset generation via a controlled text-to-image-to-3D pipeline; (2) enforcing built-in canonical alignment through depth-conditioned generation, achieving a 96\% pose consistency rate; and (3) enabling large-scale 6D annotation via mixed reality rendering. The pipeline produces high-quality, aligned 3D meshes in under 3 minutes per object—a 5–20 speedup over traditional scanning. We generate over 1,000 instances for each of the 153 categories in the Omni6Dpose benchmark, culminating in 153,000 aligned meshes—a >40 increase in instances per category over previous aligned real-world datasets. Extensive evaluation demonstrates competitive zero-shot sim2real transfer on the NOCS 6D pose benchmark and superior robotic grasping performance in both simulation and real-world zero-shot transfer, where aligned meshes prove essential for success. We release the largest publicly available aligned 3D mesh dataset, largest category-level 6D pose dataset, grasping simulation environments, and open-source pipeline, providing a critical step toward foundation models for 3D understanding and enabling efficient, unlimited generation of task-specific 3D data from scratch

Digital patient decision aids for endometriosis management: a scoping review protocol.
International audienceIntroduction Endometriosis is a chronic, oestrogen-dependent condition with a wide range of symptoms and comorbidities that significantly affect physical, emotional and psychological well-being, as well as quality of life. Women with endometriosis often face complex treatment decisions with no universally accepted gold-standard therapy. Shared decision-making, supported by patient decision aids (PtDAs), can enhance patient knowledge and promote informed preferences and decisions. Digital PtDAs, in particular, offer potential for personalised, interactive and accessible decision support. Their characteristics, development process and evaluation in endometriosis care remain underexplored. The objective of this scoping review is to map the existing literature on digital PtDAs developed for women of reproductive age (18–49) with endometriosis, across a range of healthcare and digital health contexts. Methods and analysis This scoping review will follow the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) methodology for scoping reviews. A comprehensive three-step search, developed with an information specialist, will be conducted across MEDLINE (PubMed), CINAHL, Embase, Web of Science, Cochrane databases and grey literature sources. Citations will be imported into Rayyan for screening. Two independent reviewers will conduct study selection, data extraction and analysis. Data will be summarised using tables and descriptive content analysis to identify key features, development processes and evaluation methods of digital PtDAs. The review will be reported in accordance with Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews guidelines. Ethics and dissemination This review started off in July 2025, and the anticipated end date is November 2025. We plan to disseminate this research through publications, presentations at relevant national and international conferences and meetings with relevant stakeholders. This scoping review protocol has been registered at Open Science Framework (osf.io/fp86m). As this scoping review will use data from published and publicly available sources, research ethics approval is not required
Neoadjuvant immune checkpoint blockade before chemoradiation for cervical squamous carcinoma (GINECO window-of-opportunity COLIBRI study): a phase II trial
International audienceCombining immunotherapy with chemoradiation is effective in locally advanced cervical cancer. However, the impact of induction combination immunotherapy on immune modulation and treatment response is poorly understood. In this phase II trial (NCT04256213), 40 females with locally advanced cervical carcinoma received one cycle of nivolumab-plus-ipilimumab immunotherapy before standard chemoradiation, followed by maintenance nivolumab. We show, using multiplex-immunofluorescence tissue imaging, a significantly increased CD8+/FOXP3+ cell ratio (primary endpoint; increase of 0.87 cells/mm², P = 0.0164) and proliferative CD8+ T-cell density after one cycle of combination immunotherapy. HOT score (27-gene-based signature identifying immunologically active tumors) also increased significantly (exploratory analysis; 0.17, P < 0.0001). Objective response rates (secondary endpoint) were 13% immediately after combination immunotherapy, 98% (65% complete response) after chemoradiation, and 90% at treatment completion. High HOT score at baseline and immune changes induced by combination immunotherapy were associated with complete response at treatment completion. Induction immunotherapy may prime tumors for improved response to standard therapy
Best hypnotic drug choice for rapid sequence induction in the operating room: study protocol for a 3-arm superiority open-labeled randomized controlled trial with blinded evaluation of the primary outcome (the HyPnotiKs study)
International audiencePropofol is the most frequently used hypnotic during rapid sequence induction in patients at risk of pulmonary aspiration of gastric contents worldwide. Its most common side effect is to induce hypotension due to dose-dependent vasoplegia. Ketamine is an alternative with pharmacological hemodynamic stability but a higher risk of postoperative delirium. Ketofol, an equimolar combination of these two hypnotics, has recently been proposed in this setting. The objective of this study is to demonstrate the superiority of ketamine (or ketofol) compared to propofol, in association with a neuromuscular blocking agent, for achieving tracheal intubation without hypotension in patients undergoing surgery under general anesthesia and at risk of pulmonary aspiration of gastric contents

A characteristic mapping method with source terms: Applications to ideal magnetohydrodynamics
International audienceThis work introduces a generalized characteristic mapping method designed to handle non-linear advection with source terms. The semi-Lagrangian approach advances the flow map, incorporating the source term via the Duhamel integral. We derive a recursive formula for the time decomposition of the map and the source term integral, enhancing computational efficiency. Benchmark computations are presented for a test case with an exact solution and for two-dimensional ideal incompressible magnetohydrodynamics (MHD). Results demonstrate third-order accuracy in both space and time. The submap decomposition method achieves exceptionally high resolution, as illustrated by zooming into fine-scale current sheets. An error estimate is performed and suggests third order convergence in space and time, which is in agreement with the numerical results
