Data from research on the prediction of recovery rate of metals from spent Li-ion batteries using machine learning methods
No full textExperimental methods (including hydrometallurgical methods) for recovering metals from spent lithium-ion batteries are complex, expensive, still inefficient, and generate secondary waste. Therefore, machine learning methods are used to optimize recovery methods while effectively managing waste.In our research on optimizing metal recovery using the hydrometallurgical method with sulfuric acid, we utilized an experimental dataset obtained in this project and literature data to determine the optimal leaching process parameters and maximize the metal recovery rate, mainly for lithium and cobalt. We employed the following machine learning algorithms: Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, Linear Regression, SVR (Support Vector Regression), MLP (MultiLayerPerception), KNN (k-nearest neighbors), and Decision Tree. The input data (training data) used were: sulfuric acid concentration, additive and reducer (H2O2) concentration, temperature, time, S/L ratio (mass of battery powder/volume of leaching bath), and metal recovery rate in percentage.</p

A dataset of resting-state and task-based EEG with psychological measures in adults with ADHD and controls
No full textThis dataset contains EEG recordings, cognitive test scores and summary results of psychological questionnaires for 16 adults: 8 (4 women and 4 men) with diagnosed ADHD and 8 (4 women and 4 men) healthy controls aged between 21 and 39 years.Raw data folder - includes all registered, raw EEG signals divided according to task and saved in .mat files (9 files for 16 participants), mat. files include EEG signals for the eyes closed and open condition and five different cognitive tests.The data have been anonymized and are available for research purposes only. Users are required to cite the source and adhere to ethical principles for research involving human participants.Please read the Readme.txt file for additional information.The database was prepared as part of the National Science Centre Miniatura 8 research grant, DEC-2024/08/X/ST6/01305, entitled: Analiza sygnałów EEG od osób z ADHD i grupy kontrolnej zdrowych z uwzględnieniem różnic między płciami z zastosowaniem metod sztucznej inteligencji (Analysis of EEG signals from individuals with ADHD and a healthy control group, taking into account gender differences, using artificial intelligence methods). Single vanadium ion magnetic dopant in an individual CdTe/ZnTe quantum dot
No full textThe source data file for a publication: "Single vanadium ion magnetic dopant in an individual CdTe/ZnTe quantum dot".Photoluminescence spectrum of CdTe/ZnTe quantum dot containing single vanadium dopant.We present the basic properties of a physical system: an individual V2+ ion embedded into an individual quantum dot. The system is realized utilizing molecular beam epitaxy and it is observed using a low-temperature polarization-resolved magnetophotoluminescence. The nature of the system is confirmed by observation of the excitonic lines split due to the interactions of a vanadium ion with carriers confined in a CdTe/ZnTe quantum dot. Observed data are explained by the numerical modeling which includes an 𝑠,𝑝−𝑑 exchange interaction, Zeeman splitting of the exciton and the ion, a diamagnetic shift, and the presence of shear strain within the quantum dot. The fundamental state of vanadium exhibits a spin ±1/2, making this system a textbook localized qubit.</p
