Pride and a Paycheck is a free publication for tradeswomen and women who are thinking about entering blue collar trades. Started by Madeline Mixer in 1999, Pride and a Paycheck was initially funded through the San Francisco Foundation from funds created to support tradeswomen projects. Pride and a Paycheck includes photographs, stories, and poetry by tradeswomen themselves as well as tips from advocates who have been working to recruit women into careers. Pride and a Paycheck is edited by Sue Doro, retired Machinist, and author of “Blue Collar Goodbyes” , “Sugar String”, "Heart Home and Hard Hats", "Of Birds and Factories", and other books

The flyer is an invitation for the opening reception and a preview of the exhibition. The photograph on the front of the flyer features three little boys at the Jerome incarceration camp and their names are Ray, Jeff, and Dennis Nakata.The James H. Osborne Nisei Collection contains mainly correspondence between Emiko and Usami Terada, incarcerees in the Rohwer incarceration camp, McGehee Arkansas, and the Thomas family in Lawndale, California, and photographs of the Teradas and the Thomases. The letters describe the trip from the Santa Anita Temporary Assembly Center to the Rohwer incarceration camp, their lives and conditions in the camp, and their concerns about their properties in Lawndale, California. Also included are photographs taken in the camp, some issues of "The Rohwer outpost," and fliers published during wartime
