Zum Nutzen Früher Hilfen aus Sicht der Eltern : Ergebnisse der Evaluation des Eltern-Kind-Angebotes "SOS-Spielen zu Hause"
No full textWährend der Nachweis der Wirksamkeit von Unterstützungsangeboten in der Forschung und Evaluation Früher Hilfen im Fokus steht, erfährt die Analyse des Nutzens für die betreuten Familien nur wenig Aufmerksamkeit. In der hier referierten Evaluationsstudie wurde unter Rückgriff auf den methodologischen Rahmen sozialpädagogischer Nutzerforschung der Nutzen des aufsuchenden Eltern-Kind-Angebotes „SOS-Spielen zu Hause“ aus der Perspektive der Eltern vertiefend untersucht. Es zeigte sich, dass der subjektiv wahrgenommene Nutzen vielschichtig ist. Neben positiven Veränderungen beim Kind ergibt sich für die Mütter selbst durch die Programmteilnahme ein Nutzen instrumenteller Art, in dem sie konkrete Tipps und Anregungen für das Spielen mit dem Kind erhalten. Zudem werden durch das Setting der Spielbesuche Wahrnehmungs- und Reflexionsprozesse angestoßen. Der daraus resultierende Nutzen reicht von einem intensiveren und bewussteren Spielen im Alltag bis zur Stärkung der emotionalen Bindung zum Kind. Auch wenn sich der Nutzen je individuell in Abhängigkeit von einer Vielzahl von Kontextfaktoren realisiert, konnte als allgemein nutzenfördernd die Qualität der Hilfebeziehung rekonstruiert werden, was an die aktuelle Befundlage zu Wirkfaktoren Früher Hilfen anschlussfähig ist.While the focus is on proving the effectiveness of early intervention programs in research and evaluation, the analysis of the benefits for the families receives little attention. In the evaluation study presented here, the benefits of the program "SOS-Spielen zu Hause" from the parents' perspective were examined in greater depth using the methodological framework of user research in social work. It turned out that the subjectively perceived benefit is multi-layered. In addition to positive changes in the child´s behavior, the mothers themselves benefit from participating in the program in an instrumental way, in which they receive concrete tips and suggestions for playing with the child. In addition, the setting triggers processes of perception and reflection. The resulting benefits range from more intensive and conscious play in everyday life to strengthening the emotional bond with the child. Even if the benefit is realized individually depending on a multitude of context factors, the quality of the relationship between the parents, their child and the semi-professionals could be identified as generally benefit-promoting, which can be connected to the current findings on the impact factors of early intervention programs
Quantitative Modelling of the EUR/CHF Exchange Rate During the Target Zone Regime of September 2011 to January 2015: A Correction
No full textLera and Sornette (2016) derive an analytical expression for the conditional volatility of the (unobservable) economic fundamental in Krugman (1991)'s target zone model by locally inverting the relation between the exchange rate and its fundamental value, such that it can be modelled as a function of observable variables only. They use this Expression to empirically analyze the suitability of the Krugman model in describing the EUR-CHF minimum exchange rate regime that the Swiss National Bank implemented from September 6, 2011 to January 15, 2015. This expression, however, contains an error in Equation (3.6), where the scalar 2 should be raised to the power of 3/4 instead of being raised to the power of 1/4. Similarly, in the empirical analysis (the absolute value of) the semi-elasticity of money demand in Equation (4.19) is in an incorrect time unit. This note corrects the two errors
Gender differences in the perception of gamification elements for fitness systems
No full textIn this paper, we present results from a storyboards-based study (N=178) to assess gender differences in the perception of gamification elements for persuasive fitness systems. We found that females prefer personalized goals and collecting points, while males perceived the persuasiveness of competition and cheating as significantly higher.
