Research data for article: Evaluation of 1+1 and 1:1 Optical Protection Architectures in Passive WDM Optical Xhaul Access Networks
Files include the data obtained during realization of project NCN OPUS 27 "Modeling and optimization of multi-service and multilayer Xhaul networks" ("Modelowanie i optymalizacja wielousługowych i wielowarstwowych sieci Xhaul").The study evaluates the costs of 1+1 and 1:1 protection architectures that use a dedicated path protection mechanism in a passive WDM-based Xhaul access network aggregating traffic from remote nodes in the optical layer. The data includes results from numerical experiments on the WRO-17 network topology. The WRO-17 topology data is also provided in the files. The protection architectures, evaluation assumptions, system parameters, traffic model, and the results analysis were presented in the article M. Klinkowski, „Evaluation of 1+1 and 1:1 Optical Protection Architectures in Passive WDM Optical Xhaul Access Networks”, ICTON 2025 Conference, Barcelona, Spain.</p
Subdaily records of atmospheric pressure, wind speed and direction, and air temperature in southwest Greenland during the latter half of the 18th century.
The oldest meteorological data for the southwest coast of Greenland date from the second half of the 18th century. Weather observations were conducted by the Moravian Brothers, who established the first Christian mission in a settlement called Nuuk (formerly: Neu-Herrnhut, Godthaab, Godthab or Godthåb).During their mission, the Moravian Brothers compiled two series of meteorological data: 1) Sep 1767 – Jul 1768 and 2) Sep 1784 – Jun 1792. For the first series (Neu-Herrnhut), observations were made twice a day (8:00 AM and 2:00 PM LT). Parameters such as air temperature (°F), atmospheric pressure (Paris inch and Paris line), and wind direction and force (1-6) were measured. The second series (Godthaab) consists of measurements taken three times a day (7:00 AM, 2:00 PM, and 9:00 PM LT). Air temperature (°R), atmospheric pressure (Paris inch), and wind direction and force (0-4) were measured.Historical data were quality-checked and corrected. Air temperature was converted to degrees Celsius. Atmospheric pressure to mmHg and them to hPa. The gravity correction "Pφcorr" was then applied, and the pressure was reduced to sea level altitude "SLP" using the formulas provided in Cappelan (2009). Atmospheric pressure was also corrected to the value at 0°C. For this purpose, the Kämtz formula from Können et al. (2003). For more details, see Przybylek et al. (2013). Wind speed was converted to m∙s-1 using the Beaufort scale. For more details on the conversion, see Chmist et al. (2025). New wind speed classes were defined for each series and assigned appropriate values, see Table in wind_conversion.pdf file.References: Cappelen J (ed.) Sample 3D Buildings (CityGML LOD2 GeoPackage)
This dataset contains 4 test 3D building models from the city of Krakow, in CityGML LOD2 format, converted to GeoPackage format. The data is presented in the 1992 coordinate system (EPSG:2180) and can be used for testing various GIS applications and tools, including SolarGIS. A note for QGIS users: when using the data in this application, it is recommended to disable the filtering of "invalid" objects to avoid omitting perfectly vertical planes, which may be interpreted as incorrect.Dataset statistics:Number of GML objects: 4Number of 3D polygons: 717Size: 440 kBEncoding: UTF-8Geometry: Polygon (PolygonZ)CRS: EPSG:2180 - ETRF2000-PL / CS92 - ProjectedField {type}: Fid {integer64}, gml_id {string}, roofType {integer}</ul

Farms perception of economic performace during pandemic and post-pandemic crises
The file contains data collected during interviews among 171 farms in Poland in 2023. The study concerned measuring the perception gap and cognitive bias among farmers in assessing changes in economic performance during the pandemic and post-pandemic crises (2020-2023), including changes in agricultural production, income and costs. They include estimated values of changes in selected economic variables (in %). The estimated data were compared to the real data received from FADN system to indicate the level of perception gap and cognitive bias. Two groups of farms were analysed - farms participating and not participating in short food supply chains (SFSC). As a result, a comparative analysis was conducted.</p
Data from research on electrocatalysts for seawater splitting
The data set contains the results of studies on the electrocatalytic properties of battery waste towards water splitting and seawater splitting. The results show that the black carbon mass left over from hydrometallurgical metal recovery is an efficient and stable electrocatalyst for the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) performed in alkaline media and in simulated seawater.Electrochemical tests revealed that BAT 1 reached an OER overpotential only 14 mV and 95 mV higher than the benchmark RuO₂ catalyst for water and seawater splitting, respectively. These findings highlight the potential of waste-derived, low-cost electrocatalysts in advancing the water splitting economy.</p
Haptoglobin response in serum and pleural fluid of tuberculin reactor cattle
These are data concerning samples collected from cattle to assess the usefulness of measuring haptoglobin concentration (in serum and tissue fluid) as an additional biomarker in tuberculosis (TB) diagnostics. The included data are presented in a table where the consecutive columns are: sample identifier, type of sample collected from the individual (t - tissue fluid, s - serum), presence (1) or absence (0) of TB lesions, TB culture result - positive (1) or negative (0), and ELISA test result (haptoglobin concentration in ng/mL).</p
