    Catholic High School was originally known under the name St. Vincent's Academy created by the congregation of the Brothers of the Secret Heart in 1894. As the student body grew, new facilities were constructed on North and 4th streets. It was during this time of transition (1929) that the school name was changed to Catholic High School. The school was moved to its current location at Hearthstone Drive in 1957
