"Buccaneer Log" Broadmoor Junior-Senior High School, 1995
Broadmoor Junior-Senior High School was constructed and opening in 1960 in suburban South Baton Rouge. The school was responsible for the education of children and young adults (7th through 12th grades) from the Broadmoor, Forest Oaks, Harrington Place, Red Oaks, Sherwood Forest, Villa del Rey, and Windsor Place subdivisions and neighborhoods. Shortly after the school was constructed an influx in the student population forced the East Baton Rouge Parish School Board to consider an alternative location for Junior High students until a new school could be constructed. Broadmoor High School is still open today and is located at 10100 Goodwood Blvd
"The Sword" Bishop Sullivan High School, 1995
Bishop Sullivan High School was opened by the Catholic Archdiocese of Baton Rouge in 1983. The school was named after Bishop Joseph V. Sullivan in honor of the late bishop. However, in 2005, allegations arose concerning sexual abuse and the school decided to change it's name to the name that had been originally chosen for the school before it was build; St. Michael the Archangel High School. The school serves 9th -12th graders and is considered a co-ed college preparatory school. The school is located at 17521 Monitor Avenue
