Pride and a Paycheck is a free publication for tradeswomen and women who are thinking about entering blue collar trades. Started by Madeline Mixer in 1999, Pride and a Paycheck was initially funded through the San Francisco Foundation from funds created to support tradeswomen projects. Pride and a Paycheck includes photographs, stories, and poetry by tradeswomen themselves as well as tips from advocates who have been working to recruit women into careers.
