New Perspectives in Medical Oncology : Molecular Medicine and its Perspectives
The molecular medicine of cancer is based on the identification of genomic abnormalities in the DNA of tumor cells, guiding the treatment of patients, by choosing inhibitors acting on the mutated proteins encoded by the mutated genes. However, for the last 10 years, there has been a very rapid emergence of a new corpus of knowledge describing the genomic abnormalities of cancer cells in international programs such as ICGC or TCGA, leading to new nosological classifications, but also showing the extreme complexity and clonal variability of cancer cells in the human patient. The optimal use of this body of new data effectively. This requires 1) the construction of diagnostic platforms progressively exploring with greater depth the molecular anomalies of each individual patient and 2) the organization of multidisciplinary molecular consultation meetings to integrate these data into the clinical and global context of the patient. This evolution will also require a growingcontribution of bio-informatics. This short article provides a short update on the evolution of this molecular medicine of cancer

The Effect of TPA on In-Hospital Mortality in Patients Hospitalized with Ischemic Stroke in Florida from 2008-2012
Introduction. In the U.S., tissue Plasminogen Activator (tPA) is the only approved thrombolytic drug to re-canalize occluded arteries in patients with acute ischemic stroke (AIS). With timely administration, tPA may improve the patient's prognosis. The percentage of AIS patients that receive tPA in the U.S., however, varies from 3.0% to 8.5%. Further, there is scarce information on the impact of tPA and short-term mortality among Floridians hospitalized with AIS. This study investigates factors associated with in-hospital mortality among patients admitted to Florida hospitals with AIS who received tPA compared to those who did not receive the thrombolytic.Methods. This is a secondary analysis of the Florida Stroke Registry for 2008-2012. We assessed the association between tPA administration and in-hospital mortality utilizing logistic regression to estimate unadjusted and adjusted odds ratios. Pearson correlation coefficients were used to diagnose collinearity.Results. A total of 133,052 ischemic stroke patients (51.9% women, average age 71.7±14.4 years) comprised our study sample. Approximately 5% (6,357) of AIS patients received tPA. After adjusting for potential confounders, AIS patients who received tPA were twice as likely to die than AIS patients not receiving tPA (OR=2.0; 95% CI= 1.8-2.2). AIS patients 90 years or older were five times more likely to die than AIS patients < 60 years (OR=5.0; 95% CI 4.4-5.7). Women were less likely to die compared to men (OR=0.9; 95% CI=0.87-0.99). Factors significantly increasing the likelihood of in-hospital mortality among AIS patients receiving tPA included being admitted to teaching hospitals (OR=1.6, 95% CI=1.5-1.7), lack of health insurance coverage (OR=2.0, 95% CI=1.8-2.3), extended hospitalization length of stay > 6 days (OR=1.2, 95% CI= 1.1-1.2), and not being assigned emergent priority at admission (OR=2.7, 95% CI= 2.5-2.9).Conclusion. Our findings suggest that the likelihood of in-hospital mortality among Floridian patients with AIS is twice as higher among those receiving tPA than those AIS patients not receiving the thrombolytic. Increasing age, being a man and admitted to a teaching hospital, lack of health insurance, extended length of stay, and not receiving emergent priority at admission also increased the likelihood of in-hospital death for AIS patients after receiving tPA
The « University Hospital Center Web 3.0 » on the Road : From the Digital University and the Connected Hospital Towards an Universal Virtual UHC
The concept of a virtual university hospital center is the combination of the contributions of e-health and e-learning in healthcare. It is based on innovative and advanced use of digital technologies, broadband, WIFI, mobile tools, platforms, digital communication, augmented reality, gamification, social networks. It now seems conceivable to create a universal virtual UHC WEB3.0, linking hospitals and universities of health, digitized and virtual, all over the world, interconnected in the form of vast networks, multipolar, multi-lingual, multi-thematic, and transdisciplinary. This "VIRTUAL UHC WEB 3.0", can become a wonderful tool, pragmatic, efficient, economically profitable, and solidary
Falsified Medicines, a Crime without Punishment
Falsified medicines are a global threat that does not stop growing. Its trafficking causes more deaths than malaria while being more profitable than drug smuggling. Not only it threatens public health but also the economic development of the poorest countries. Taking advantage of globalization, it affects now every country even the most developed, and any type of pharmaceutical products, ranging from treatments against cancer to erectile dysfunction pills. Considered the biggest black market in the world, it remains underestimated by politicians, health professionals, and the public. Raising awareness at every level about the health risks associated with falsified medicines is a vital emergency

Rheumatoid Arthritis in Morocco: Past and Present
In Morocco, the socio-economic impact of the disease is significant. The difficulties of the patients in accessing treatment, the consequences on their personal and familial life have been highlighted. Among them, the negative consequences on the schooling of female children are significant. Because of this, prevention and information are of high importance in the management of patients as well as the use of treatment at a « reasonable cost ». Moreover, the comparison of the data, thanks to inclusion in international studies, has allowed the demonstration of the severity of the disease, mainly due to delayed diagnosis, delay in referral to rheumatologists, and low socioeconomic status. The setting up of a cohort of recent polyarthritis followed over a two-year period has highlighted the importance of very early diagnosis and management and the resultingsignificant improvement in the prognosis of the disease. It has been followed by the setting up of a cohort of recent polyarthritis the objective of which is a follow-up of recent polyarthritis progressing less than one year over a period of ten years and the constitution of a database in order to allow studies on the diagnosis, prognosis, epidemiology and socioeconomic impact of recent polyarthritis in Morocco as well as the use of affordable economic treatment
True and False Dangers of Milk and Milk Products
None of the food classes is to be neglected, as each presents nutritional specificities, in terms of vitamins, oligo-elements, minerals, essential amino acids, omega-3, and 6 polyunsaturated fatty acids. Milk and milk products occupy a specific place. In terms of a diversified diet, their presence ensures better health, because of the reduction of the number of pathologies. For nay years, milk suffers many attacks, most of them not justified, intuitive, or pseudo-scientific. Thus, milk products and milk detractors, are using, globally, two-line of arguments. One is using false or abusive scientific and medical data. The other presents arguments not at all based on scientific arguments, possibly qualified as a fantasist. Unfortunately, the consumer is interested in them
