Echoes of the Pomeran Slav's culture in the scientific poetry of M.V. Lomonosov: The Attempt of ethnographic commentary
Full text linkRozbor ódy „Cisárovi Petrovi Feodorovičovi k jeho nástupu na trón a na Nový rok 1762“ od M.V. Lomonosova z hľadiska slovansko-germánskych kontaktov a národnej identity v slovanskom svete poukazuje na Lomonosovovu snahu dokázať slovanský pôvod Varjagov v Novgorode a poprieť ich škandinávsky pôvod ako aj snahu identifikovať pozostatky slovanskej kultúry v severnom Nemecku.
The analysis of the ode "To Emperor Peter Feodorovich on his accession to the throne and on the New Year 1762" by M.V. Lomonosov from the perspective of Slavic-Germanic contacts and national identity in the Slavic world points to Lomonosov's effort to prove the Slavic origin of the Varangians in Novgorod and to deny their Scandinavian origin, as well as his effort to identify the remains of Slavic culture in northern Germany

Full text linkThe long development of comparative research into folk poetry has clearly shown that the relationships between the traditions of individual nations cannot be expressed by a single formula, that these ties and relationships are complex and exhibit many nuances.
The presented work aims to outline a typology of shades of Czech and Slovak folk literature as a model of these various relationships. It is based primarily on the interethnic situation of both traditions; this is characterized by several circumstances: (1) first of all, these are two neighboring nations that have a long border of contact; (2) these nations have a linguistically and ethnically related culture; (3) at the same time, however, they are partly neighboring other nations, which also places folk literature in different and distinct contexts.Dlhý vývoj porovnávacieho výskumu ľudovej poézie jasne ukázal, že vzťahy medzi tradíciami jednotlivých národov nemožno vyjadriť jedinou formulou, že tieto väzby a vzťahy sú zložité a vykazujú mnoho nuans.
Predložená práca chce načrtnúť typológiu odtieňov českej a slovenskej ľudovej slovesnosti ako model týchto najrôznejších vzťahov. Vychádza predovšetkým z interetnickej situácie oboch tradícií; tá je charakterizovaná niekoľkými okolnosťami: (1) predovšetkým ide o dva susedné národy, ktoré majú dlhú stykovú hranicu; (2) tieto národy majú jazykovo i etnicky príbuznú kultúru; (3) zároveň však sčasti susedí s inými národmi, čo tiež ľudovú slovesnosť zaraďuje do iných a odlišných súvislostí

Konštantín Jireček, the founder of Balkan studies, addressed ethnic issues of antiquity and the Middle Ages within the entire Balkan Peninsula, primarily based on the study of archival sources. He processed modern issues only within Bulgaria. He emphasized the geographical spread of ethnic groups. The ethnic perspective also largely determined Jireček's interest in folk culture.The author confronts Jireček's conclusions with current scientific knowledge about ethnogenesis and other ethnic issues.Dejiny slovanskej etnológie.
Konštantín Jireček, zakladateľ balkanistiky, riešil etnické otázky staroveku a stredoveku v rámci celého Balkánskeho polostrova, a to predovšetkým na základe štúdia archívnych prameňov. Novovekú problematiku spracoval iba v rámci Bulharska. Dôraz kládol na geografické rozšírenie etník. Etnické hľadisko z veľkej miery determinovalo aj Jirečkov záujem o ľudovú kultúru.Autorka konfrontuje Jirečkove závery so súčasnými vedeckými poznatkami o etnogenéze a ďalších etnických otázkach

Full text linkEver since its establishment in 1921 and throughout the 20´s, the Czechoslovak Communist Party had aspired, to be a mass-scale political party which had mainly been both addressing and mobilizing working classes as well as a number of intellectuals. Communism should have brought women their human dignity back, tearing them out of serfdom to men, thus making them thoroughly equal. I aim to put emphasis on the very nuances that resided in the Slovakia’s party membership base while at the same time scrutinizing its peculiar cits peculiar and embedded cultural, social and political traditions.Ideál proletárskej rodiny a materstva v ženskom komunistickom hnutí na Slovensku v 20. rokoch 20. storočia.
Už od svojho založenia v roku 1921 a počas 20. rokov 20. storočia sa Komunistická strana Československa snažila stať masovou politickou stranou, ktorá by oslovovala a mobilizovala najmä robotnícke triedy, ako aj množstvo intelektuálov. Komunizmus mal ženám vrátiť ľudskú dôstojnosť, vytrhnúť ich z otroctva mužov a tým ich úplne zrovnoprávniť. Mojím cieľom je zdôrazniť tie nuansy, ktoré sa vyskytovali v členskej základni slovenských strán, a zároveň skúmať špecifické a zakorenené kultúrne, spoločenské a politické tradície týchto miest
