    Annual Founded in Philadelphia in 1890; incorporated in 1906 as Henry F. Michell Co. Henry Michell was born in Switzerland and came to the U.S. in 1870. He worked for the Henry A. Dreer Co. in Philadelphia before starting his own firm in 1890. His brother Frederick J. Michell joined him in the business.
