Reverberation Chambers à la carte: An overview of the different mode-stirring techniques

    No full text
International audienceReverberation chambers (RC), a name inspired in room acoustics, are also known in literature as reverberating, reverb, mode-stirred or mode-tuned chambers. In their basic form, they consist of a shielded metallic enclosure, forming a cavity resonator, together with some mode-stirring mechanism. The main goal of such stirring mechanism is to generate an amplitude-varying electromagnetic field that is ideally statistically uniform

    A Dual-Band Dual-Circular Polarization Antenna for Ka-Band Satellite Communications

    No full text
International audienceA novel Ka-band dual-band dual circularly polarized antenna array is presented in this letter. A dual-band antenna with left-hand circular polarization for the Ka-band downlink frequencies and right-hand circular polarization for the Ka-band uplink frequencies is realized with compact annular ring slots. By applying the sequential rotation technique, a 2×2 subarray with good performance is obtained. This paper describes the design process and presents simulation and measurement results

Antenna array receiver for television by satellite

    No full text
International audienceParabolic antennas are generally used to receive the television channels transmittedby geostationary satellites. The carrier frequency is between 10.7 and 12.7 GHz for Ku transmit-ters. The gain of the receiver antenna depends on its geographical position and the position oftargeted satellite. It is commonly between 25 and 35 dBi corresponding to an antenna diameterof about 30 to 100 cm. A Low Noise Block is placed at the focus of the parabola. Theantenna must be mechanically oriented towards the satellite. Our research objective is to realize a plate antenna with the possibility of signal receiving withoutmechanical orientation. This may be done using antenna arrays

Une preuve formelle de l'algorithme de Tarjan-1972 pour trouver les composantes fortement connexes dans un graphe

    No full text

Knowledge Discovery of Port Scans from Darknet

    No full text
International audiencePort scanning is widely used in Internet prior for attacks in order to identify accessible and potentially vulnerable hosts. In this work, we propose an approach that allows to discover port scanning behavior patterns and group properties of port scans. This approach is based on graph modelling and graph mining. It provides to security analysts relevant information of what services are jointly targeted, and the relationship of the scanned ports. This is helpful to assess the skills and strategy of the attacker. We applied our method to data collected from a large darknet data, i.e. a full /20 network where no machines or services are or have been hosted to study scanning activities

A WIDEBAND CONFORMAL FLEXIBLE MONOPOLE ANTENNA

    No full text
International audienceThis paper presents the development and design of conformal flexible monopoles antennas. It can be used on different curved surfaces while maintaining all its parameters, The advantage of this monopole disc antenna consist on his capacity to remain matched for all radius of curvature. In addition, when the radius of curvature increase, the radiation pattern change from dipolar behavior (null in the broadside) to boresight axis. The proposed monopole antenna would be a good candidate for tracking radar application. The simulated results are compared successfully with experimental results

    Tropical matchings in vertex-colored graphs

    No full text
International audienceA subgraph of a vertex-colored graph is said to be tropical whenever it contains all colors of the original graph. In this work we study the problem of finding, if any, maximum tropical matchings in vertex-colored graphs. We show that this problem is polynomial. We also provide a polynomial algorithm of time for finding, if any, a minimum tropical matching in vertex-colored graphs
