The school offers classes for students from preschool and kindergarten through eighth grade. The Daughters of Jesus served the parish from 1957 through June 2002, and the school is now staffed by dedicated lay persons. St. Aloysius is located at 2025 Stuart Avenue

    Bishop Sullivan High School was opened by the Catholic Archdiocese of Baton Rouge in 1983. The school was named after Bishop Joseph V. Sullivan in honor of the late bishop. However, in 2005, allegations arose concerning sexual abuse and the school decided to change it's name to the name that had been originally chosen for the school before it was build; St. Michael the Archangel High School. The school serves 9th -12th graders and is considered a co-ed college preparatory school. The school is located at 17521 Monitor Avenue
