Painted mask made by Malcolm Procter (Wolf Delux), 2021
Malcolm Procter, who goes by the artist name of Wolf Delux, painted this mask during the COVID-19 pandemic. His distinctive linework style is done with paint or bleach to create the desired effect on each item. Procter is a Black artist and was born and raised in Seattle. His work takes inspiration from many sources, including pop art, African mud cloth, and graffiti and street art.
