Vertical stratification of bees in an urbanized environment

No full text
The dataset contains a list of bee species found in all 27 study sites (rows A1-9, B1-9, C1-9). Data for individual species are presented in separate columns for females and males. A pollinator inventory was conducted from March to September 2022 in Poznań. The city is located in western Poland (52° 25′ N, 16°58′ E). Six pan traps were deployed at each study site. Pan traps were placed at three different heights: two at ground level (h 0), two at mid-story (~2–3 m, h 1), and two at canopy level (≥10 m, h 2).Data contains a ReadMe.txt file.</p

Light curve, spectra, and AIA DEMs for weak flares observed by STIX during 2021 Sep. 20–25

No full text
Following the Neupert effect, we quantify the relative yield of X-ray emission in different energy bands. During 2021 September 20–25, the Solar Orbiter mission was closer to the Sun (∼0.6 au) and had a moderate separation angle (<40°) from the Sun–Earth line. We analysed multiwavelength emission from ∼200 (mostly weak) flares, commonly observed by the Spectrometer Telescope for Imaging X-rays (STIX), STEREO-A, GOES, and the Solar Dynamics Observatory. We identified strongly nonthermal flares by associating hard X-ray fluence (12–20 keV) and soft X-ray flux (4–10 keV) with the peak soft X-ray flux into the QF factor. We provide STIX light curves and spectrogram data with estimated QF in the dataset for all 203 analysed flares with marked time characteristics (JPEG files). For 20 selected flares, we provide GOES light curves and Differential Emission Measure estimates based on AIA data (JPEG files). The spectral data (spectrum files, spectral response matrices and fitted parameters for thermal and nonthermal components) are provided in FITS format (https://fits.gsfc.nasa.gov/fits_utility.html).</p

SIMS and Numerical Analysis of Asymmetrical Out-Diffusion of Hydrogen and Carbon in CdxZn1−xO:Eu Multilayer

No full text
This study employs secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS) to investigate the diffusion behavior of hydrogen and carbon in a CdxZn1−xO:Eu multilayer at different annealing temperatures (500–900 °C). The SIMS results reveal a significant out-diffusion of these elements toward the surface and diffusion to the interface region. The diffusion flow rates are asymmetric and favor the interface direction. The depth profiles of diffused elements are fitted using the forward timecentered space (FTCS) iteration method. The activation energies are determined to be 0.35 ± 0.06 eV for hydrogen and 0.33 ± 0.09 eV for carbon, suggesting an interstitial mechanism in CdxZn1−xO. The results indicate that increasing the annealing temperatures leads to a significant decrease in impurity concentrations.</p

Surowe dane z badań nad wykorzystaniem danych behawioralnych w systemie e-commerce do predykcji zachowań klientów i stworzenia mechanizmów preloading danych

Composite detectors as a beneficial tool for dose measurements of secondary radiation in Boron Neutron Capture Therapy

No full text
A concept for studying the effects of secondary radiation in boron neutron capture therapy based on the application of multilayer composite scintillators was proposed in this work. Such composite scintillators can be used for simultaneous measurement of the dose of various types of ionizing radiation, including 7Li ions, α-particles and γ-rays. For this purpose, three types of composite detectors based on the single crystalline films and single crystals of Y3Al5O12 and Lu3Al5O12 garnets, doped with Ce3+, Pr3+ and Sc3+ ions, were produced using the liquid phase epitaxy growth method. The scintillation reader for in-situ dose measurement of different radiation components at BNCT was constructed based on the developed types of composite detectors. The possibility of recording various radiation components was demonstrated using: 1) the differences in the pulse height spectra and scintillation decay kinetics of various parts of composite detectors under excitation by α-particles of 239Pu source; 2) the difference in the radioluminescence spectra of films and crystal scintillators in composite detectors under excitation by γ-rays of 192Ir (392 keV) source. The obtained results were discussed for choice of the best registration methods and types of composite detectors for direct dose measurements of secondary radiation under excitation with thermal neutrons.</p

Research data for the manuscript: Specific interactions and mechanism of association in highly viscous aldehyde 3-phenylpropanal

No full text
The dataset contains raw dielectric, calorimetric, FTIR, Raman measurement data, and MD and DFT calculation data, presented in the article entitled “Specific interactions and mechanism of association in highly viscous aldehyde 3-phenylpropanal”. In this work, we investigated thermal, dynamical, and structural properties as well as association patterns in 3-phenyl-1-propanol (3P1Pol) and 3-phenyl-1-propanal (3P1Pal) with special attention paid to the latter compound. Both systems turned out to be good glass formers, differing by 17 K in the glass transition temperature, which indicated a strong change in the self-assembly pattern. This supposition was further confirmed by the analysis of dielectric spectra, where, apart from the α-relaxation, a unique Debye (D)-mode, characteristic of self-association, was detected in both samples, marked by different dynamical properties (dielectric strength and timescale separation from the α-process). Further diffraction and infrared investigations, supported by DFT computations and MD simulations, revealed that hydrogen (H)-bonds play a crucial role in the association within 3P1Pol. In contrast, 3P1Pal exhibits at least five distinct intermolecular interactions, including dipole-dipole forces and π-stacking, as well as remarkable H-bonds formed between methylene groups adjacent to the formyl unit and carbonyl moiety. This data not only systematizes the previous understanding of association but also paves the way for new explorations of this phenomenon in aldehydes.</p
