Data related to the work entitled The Adsorption of Chlorpromazine on the Surface of Gold Nanoparticles and Its Effect on the Toxicity to Selected Mammalian Cells
This study aimed to synthesize chlorpromazine (CPZ) conjugates with gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) and assess their biological effects on human lymphocyte cell lines (HUT-78 and COLO 720L), as well as human (COLO 679) and murine (B16-F0) melanoma cells. The biological activity of the CPZ-AuNP conjugates was compared to that of free CPZ and well-characterized AuNPs. Cell treatments with CPZ, AuNPs, and CPZ-AuNP conjugates were analyzed using standard assays—MTT, LDH, and MDA—to monitor mitochondrial activity, membrane integrity, and lipid peroxidation, respectively. Results showed that positively charged CPZ-AuNP conjugates were more effective in reducing cell viability than AuNPs alone. A dose-dependent increase in membrane damage was linked to oxidative stress triggered by the conjugates. The biological effects were influenced by both the composition and particle size of the AuNPs. Overall, conjugation with AuNPs appeared to diminish CPZ's biological activity, and the cellular response varied depending on the cell line examined.</p

Photochemical C3-amination of pyridines via Zincke imine intermediates
Selective skeletal and peripheral editing of the pyridine moiety has broadly expanded the chemical space. While C-H functionalization at C2 and C4 positions are enabled by the inherent reactivity of this heteroarene, selective derivatization at the C3 position has long posed a significant challenge. Recently, based on a dearomatization-rearomatization sequence, involving Zincke imine intermediates, selective halogenation (-Br, -Cl, and -I) and isotopic labelling were accomplished. Here, we report a mild and regioselective method for C3-amination that relies on the photochemical reaction of Zincke imine with an amidyl radical generated from N-aminopyridinium salts. Mechanistic and theoretical studies indicate that radical intermediates are involved and explain the C3 regioselectivity of the reaction.</p

Polysaccharidase activity in the rumen of Jersey cow
The aim of the present study was to investigate and compare the effects of different types of zeolites and their contribution in the diet on polysaccharidases activity in the rumen of heifers. Natural and synthetic zeolites and their various amounts (2 and 4% of the control diet) were used. The study was performed on 5 rumen-fistulated Jersey heifers in a 5 x 5 Latin square design with 5 dietary treatments (control, 2% natural zeolites – ZN2, 2% synthetic zeolites – ZS2, 4% natural zeolites – ZN4, 4% synthetic zeolites – ZS4) and 5 experimental periods. The samples of ruminal digesta were taken from animals before feeding and 3 h after feeding. The significant interactions of diet and sampling time were shown for cellulolytic (P = 0.005), xylanolytic (P = 0.050) and amylolytic (P = 0.044) activities. The addition of 4% ZN to the diet significantly increased pectinolytic activity in the rumen in comparison to control group (P = 0.035). Interestingly, an upward trend of amylolytic activity has been shown (P = 0.082) in ZN2 group. The incorporation of 2% ZS to the diet significantly increased cellulolytic activity compared to control (P = 0.020) and ZN2 diets (P = 0.002). It can be concluded that zeolites can act in the origin-and dose-dependent manner. An increased activity of carbohydrate-digesting enzymes can be related to buffering properties of zeolites, which create favourable conditions for the growth and development of microorganisms. Differences between zeolites action on studied parameters may be derived from their chemical composition and particle size.</p

Every 7 days, the collected tape is segmented into daily samples, mounted on microscope slides, and stained for analysis. Pollen grains are counted and classified visually along four horizontal lines per segment. PRELUDIUM 4/2021 AT - results of qualitative and quantitative analysis of amino acids in egg samples depending on the type of fodder, UHPLC
The database contains the results of the qualitative and quantitative analysis of amino acids. Amino acids were analyzed in eggs of laying hens in terms of the effect of different types of feed mixtures. The database includes automatically generated reports from LabSolution software and results in Excel files, obtained by means of Shimadzu UHPLC. The report contains a chromatogram, as well as concentrations and retention times of individual amino acids. In addition, the database contains the results of the total protein of the eggs tested.</p
Effect of struvite (Crystal Green) application on microbial activity and soybean yield – a preliminary study
The included data refer to the biometric characteristics of soybean plants fertilized with struvite. The biometric characteristics include basic soybean parameters such as stem mass, root mass, plant height, and the height of the first pod setting. The second data file concerns measurements taken at different wavelengths, which can be used to calculate the content of photosynthetic pigments. By measuring the intensity of light absorption at specific wavelengths, it is possible to calculate the chlorophyll content in plant tissues. This allows for the assessment of the plant's physiological condition, health status, photosynthetic capacity, and the effectiveness of fertilization.The study compared the chlorophyll content in soybean plants fertilized with struvite and superphosphate.</p
Adsorption Data for Activated WUT-1′(Ni) and WUT-2′(Ni) Materials
This dataset contains adsorption isotherms for activated porous materials WUT-1′(Ni) and WUT-2′(Ni), derived from the removal of guest solvent molecules from WUT-1(Ni) and WUT-2(Ni), respectively. Both compounds are based on the same decanuclear nickel(II) hydroxyquinolinato-carbonato cluster, with the molecular formula [Ni10(μ6-CO3)4(L)12], where L = 2-hydroxyquinolinate. Depending on crystallization conditions, the clusters self-assemble into two distinct porous network topologies: diamondoid (WUT-1) or pyrite-type (WUT-2). The materials exhibit reversible phase transitions and selective gas separation properties. The dataset includes raw experimental adsorption isotherms in the Adsorption Information File (AIF) format for various gases and temperatures. </p
